There aren't many reviews for this company, I looked, I swear! I found this site while hunting for those Uggs Lomel boots my daughter wanted for Christmas. They were sold out everywhere! Except this animal-named site charging triple the price, and that sketchy resale/auction site with different sellers and mostly shipping from China - no way! Then I found Englin's Fine Footwear after days of searching. I was nervous, never heard of them. Turns out they're a local Indianapolis company. They had three sizes left; my daughter's an 8.5, but coworkers said to size down. They had an 8. I was so happy, I ordered them after agonizing over whether the site and shoes were legit. I opened them right away - real Uggs, perfect quality! But then I worried they'd be too small. Everything I searched said to size up, and they were sold out by this time! I emailed customer service, freaking out, asking if they'd get more. They weren't sure but said I could return them within 365 days. Christmas morning, they fit perfectly! After dazzling them up, she wore them all day, then all day again last weekend. She says they're super comfy, no sore feet. It's her first pair of Uggs, and I think she's hooked. Great selection and most notable is that they consistently have intelligent, knowledgeable, experienced employees. Very busy on weekends, so we try to go during the week. My husband hates to shop, so I just take him to Englin's at Keystone Fashion Mall about once/yr and he gets everything he needs at once, from dress shoes, tennis shoes, comfort shoes for trade shows, and even slippers. It's a small store but they have it all, including the very latest styles and brands. Only shoe type they don't carry is women's dress shoes (high heels). It is the BEST store to go to if you have foot troubles; they have good recommendations & all the brands you see recommended online. When I went to the one at Hamilton town center I dealt with a not so nice manager on defected shoes so therefore I went to the Keystone at the Crossing's store and the assistant manager there was absolutely phenomenal and his whole team was phenomenal and they treated me with respect and did not talk down to me, so I highly recommend people going to the keystone at the crossing store read more

The manufacturer indicated I just had to return the shoes to the retailer and they would correct the issue. However, this retailer refused to support the process. I made a purchase online via PayPal, and was emailed that their "fraud dept" rejected my order and I would have to reorder through Paypal. I went back to their website and AMAZINGLY the size shoe I wanted is no longer available, nor other sizes that were previously available not even 20 min prior. After questioning was the REAL reason I wasn't able to complete the purchase due to availability, I was then told I can't make the online purchase at all! I asked what could be done for verification. No solid answer available. I then asked if they had the item in store and verification of availability, and correspondence stopped. Which had timely responses before. This all took place within a 2hr window. This place is worried about me being a scammer, but their actions are questionable. Buyer beware. I stand corrected, the item is available in 3 locations, low qty but not online?!?! I'm personally going to call the stores offered for verification. PIf you are a fan of Englin's Fine Footwear make the drive and go to the Hamilton Town Center Location or Castelton - don't waste your time at the Fashion Mall. If you can get the sales guy to get up out of the chair or away from behind the counter to wait on you then you have accomplished a lot. Don't dare ask a question or bother him to check for a size that requires him to do something other than sit or lean on counter. In fact I am not sure if he knows he is working in a shoe store. This is the type of place that can educate you on the many diffrent styles of shoes available and find one that you like within your price range. Stores like these are rare and they do their best to personaize their business. They have all 11 current Big Ten teams banners displayed in clever locations and some other shirts of colleges that would reflect their customers backgrounds as well (ie, Harvard, etc.) The service is personable and professional and attention to detail is of the utmost importance.
