Enclave at Box Hill is tucked away and quiet. I loved the walking trails, creeks, and dog park on site! My grands absolutely loved the pool. My apartment was immaculate and had plenty of room, including a wonderful walk-in closet. I can't say enough about Barbara and Jackie, who made my move in (and out) easy. This place is like walking into heaven, just picture walking into heaven but real life. Aww beautiful. The first day we walked in it was beautiful, the office was well decorated, free starbucks coffe and hot chocolate, the club house was amazing, they have a computer area with a fireplace, this is by far the best buisiness center i have ever seen. Top of the line apple mac pcs, fully equipped gymn, place to play pool, hold meetings, and did i tell you showers where you can clean up after your workout and an area to put the kids while you do?and its free. Their pool is beautiful, the only thing i can compare it to is a mini amazument park pool. My kids will love this place in the summer i cant wait. Our leasing agent was mrs barbara. She was amazing, treated us so well and we felt right at home. She asked us what we wanted, showes us the apartment, the hallways smelt amazing, not sure what they use but it smells amazing! The apartment itself was everything we dreamed off, wall to wall carpet, wooden floors in some areas, marble countertops, stainless steel appliancea, garden tubs, lights everywhere in the house. This place took our breathe away. You can tell management put their time into getting this place together. Their maintenance comes out before 24 hrs if you have an emergency, there is front door trash pickup 2x a week. We were soo happy we applied the same day and signed our lease within a week. We have kids and it was very important for us to feel at home before going anywhere so they definetely met our expectations. I am someone who is very particular abt everywhere we go. I check reviews and give honest feedback to help others do the same for theirs. The day we moved in, omgg... they had treats and notes all over the apartment for us, snack treats in the fridge, papertowel, soap and a sponge with a note by the kitchen sink, samples in the bathroom, a duckie and a towel near the shower in the master, even a sample laundry detergent in the laundry room. This place is georgeous, the only thing i didnt like was i didnt have a balcony, but the fact that we had everything else we could possible have , made it worth over looking to me. So far this was a great decision. We moved in and are excited about our stay here. They worked with us by offering signup deals, it is extremely amazing how far they were willing to go to make us stay, and i cant believe the price.. Im surprised this place isnt full yet. Crystal treats the tenants needs as her own. Follow up on any concerns. She promotes a community. The maintenance staff responds quickly and efficiently. Charley and the other fellows are friendly. Hubby and I have lived here for over a year now and are happy to report that this is a community that we happily call home. We were concerned about apartment living after becoming empty-nesters and downsizing, but as new residents to MD, the transition at the Enclave has been amazing! The convenience of the elevator and valet trash are a great asset as well as the location, with easy access to I-95, shopping, restaurants and my favorite-Wegman's! The management and maintenance teams have been phenomenal and have always shown a personal interest in making sure that any issues that may arise are taken care of quickly. The Bozzuto group have done a great job in the planning of this community with the many amenities that are offered. (Pool, firepit, outdoor grills, exercise/yoga room, pub room and business center) We always look forward to the fun monthly social events planned for the residents! read more

I would not suggest moving here. I'm still stuck in an 18 month lease and I have never been so unhappy living somewhere. I constantly have to call the leasing office about noice complaints to which nothing ever gets resolved. This place has paper thin walls where you can hear every conversation from your neighbors. Our appliances constantly need to be fixed because it's falling apart. Every time Someone in the in the building flushes their toilet I hear all the septic tanks / pipes rattling and making noises and it frightens you when you don't expect it. I've been looking for other places to live because I rather pay $5000 to move out of this place than stay here any longer. I really wanted to love living here because I fell inlove with the place and how beautiful it looked. But after being here a few months I'm realizing it's show for show and it's not all it's cracked up to be. I am writing this review because I'm tired of all the problems and someone else shouldn't have to be this u lhappy living somewhere that's suppose to be home. I was just woken up by loud maintenance in the apartment next to me after I worked an over night shift because he is slamming on the walls behind my bed. When I asked him to please work on another part of the apartment because I haven't slept and he is slamming on my wall. He smirked at me and walked away to which again I had to call the leasing office again. Update: my garbage disposal still smells really bad and I've called maintenance many times to get it fixed. my younger sister came over last night and told me she had to leave because the living room smelled so bad like a dirty fish tank. I've tried everything to get the smell out and all maintenance has said is to put vinegar down the drain which also didn't work. May 5th couldn't come sooner. Update: THEY ARE ALLOWING RESIDENTS TO HARRASS ME AND TOUCH MY VEHICLE. I cried to a manager to do something about it and they said I'm sorry there is nothing we can do. They lied and told us they would send an email out to the residents to stop and now decided they don't want to. THIS IS NOT A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE!!!! I have never in my life had to put in so many maintenance requests at a place before. Over 30+ maintenance requests in less then a year. Pathetic just wrote in another one even though maintence was just here a few days ago for the same issue. Maintenance has to come to my apartment at least once a week for something. I visit this apartment complex frequently as my brother and his wife reside here. Let me tell ya, standard of living knocks of the socks off tri-state areas folks like me! The place reeks of luxury and convenience and all for a middle class income. The 2 bedroom apartments are quite large with very high ceilings. The layout is perfect for entertaining as the kitchen and living is one large open space. Every common area is pristine and feels like a hotel. The sales office leads into a weight room, conference room and entertainment/ lounge area. Then best of all, there is a really large community pool that never gets really crowded during the summer. If I wanted to live in a community such as this in NJ/NY area, I'd have to earn as part of the top 1%... sadly, that isn't happening anytime soon .. :( read more

