It is quite of a drive for me, but I really enjoyed it! This place is cute and a favorite place of a close friend so I knew it would be good! The chicken was very tasty and the beef ribs were good! I'd say the drive was worth it!
Really unique Hawaiian Filipino fusion, you can tell they put a lot of care into the food. The beef inihaw plate is absolutely the best thing on the menu, super flavorful and tender; I would order this same dish every visit! The macaroni salad had a bit more mayonnaise than I would prefer and after a few bites it gets too 'rich'. The crispy pusit has been "out of stock" for over a month. To avoid confusion, it may be best to remove or cover this from their menu temporarily.. The overall experience was very good and I would definitely go back again to sample more of their menu.
Wow! I've lived in the area for 5 years and this was my first time trying it -- I'm so glad I did. We went for lunch on a Sunday and it was busy. There are about 14 tables inside, and it's an order-at-the-counter type of place where they bring the food to your table. When we ordered there weren't any tables open except a small two-person counter table in the corner. It felt a little cramped, but we made it work. The food came out in about 10 minutes, and when it hit the table we were surprised by the massive portions. We definitely took a lot home. The meat in every dish was super tender and fresh. I'd recommend everything we ordered: the 808 plate, garlic noodles, mango refresher, mochi cake, and the sea salt caramel coffee. We'll definitely be back!
This place have been on my list for a while now and I finally had the chance to try. This is a solid 4 star. There is a parking lot so it shouldn't be a trouble to find parking. You order at the counter and the food will come out when ready. You bus your own table and the utensils and condiments are at a designated table. It was steady when we came so not too busy. Foodwise: 808 mix plate 4.5/5: it was a big plate that can easily feed 2 people. You have the option of adding on ribs if you choose for additional cost. We got half pork ribs and half beef ribs. The beef ribs was a little disappointing, not enough meat, not tender. Pork ribs were good. Fried shrimp and lumpia and spam was good. The rice and Mac salad help balance out the sauce from the meat. Chicken adobo 5/5: this was a really good dish for a good price. You get 3 pieces of huge thigh + rice, Mac salad and salad. Flavorful and tender. Pandan crusher halo halo 5/5: yummy. What you would expect and it would be perfect for a hot day. Halaya enseamada 2.5/5: I was pretty Disappointed with this one since the name of the restaurant was of this bread. The bread though was very very dry. The flavor was good but the dryness was very overpowering Overall, a solid place and I'm glad they opened a second location closer to me. I definitely would be back when I'm craving a good home cook meal
First visit, this place is located in a strip mall area. I was planning on eating inside for lunch, but it was so freezing cold inside that I ended up getting the order to go. Unfortunately, their selection of drinks were virtually all high sugared options, they didn't even sell bottled water (yet they had a little container with courtesy water for guest dining in). I ordered the Hurricane Chicken and it was excellent, and the drizzle of spicy mayo made it the bomb! Side of rice was cooked perfectly and had a lot of flavor; the Mac salad was creamy and very tasty.
Enseamada Cafe is an absolute gem in Everett! From the moment we walked in, the service was incredibly fast and so genuinely friendly--the staff greeted us with warm smiles, took our order quickly, and everything came out piping hot in no time. It felt like they really cared about making our visit special. The food? Mind-blowingly amazing. The ube pancakes are pure decadence--fluffy, perfectly infused with that vibrant ube flavor, topped with a luscious ube cream sauce that's rich without being overly sweet. It's the ideal balance of indulgent and just-right, and I could eat them every day! We also got the sisig, and wow--the portions of pork belly are seriously generous. Tender, crispy-edged pieces loaded with that signature tangy, savory goodness. It was hearty and flavorful, easily enough to share. And the fried chicken? The sauces that come with it elevate it to another level--perfectly crispy chicken paired with dipping sauces that add just the right kick and depth. Every bite was packed with island-inspired flavor. This spot nails it on taste, portion size, and hospitality. If you're anywhere near Everett, do yourself a favor and go--it's worth every star! Honestly thought I'd left a review ages ago. Enseamada is one of my hidden gems I recommend up north. Casual location, ample parking with a nice plaza, and delicious food plus dessert. Hard to beat simplicity. A bit pricey at first glance but proportional to the quantity. Large portions, ube items, and halo halo are a huge selling point, getting dessert while here is convenient. Pipikaula Ribs - their plates are comforting and filling. Not a fan of the BBQ ribs on the inihaw plate because there's too much sauce (though I know people love sauce), so these ribs are amazing. Salty, savory, and juicy. Meat is tender and majority falls off the bone easily. Mac is tasty, creamy, and not too saucy.
