Very professional and classy. I was there because I had been subjected to a grenade explosion during a safety test. I arrived with my 2 year old daughter in tow, as I had no babysitter. The doctor who gave me my hearing test didn't blink an eye. When I had to go into the soundproof booth, daughter started crying, so the doctor allowed her to sit next to her while my test was performed. She even let daughter wear one of her headsets. I had serious hearing loss, so doctor made some arrangements for me to be seen immediately by a colleague, who did some more tests. Again, he was not fazed by my daughter in tow, and everyone smiled. The testing done allowed me to make a worker's compensation claim. Sorry if this review seems gushing, but I was quite impressed, and believe good work should be rewarded! read more

I have have been using Dr Steven Platner and Entaa Care for my hearing loss for some time. They are quite remarkable and provide first rate advice and counsel. The practice provides a very detailed and though approach to care and all of the doctors are very knowledgeable and reassuring. Dr. Marcus was very nice but I am upset about the office/billing procedures. He tried to perform a scope but I was too congested. I was STILL CHARGED for a "surgery" and my co-pay is $300. FOR NOTHING. Rather than only covering such a potential in the small print of office docs that must be signed, I believe it would be a good practice to inform patients that an additional cost might be accrued and give the patient the option of having it done. I will NOT return to this office. The billing office was not helpful in any way. read more

I had a great experience with the front office staff, back office staff and Dr. Marcus. He fit me in for a quick appointment to look at a throat issue. I was scheduled on short notice, taken back quickly, diagnosed and taken care of by everyone from the staff to doctor in a proficient and professional manner. I highly recommend this staff. Never use these people for hearing aids or their repair! They have no Annapolis phone number, and no hours posted. You must go the office, which may be empty or uninhabited during the lunch break or will be closed on Wednesdays. You can call the Glen Burnie office which may know where the staff has disappeared to. Life is too short to deal with this irritation. read more

This is a very large practice (multiple offices) and extremely busy. Unfortunately, like many doctors, they only spend a short period of time with you, sometimes under 5 minutes. We have also felt like we were not being listened to. For example, visits to the practice to address ear pains with muffled hearing, etc... have resulted in very hasty conclusions. If they can't see anything wrong by looking in the ear for 2 or 3 seconds, their favorite, instant, false diagnosis seems to be TMJ, or migranes. This has been our experience, unfortunately: "Do you grind your teeth?" "I'm not sure, but..." "That's probably it then, I'm going to give you muscle relaxers." "But what about my ear, it..." "Do you have a history of migranes?" "No." "That's it then, it's probably your migranes." "But I don't get migranes and I thought you said it was TMJ?" "Here's your prescription; let's schedule a follow-up." Leaving an office with prescriptions for inappropriate treatments is a sinking feeling especially when getting an appointment usually means a missed day of work. read more

We were two minutes late for my daughter's appointment at the Annapolis location, and they refused to see us. I attempted to call them because we were running late due to traffic from the rain and having pulled over for an ambulance, but no one answered. Her appointment was the last of the day, we were literally only two minutes late. Less actually if you don't count the time I waited for someone to come back to the front desk. I asked if there was any way we could still be seen and they said no. The doctor was still there, but would not see us. My seven year old was upset, confused, and disappointed. I will also note that I have waited over fifteen minutes past my appointment time at this same office, and over thirty minutes past my children's appointment times. With no apologies given for their lateness.To be so callus towards a child, is inexcusable in my opinion. My family will no longer be using ENTAA Care at any of their locations. read more
