We have to thank Yelp for helping us find this Hidden Gem. We were looking for a small place just to grab a Sunday breakfast and endiro coffee turned up. Located right on the Riverwalk across from the casino this is a multi-level coffee shop where you cannot only sit upstairs or go downstairs to the seating area that has a coffee bar as well you can also sit outside on a 2 level deck, one of which is at River level along the path. They have a unique menu and unfortunately we made it there after the breakfast so we settled for lunch which we were disappointed until we had the sandwiches and the coffee. Being a coffee house they really know their stuff about making flavorful coffee. Their sandwiches have unique combinations and all of our choices we're amazing. Definitely will be back but this time we will walk the path with our dogs because they are very dog friendly. The staff was incredibly friendly the prices are fair and you can always find a way to get a 10% discount through many of their promotions including a Yelp check-in. It would be nice to go there on a Sunday morning and enjoy their French press coffee while sitting along the river. AURORA needed this place. There is no decent place within 5 miles of Aurora University to get coffee(sbux doesn't count for this one). This place is everything and more. Excellent coffee, cozy decor, art, patio seating, pleasant staff and delicious food. I literally inhaled my portobello sandwich while my friend loved her capresse sandwich. Coffee was so good that we took one to go as well as had with our food. Oh, and the veggie samosas are no joke. They were crispy with just the right filling, the way they are supposed to be. OMG good! A real gem of a small coffee shop with super tasty food. Had the avocado toast which was literally the best I've ever had in my life. Lovely bread rubbed with garlic, small amount of avocado and chilli flakes topped with a fried egg. Shakes were wolfed down in five mins and of course the Ugandan coffee is excellent. This coffee house is great. I love the old building the bright colors the artwork the imports from Africa are wonderful. Everyone that works there is friendly. There's a lot of privacy if you need it there's a lounge downstairs and it's right on the river. I mean in the summertime it's just the place to be to have a nice cool coffee. I love it. read more

I've been going to endiro for 2 years ( to where I see a change in staff lol) ordering almost the exact same thing (avocado toast w egg) Today I went and unfortunately what I got might have been the worst thus far. I waited for an hour (literally) bc of the possible shortage of staff which I understood and was patient my server was really nice about it. But it's not fair to be provided with bad food after the hour. The bread and avocado were hard ( really it was no exaggeration) and i didn't get the ingredients that comes w it ( slice tomato and basil). I realize I'll get some food that may not taste the same but the issue is if the food had been bad consistently which it has. today nailed the worse food. Please please please be mindful not to rush w the food and check those kinds of food that are not ready to serve like the avocado. I appreciate the atmosphere of the shop and absolutely love the story and mission behind the place. Every drink I have tried has been wonderful; the baristas really do seem to put a lot of work into each and every drink. My one complaint is some of the juices are not completely fresh and use added concentrated juices. The food is alright but is a bit pricey for what you get. I would also really like to see more vegetarian options and the menu definitely lacks when it comes to gluten free options... as in the only gluten free option is a snickerdoodle hidden by the front register. There also seem to be issues with items running out which is a bit frustrating. The place is newer but the staff still seem disorganized and under trained... Basically the coffee is the reason to stop by! It's some of the best coffee you'll have but you have to be willing to wait for it! I recently went with 3 friends and everyone ordered the same thing but they still forgot to make one which made our "quick trip" a lot longer! read more

I was born and raised in Aurora, so I always like to see old downtown buildings revived. I recently visited Endiro with my boyfriend for breakfast. I ordered a latte and eggs with a waffle. First, the food was great! My eggs over easy were done to perfection and the syrup with the waffle was extremely tasty. The atmosphere at Endiro is what is really amazing. The old brick walls and restored building are beautiful. I can't wait to visit Endiro to try their lunch dishes. The wait staff was very helpful in making recommendations as well. read more

It's a shame I have to give this place one star, I should give it zero since I never got to try anything. On 2/27/2019, a friend and went for lunch during work. We walked in and were told we could sit anywhere. There was one table that could sit 4-6 open but had dirty cups on one side of the table, since we only needed two seats we took that table. After a wait of near 10 minutes a server gave us menus but didn't say anything to us and did not take drink orders. After another 5-10 minutes of no one acknowledging us we left as our lunch hour was about half over. There appeared to be two servers, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. After we sat down the table behind us opened up but quickly filled with a group of ladies. After they had been there about 15 minutes One of those ladies went to the counter to say that hadn't been acknowledged, still no one came to their table or ours. I loved the atmosphere. It was warm, cozy, and friendly place. The staff greeted my husband and I as soon as we entered. My husband had the grilled cheese sandwich, and I had the caprese sandwich, both were very good. The are right next to the river and across the street from Bally Doyle's. I've been to Endiro various times over the last year and love it! They have amazing coffee. They have the best americanos and if I ever want one I tend to go to Endiro. I've also tried their breakfast and lunch menu and enjoyed the food. The eggs and toast is a great breakfast. And I love the fact that they have a unique menu. read more

Checked out this place for the first time earlier today. There is 90 minute parking out front which is nice, but rushes you if you're trying to get a lot of work done. The place is really cool. The basement a couch and "hipster" like art displayed. I ordered a Sticky Bun Latte, that was alright and came out to around $5. Wasn't the best tasting latte I've had but the presentation was great they also give you a complimentary snickerdoodle (again, cute but not super tasty). This place is nice for lunch with a friend but I wouldn't recommend it for studying unless you like a lot of noise. Felt like a cafe first and a coffee shop second, so people were talking loudly. I would go back to relax but probably not to study. read more

I've left twice after waiting over 30 minutes for a server to come take my order, on days where it wasn't even visibly busy. oh and if a regular comes in after you they will get taken care of while you remain ignored anyway. New place and they still seem to be working out the kinks but the coffee is good.. excellent iced coffee drinks, and the place is really nice. It's right on the bike trail with outdoor seating along the river, and has two levels. Had breakfast once and was not so sure about the place, but had lunch recently and was wowed by the sandwich. Samosas as a side was awesome, nice and spicy, except for that one bite that was a pocket of spices, that was terrible. I hope this place keeps getting better as Aurora needs more spots like this one to bring the downtown back. Suggestions to get to five stars: No wonder bread on the breakfast sandwiches (English muffin? Croissant?, Sour Dough?... but not wonder bread, add a few more savory items to the breakfast baked goods (too much emphasis on sweet items), and think quality control, nobody wants to bite right into a pocket of spices that did not get mixed in...especially right after saying they were the best samosas they have had! Very cute coffee joint, Comfortable vibe, good prices, sweet staff. Only thing i was disappointed in was that they had advertised they'd be open late and have student discounts during finals week for college students...well with Waubonsee being literally a block away, one would assume it applied for Waubonsee students, both the school and Endiro are in downtown aurora within 2minutes of each other. Well apparently they did not have Waubonsee students in mind at all...idk what school they were catering to but they didn't even clarify on their flyers. They ended the extended hours before Waubonsee even had their finals lol Just didn't make any sense to me. Why not have that promo for the students that are most likely majority of your customers? Or specify next time. And keep your facebook page updated with those types of promos and details bc it wasn't anywhere to be found, not even on the website itself. the costumer service was extremely slow and unsatisfactory. when we arrived there was no one in line before us but it took over 20 minutes to receive our drinks. the workers were extremely grumpy and not very welcoming. the drinks were pretty good once they remade the one they got incorrect but the service truly ruined the experience. read more