Food is as good as it looks and it looks so good. Well seasoned. Tender. Their sweets are not too sweet. People who work there are nice. The cafe felt open with the natural lighting. Delight to eat there. Price is fair.
Cute cafe style Filipino/Hawaiian fusion restaurant, seat yourself, bust your own table type of vibe with limited staff interaction. One thing I loved to see when I walked in was multiple Filipino families sitting around the table, very good sign that the food was good. I ordered the Kara Kara, very generous portion and the peanut sauce paired so well with the crispy Kara Kara and veggies. My cousin ordered the 808 and loved the ribs, we both had leftovers to take home. Seen some reviews about their ube so we opted for the mango halo halo which was very good! If you're in the area definitely check them out!
We visited Enseamada Cafe again recently for a weekday dinner to try some more of their specialties. It wasn't too busy when we arrived at 6PM. The entire restaurant smelled of sugar and dough as they had just baked a fresh batch of malasadas! Of course had to buy one as well, along with the massive amount of food... Ube Pancakes w/ Macadamia ($13.50) - Two thick and fluffy pancakes sit in essentially a vat of ube cream. The pancakes are excellent - soft and fluffy with a bit of a bounce to them. My wife commented that she thought they might have added rice flour to contribute to the almost mochi-like texture. The pancakes are a deep purple color but only have the slightest ube flavor. The real meat of the ube comes in the cream sauce. They give a ton, enough to almost completely cover the pancakes in the bowl. It's thick and creamy and full of earthy ube flavor. While the pancakes soak in the cream they don't become soggy at all. We opted to pay $1.50 extra for the macadamia nuts. They are crushed and slightly salted contributing more flavor and crunch. In the future I would never order the pancakes without the nuts. The pancakes really are excellent. I liked them way more than the more famous Ludi's downtown. (5/5) Garlic Noodles w/ Lechon ($20) - I thought this would be similar to the garlic noodles found most famously in SF but these are completely different. They don't have much garlic flavor at all; instead the dish tastes kind of like generic Chinese lo mein complete with a slightly sweet soy sauce enveloping the noodles. For an extra $10 I added the Lechon which they are pretty generous with. Tons of crunchy meat bits strewn all around the top, fatty and delicious. (4/5) Adobo Bowl ($14.95) - This is a well arranged plate with two small scoops of rice, almost vestigial given the amount of meat, a base of mac salad topped with greens, and two entire tender chicken thighs marinated in adobo seasoning. The macaroni still has a bit of a bite so it's not too overcooked and is mixed in a really creamy and somewhat watery sauce with plenty of veggies mixed! The thighs are tender, slightly sweet, tangy and savory in flavor. I'm not 100% certain that the thighs are actually stewed/simmered because there's not any liquid base included and the exterior of the chicken is dry. It's not the best adobo I've eaten, but they are pretty generous with the portion size. (4/5) Surprisingly, my favorite thing in the restaurant is their green sauce found at the condiment counter. It's so fresh tasting, very cilantro forward with plenty of fish sauce umami. I was told they make it fresh every morning and was encouraged to take more since it was near the end of the day and they would have to throw it out! Enseamada Cafe is very generous with portion size, especially in terms of protein. We ended up finishing maybe only 1/3 of the food we ordered, took the rest home and ate with more veggies and rice over the next couple of days. It was my 1st time there and I had the Beef BBQ Ribs Inihaw Plate, very tasty and cooked fresh as i ordered! The service was quick and the employees were very helpful in choosing an item from the menu! Ambiance was nice and some good music playing!
Super delicious Filipino/Hawaiian restaurant with crazy delicious food. The food are a fusion of Filipino favorites like Sisig, Lechon, Kare-kare with island favorites like garlic shrimp, bbq chicken (which taste like huli-huli chicken, served with rice, salad and Mac salad. The Pandan crush halo-halo is also superb and feels different than traditional halo-halo but in a good way. Portions are quite large for the price, so definitely good value for what you pay. Service is quite fast too. Definitely would come back to try the rest of their dishes. For reference, we ordered crispy pork belly bites, sisig bowl, grilled garlic pork belly bowl, 808 plate with bbq chicken & pandan crush halo-halo. Two thumbs up, way up!
