I was looking at $$$ to get it towed to a shop just to get the problem checked, but then I found out that Equality Auto was a mobile mechanic van that came to you. For only slightly more $ for a diagnostic test than the lowest quote I got from auto shops in Everett, they came to me and saved me the towing cost, which made it a great value in the end (not to mention the time I saved by not having to leave the house or figure out care for my toddler). Trisha was able to fit me in to her schedule even earlier than she thought she'd be able to, and after determining the problem with the fuel injectors, she was able to order the parts and replace them in a timely manner. I walked into this shop hoping to get a new pin tumbler cylinder modified to fit an old lock. The…read moreshowcase in the front of the shop was full of futuristic-looking metal parts and I wondered if I'd come to the wrong place. The front office seemed a little too clean and the receptionist a little too pretty for my needs. I'd been expecting something a bit grubbier. Jon came out from the shop right away and allayed my concerns a little bit. He was jovial and had an awesome beard. I explained what I needed and he quoted me a price that was too high for me. I guess he was thinking to make one of those space-age parts. I balked at the price and he did some quick thinking to come up with a cruder solution that met my needs and was within my price range. The next day he had my lock ready for me right when he said he would. I was really impressed with how friendly and responsive they were. I hope I have cause to use them again.