Visited Enseamada Cafe with a couple friends for lunch after years of wanting to go and it did not disappoint! First off, the interior is super cute. You seat yourself and order at the front counter. The place is a bit smaller than expected so you may have to wait on a busier day. Food wise, there was not a single thing I didn't enjoy, but I absolutely loved their sweets and I'm usually not a sweet person! The Ube Pancakes and Ube Halo Halo were hits in my book. I also loved how they cooked their lechon. The skin was soo crispy and the meat was still tender. I'm definitely coming back and I hope to try other menu items.
I kept seeing videos on Enseamada Cafe pop up on my social media feed for weeks. Every time I saw the videos, my stomach would immediately start grumbling, so I knew it couldn't be long before we went to try it out. When we stopped by, I got the sisig bowl, which totaled to $15. We decided to dine in, because we wanted to eat the food warm and fresh. I was pleasantly surprised by how big the dish was. Enseamada Cafe was very generous with their portion sizes, and I had to take home half of it for later. The pork belly was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. There was a nice glaze on the pork belly, which made it even more tasty. I liked the variety of sides that came with the dish, ranging from Mac salad, green salad, and rice. There was a sweet sauce on the sides, which paired well with the saltiness of the pork. Having the different sides helped with incorporating a variety textures. All in all, I enjoyed the food here and would love to stop by again in the future! read more
Saw the Instagram post regarding today's 7/12/22 soft opening through 7/16/22 from 11am to 6pm. I-5 N freeway traffic was merciful, excited to checkout the new Enseamada Cafe location in South Everett. They are located in the strip mall complex in between Touba Bakery and Tyler's Donut House off of 112th Ave SW and Evergreen Way. I was the third visitor at 1130, but after I ordered and as I'm typing there's already 10 people in line. It seems I must of set off the bat signal or we all received that vital memo, lol. Be kind and patient with the counter and kitchen crew during the soft opening, especially with the new Clover POS system. Trust me, your patience will be rewarded with the tasty menu items. On the posted menu, there are seven island faves and three sides available. Onsite there's a refrigerated case of beverages and featured coffee selections. Look at the daily specials too. Plus the popular varieties of ensymada, Filipino style brioche, are also available for purchase. I ordered a sea salt crema iced coffee ($5) and one of today's featured specials, kare kare ($11.99). The kare kare was served with steamed rice topped with furikake. The savory, succulent beef was so delicious, maraming laman! I appreciated the nicely cooked bok choy, green beans (not sitaw) and Japanese eggplant. The creamy peanut sauce was well seasoned, one didn't need any bagoong. I am very full and satisfied. I also received a complimentary side order of lumpia. This was hot, crispy, and downright tasty! Nearly inhaled the entire order. The brick and mortar location has pleasant interior decor, high ceilings, and plentiful natural light. The reggae music gave that chill island atmosphere, but easily some Filipino artists should be featured instead. Just saying. Great to see a steady stream of onsite customers and takeout orders during my near 90 minutes here. All that hard work paid off selling the popular ensymada from Tacoma to Shoreline. - Review for soft open - Excited for a new Filipino restaurant and came during the soft opening. Staff was super friendly and some things were sold out (ex. pastries, beef bbq rib, garlic noodles). Personal favorite was the sisig bowl on the sizzling plate. The sisig was fatty and crispy. Presentation here is on point for their soft opening. There was a bit of a wait since their place is a bit small but it's because they're putting love into each dish. Ube pancakes weren't obnoxiously sweet which I was worried about. And the 808 mixed plate with the pork bbq ribs is nice mix of a lot of options if you can't decide on one thing. Excited to see them when they have their grand opening! read more
The food here is amazing and totally worth the wait if you get here right when they open! Normally we arrive 15 minutes before they open and can be out the door in 15 mins after opening. Food comes out pretty quickly and everything truly is amazing. The pork ribs are my favorite plus with garlic noodles. All the pastries and desserts are amazing too! read more
I came for the Ube Pancakes of course! Those beautiful purple pancakes are getting quite the attention and for good reason. They're unlike anything you've ever tasted. Yes, you've had pancakes but these kept their pancakey consistency even while drenched in ube syrup. The ube syrup is heavy and at first I thought it was maybe too much, but the more I ate it the more I loved it. I would maybe ask for it on the side if they can just so I control the amount as I go but drenching them is definitely a top way to enjoy these! Mine also had a strawberry halved on top and the tarty taste really added a flavor these sweet pancakes needed. I saw in some photos they sometimes add blueberries and I would have loved to try that! I think a few more mixed berries on top would really do the trick on these pancakes but even alone and with the macadamia nuts on top they are by far some of the best pancakes I've ever had if not the BEST just for their unique color, consistency and taste. We ordered an 808 mix plate to share as well between my husband and me and this is an impressively massive plate with everything you could possibly want. 2 beef bbq ribs, 1 spam piece, 2 lumpia, 2 crispy shrimp, mac salad, and rice. It was so so so good. The rice was overdone though and mushy so we left that aside but we had so much more to work with it was okay. The beef on the ribs really just came right off and was so tender and delicious. I liked the sweet and sour sauce they were coated in and 2 pieces had a lot of meat! The lumpia are also the most authentic like I have tried as far as shape and filling go. I would gladly be back to order containers filled with lumpia from here! Of course all good brunch dates require coffee so we ordered the ube sweet cream and the sea salt creama. I'd give the ube a 3/5 but the sea salt creama a 5/5! Although neither of them was very strong they are sweet and the sea salt creama was both of our favorite! read more

I got a big combo plate and I was quite pleased with it. Mac salad, a couple of big ribs, spam slices, salad, rice. All quite solid. Still wanting to try the Enseamadas. I'll get to it. But, DANG, the coffee drink I had. I can't recall what it was called but it was AMAZING. It can be pretty busy inside you you might be waiting or have to take it to go. That's the only downside currently. read more
Visited Seattle for a few days and it's been on my plan to visit this! First saw this place on IG and their version of halo halo intrigued me! Location - north of Seattle, the drive up there is not that bad. Plenty of parking as the place is located in a strip mall. Ambiance is your typical Filipino restaurant with cute Filipino decors. Ample seating inside. Service - everyone's nice and accommodating. Everyone's ready to answer questions about the menu. Fast service, food came out freshly made. Food - everything were good! I love how tasty the sisig is and the serving was massive! The halo halo lived up to expectation! The ube ice cream is to die for! I wish I live closer to this place! Lol They also have baked goodies and I forgot to get some of their ensaymada! Maybe enough reason to visit this place again read more
After being here a few more times, I can say that I love this place! Same great food! Not much else to say! The beef ribs are a little hard to eat, but is delicious! Sisig is crispy and tasty! They need to be more generous with the sauce for the ribs, I only got one small container of the sauce that was barely enough for one rib and had to ask for more. Also I think the rice to food ratio is off, more rice is needed for that much sisig! The salad dressing, I need the recipe. But that's a small constructive criticism and will not affect my love for this place! read more

Everything was so good! Quick/friendly service. You need to grab your own utensils/bus your own table which is fine but didn't know at first. The 808 mix plate and the ube halo halo was delicious. The adobo bowl came with a lot of chicken, I wish it was a little more sour but that's just my preference. Definitely coming back again! read more

Food was plentiful and I split the plate with my brother. Very busy here. Tables were full. Lumping was nice and solid. Very filled. I did not like the sauce on the chicken. I preferred soy sauce chicken. This sweet orange sauce is not very tasty. Service friendly and very nice. Place was very clean. read more
This is a review for their take out! We arrived Saturday afternoon to find the place completely full so decided to get our food to go. With 3 parties ahead of us and plenty of others waiting around for their food, we actually got our order super quick! 2 minute wait for my Ube cream coffee which was rich and flavorful but not too sweet (highly recommend) and only 5 minutes after that did we get the 808 plate and shrimp bowl. The beef rib we substituted for the chicken less a bit too sweet. My husband wasn't used to that and thought it could have been more savory. The garlic butter shrimp was slightly over cooked and didn't have nearly as much garlic or butter as it should have. Honest rating for the food would be 3/5 but definitely 5/5 for service! read more
Several people have commented that their sisig isn't "real" sisig. OK, that's true. However, also note that serving really authentic pork ear and chicken liver sisig in a mass-market, trying-to-crowd-please environment may not sell very well. I think the compromise they come up with -- essentially *only* crispy, sizzling pork belly accompanied by a slice of lemon and a red chili pepper (along with a nod to Hawaii with some furikake-topped rice and mac salad -- works extremely well, whatever you want to call it. The whole menu is delicious. Even their chicken adobo passes muster, and I'm very particular about doing it my own way at home. Tried the original halohalo and, thankfully, they didn't put the beans in there. IMO, the alterations they've made suit my Filipino-American palate just fine, and I think I'll be visiting again. read more
Tried the Enseamada Cafe for the first time this holiday weekend and I have got to say, this place has some serious "ono grindz!" It's Filipino food but masked behind an Aloha flair. In reality, most food that haole's think and/or call "Hawaiian" are actually from other Asian countries. In the case of the Enseamada Cafe, a lotta Filipino cuisine from the Adobo bowl, the lumpia (what haole's call egg rolls), Inihaw, Sisig, the Lechon (for you haole's: Pork Belly Bites), Halo halo (pronounced Ha-Low Ha-Low, not Hay-Low Hay-Low) and their name-sake, Enseamada (baked bread with a butter layer dipped in sugar). While the Filipino menu isn't as extensive as say, Fil-Cuisine, it has enough choices to give you a moment of pause. Each one needing to be seriously considered. In our case it was best to look at the menu ahead of time (online) so we could be ready once we were onsite. Good thing too because the crowd was nonstop and with limited seating in a small venue, timing was everything. So our order was the 808 Mix Plate, adobo bowl, pork belly bites, regular halo-halo, corn halo-halo, and three enseamada's (ube cream, ube cheese and salted egg). To say that everything was good is a serious understatement. Quality food and in Filipino portions. So if anything, it was too much food (never a bad thing). I was way full, and I never get that full at lunch. The lunch plates were very "Hawaiian" with the side of Hawaiian Mac Salad (which most respectable "Hawaiian" establishments include with all lunch plates or bowls and not as an extra purchase like at the Kona Kitchen), the rice was nicely seasoned with Furikake, and the meat was so good. The Chicken Adobo was excellent! Pinoy made for sure. Reminds me of my dad's adobo. The mix plate, I'm at a loss for words, except you've got to get it. So much meat, all cooked to perfection. The sides of lumpia shanghai, mac salad, green salad and rice helps breaking up all that meat. Pork, chicken, spam, shrimp, beef....it's all good! As for their halo-halo, one of the best I've ever had. It kinda reminds me of the shave-ice they serve at Matsumoto Shave Ice in Haleiwa on the North Shore (actually the Matsumoto Shave Ice is more like halo-halo than it is your typical "shave-ice"). It would've been better if we'd had a sunny 80°, 90° day as it's the perfect cool dessert in that kinda heat. That's why it's so popular in the P.I. (Philippine Islands, not Private Investigator). Service was no joke. As busy as they were, the speed and efficiency of the counter, kitchen and floor was spot on. It's wasn't an army of people, just a handful who were able to take orders and get them out without loss of quality and time , food was hot, orders were getting out. The only reason the line was so long was because people kept coming almost as fast as folks were getting their orders. I have seen less busy places with more staff that were not this efficient, so shame on those businesses and their staff. They had a kinda Costco efficiency. You know what I'm talking about. Now while you won't find Dinuguan or Loco-Moco on the menu, what they do serve up is no question quality as well quantity. You want an expanded "Hawaiian" or Filipino menu, I recommend Fil-Cuisine, Bobby's Hawaiian or Hawaiian Sun. As for the Enseamada Cafe, I think they are perfect and will DEFINITELY see me again. Next time I'm thinking I'll order take out and have lunch at Lighthouse Park in Mukilteo. read more

Oh my! This hole in the wall restaurant is a diamond in the rough. It is delicious with a unique twist of the Filipino cuisine. We especially enjoyed the beef inihaw (bbq). The heated ensamada just melts in your mouth. It is mouth watering good! I'll definitely be letting my family and friends know! The servers had a friendly smile too and were very kind. read more

What can i say, all i know is guarantee the chef and owners love cooking. My first time and i recommend everyone to come try eat at this restaurant. I ordered from telephone call in, menu has pictures and prices. My plate so huge island style, i couldn't resist sample some some in the parking lot. Omg. Flavors are one a kind, five stars quality. First i taste the Shanghai lumpia i must say has delicious flavor and cooked fresh crispy outside inside tender. Then mac salad got my attention so why not sample... lol yeah baby ono. Also get spam cooked all around solid, two fried shrimp, two scoops calrose rice my favorite, fresh green salad, and two big size rib bones very saucy. It was around 1pm and many inside customers. Located in an unassuming plaza in Everett. You place your order first prior to finding a seat. It can be a challenge finding an open table if you go during the busy times. We ordered the 808 plate with beef ribs and garlic noodles with chicken. Portions were big and the meat was tender. The garlic noodles didn't have a strong garlic flavor but was still tasty. I also tried their ube sweet cream coffee which was not overwhelmingly sweet which was appreciated. Could have used a stronger ube flavor. Lastly, we ended the meal with an ube halo halo. Price point was high ($10.50) but also probably hard to find in the area. read more
The service was wholesome and warm! I really appreciate the team allowing me to change my orders after being placed! The ambiance is neutral... a very comforting fast food set up style atmosphere. FYI The utensils and water are self service. The food, mind you, I just return from Manila and Palawan so my taste bud is quite critical and I'm searching for that authentic Filipino taste! The crispy sig sig was indeed crispy but I felt the sauce on it was overpowering and quite rich! The meaty portion of that pork belly was also crispy! I was looking for a more softer texture for this portion that contrast the crispy skin/belly. You will need a lot of rice to balance out the strong flavor of the crispy sig sig! The vinegar helps cut through the richness! As for the ube pancake.... The pancake was not fluffy or moist. It was a bit dense for me and the ube sauce was on the sweeter side. The sauce was also very thin... my last ube pancake experience was in Hawaii and an absolute delight. The sauce was slightly thicker and not too sweet. I like the macadamia nuts on the pancake as it adds a nice texture to the taste. read more

I knew I was getting chicken adobo bowl but he mentioned he loves the cheesy adobo bread, so I got both and they were sooo good. If you're around this area stop in and grab some great food. A delectable spot for Filipino Hawaiian style food. Not traditional, but absolutely delicious. So don't get your knickers in a bunch if you're an old school tito or tita ready to lay the smack down on inauthenticity. This isn't somewhere you go right after church or the airport, this is where you go for a quick bite that's fast, satisfying and colorful. Don't forget the halo halo, it's almost as, if not more, important as the main course. read more

The food was very good at a fair price and a very big portion. It may look small in the picture but trust me it feels endless when you are eating it. The service was a bit slow but I assume it's from the lack of workers since it's a small owned business. The setting of the place was really nice and modern and very island vibes. Food is Instagram-able. Sisig doesn't have the authenticity. It's basically pork belly pieces-that's it. The Ube pancake is as interesting and I ate several bites. I liked that it was drowning in ube. The color was super vibrant. I also tried the Hal Halo but it was ok. I couldn't get past the cornflakes but the flan on top was delicious! read more

Since I was traveling up to Everett, I decided to try a restaurant around the area. The first thing that came up was this restaurant: Filipino + Hawaiian fusion! Coming from Hawaii and feeling nostalgic, I had to check it out! It's located next to Razzals Bar & Grill and Touba Bakery in a small plaza off of Highway 99 in Everett. There's a parking lot with ample parking. My boyfriend and I got take out and shared their Inihaw Plate with Beef Ribs (extra $3) and Garlic Noodles. The food smelled soooo good when we went into the car with it. And the taste and flavors lived up to the smelled!The Inihaw Plate was HUGE especially with the beef ribs! The beef ribs were so big that one of the two pieces was sticking out of the takeout box. Crazy! The beef ribs were soooo tender that the meat practically (almost) fell off the bone. That's the best kind of ribs! They were suuuper tasty too! The marinate wasn't overwhelming and too salty. The accidental addition of the furikake from the rice gave a nice touch to it too. The mac salad was kind of meh. Not much flavor that I'm used to but helped balance the savory and saltiness of everything. The Garlic Noodles was packed into a big reusable takeout container. It didn't give a strong garlic flavor like how I'm used to with many places that make garlic noodles. The flavor was kind of subtle which didn't give much of a 'garlic noodle indication'. Not necessarily a bad thing as it was still addicting to eat. Definitely something I wouldn't be able to finish in one sitting either! I didn't really get much of a Filipino/Hawaiian vibe from the dishes we ordered, but they were both really good and addicting to eat! We also got five ensaymadas to bring home for our breakfast. We chose two ube overload, one halaya, one cheese, and one salted egg. The worker recommended the cheese and salted egg, so I'm curious to how they taste! One enseamada was $3.50 which was kind of pricey especially since they're on the "smaller" side compared to the ones I used to buy, but they looked amazing! The ube overload was uberly sweet. Sugar on top of sugar. Too much for me. But the cheese and salted egg ones were really good! The sweetness was balanced out by the saltiness. So glad I went with the worker's recommendation! A great place for some really good eats! The price for the amount of food we got was really worth it. Will be back in the future if I'm craving for some "local" foods. read more

I wish I was closer. Great mixture of island and Filipino cuisine. And the service was fast & friendly. I got a bit of everything, I got a coffee, halo halo, the mixed plate (woah!) and the garlic noodles with chicken. You won't be disappointed. The only suggestions I would give is the music was a little loud, especially for the tables under the TV. I also wish they had a comprehensive menu that included all the items they sold. I had no idea what was in their cold fridge, and drink menu was on one side of the register and the plates were on a banner on the left side. read more

Drove all the way from South Seattle for this one...and it was worth it! Pro Tip: Dont miss their Green Sauce! Order: 808 Mix Plate ($15.95) with Beef Ribs (+$3): There are two options for the ribs on this one, beef or pork. Highly recommend the beef ones. You'll get two ribs and they will fall off the bone! Also comes with lumpia, macaroni salad, fried shrimp, rice and side salad. Easily shareable. Ube Sweet Cream Ice Coffee - delicious, not too sweet - which is how I personally prefer it. Ube Halo Halo - Really good! And a solid dessert. The piece of flan that it's topped with was enough for us wanting to get a side of flan! Will be back. On a scale of 1-10, I'll give it an Aloha Food was of good portion and as much as I wanted to try everything, that's a reason for me to come back. Grill items were well marinated and cooked - and for a saucy guy like me, I loved it. I was also offered to get all meats (beef,pork,chicken) for $19, but I passed - shouldve just went for it. I haven't made a Yelp review in a while, but I had to make some time to do one for Emseamada. Upon walking in, the restaurant itself is cute & cozy. Tropical decor, island music playing, the vibe was vibin' Started with their Ube coffee, because when at a Filipino joint, its just mandatory, which to mention, was perfectly sweet & a little salty. Would definitely order again. We chose the 808 mix plate that came with a bbq rib, 2 pieces of bbq chicken thighs, a slice of spam, 2 lumpia, 2 pieces of fried shrimp, Mac salad some greens AND rice... that's a lot of food for 1 mixed plate! The rib was huge and charred to perfection. I love my bbq with some char! Chicken was marinated & flavorful. The Mac salad, you could taste that they used good quality Mayo, IYKYK.. for under $16, you cannot go wrong with the mix plate! We also ordered pork belly sisig. Absolutely delicious, we have been to a similar restaurant that served the meat all minced up into small pieces, not at Enseamada... huge fatty chunks of pork belly, crispy, and perfect. And I've saved the best for last y'all, these garlic butter noodles are not your average noodles with butter.... No ma'am, these were loaded with so much flavor. Generous amount of Parmesan & furikake on top. Everything blended together so well, a tad bit sweet, super garlicky.... Mmm, still daydreaming about them. The shrimp pieces were pretty big & very clean inside! That's an extra added bonus. If you order anything based off of this review, please do yourself a favor and get the noodles, you will not be disappointed! read more

Easy to find parking, no need to find street or parallel parking. It's located near other restaurants and stores. Very small place for the popularity. On a Saturday morning they had about 10 people lined up, and noticed another 10-20 customers while we were there had to take out since there was no place to dine. Great customer service. Staff was Filipino making it more authentic for the restaurant. Before we left, they asked how was everything. Garlic Noodles with Beef BBQ Ribs. Very rich in flavor. Can taste the garlic from the noodles. Delicious! As for the ribs, tender, juicy and fatty. Filipinos loves the taba. 9/10. Ube Pancakes with Macadamia Nuts. Amazing and very unique taste. The nuts is a must when ordering the dish. It adds a nice crunch to it making the taste more novel. 10/10 Overall grade 9/10 for there delicious dishes, great price for the amount served and unique taste. All it needs is a bigger place for people to dine especially during their rush hours. read more