We moved in this spring while transitioning out of the military . We were overseas so we relied heavily on management to send photos and answer questions . We rented sight unseen and I can tell you without hesitation that they have the absolute BEST management team ! Gina hands down gives the best customer service and was super responsive and answered all of my questions . We absolutely LOVE this property . The townhouse was spotless , the lawns are manicured beautifully, the staff and maintenance are friendly and professional . While this isn't our forever home I do feel like it is like a resort vacation and perfect for us during this transition . They have community grills , a great pool that is family friendly , trails with wildlife and perfect for pets. They also have trash valet ... if you don't have it now you need this in your life Gosh I could go on and on .... If you have to be in this area . I highly recommend this place . You also have Wegmans , HomeGoods , Old Navy , Conrad's seafood super close !! I mean what else would you need ? A dog park? Yes they have that too seriously though what are you waiting for ? Not really luxury apartments. It may look fancy but the quality of everything is cheap. Thin walls, can't cook without smoke alarms going off, childlike toy dishwasher, garbage disposal always smells like a dirty fish tank and when you keep telling them they just say pour vinegar down it..are you kidding me? I shouldn't have to go out and purchase vinegar because your maintenance team can't resolve the issue etc. Shall I go on? *UPDATE* Can I get some hot water I mean come on I pay $1800+ a month for an apartment that constantly runs out of hot water. I'm running my bath water, mind you it's on hot all the way, I go to dip my foot in the water and it's like Antartica. DO NOT MOVE HERE SAVE YOUR MONEY. Everything breaks and needs replacing every week I swear to you that maintenance team pretty much lived in my apartment. Want to know why? Because they use the cheapest materials they possibly can to build the buildings and I'm sure the townhomes are built the same exact way. CHEAP. thank God I moved out! Best decision of my entire life! I was MISERABLE here!! Only paying $2,250/m for a huge single family house with a pool right here in Abingdon. Don't be a sucker, keep looking! Beware: The place looks nice, but they do not provide good service. I've been here for one year, and the place is deteriorating fast. I've had three appliance issues, and the average repair time is 2 weeks. The electricity often fails in my apartment, and the management continues to be 'aware of the issue'. Many rooms do not come with lighting fixtures, and the management makes you pay to install them (or wait 4 months before they 'schedule' you). They allow the dogs to swim in the pool, which might be a safety issue. The management actually calls the police if you make a complaint about their service. I've reached out to Buzzuto's main office, and they too do not respond to apartment issues. At this point, I may need to contact Harford health department, since there is a festering mold smell from the dishwasher, which, although reported over one week ago, is not a priority. read more

Fabulous club house at Enclave Apartments at Box Hill. They have a nice pool, fitness center, lounge with complimentary coffee and tea, and a business center. I would love to start off with the positives. Jasmine is an absolute pleasure to work with. Very helpful and knowledgeable and an overall nice person. The property is beautiful and reasonably priced for the area. My husband and I are moving from out of state. We have not the best credit, but a good income and excellent renting history in California. We applied for a place, and they require $300. $25 per applicant and $200 to hold the apartment. Apparently we got denied because the third party that approve or denied is heavily credit based. So our low 600s we're a no go. However they would allow with a. Co signer however since were out of state we would have to pay a full 2 MONTHS rent as he deposit. So we had a relative with higher credit and an extremely high income apply as a co signer. We called to check the status of the application and the co signer was denied. This co signer could easily pay for a years worth of rent in one month, and had a higher credit, and has owned a house for 9 years but they were still denied. To top everything off they send back a check via snail mail that will take two weeks to get back. I know that some other places have this policy, but I'm sorry.... apparently this place is looking for credit above 800 and an income big enough to provide for a family of 17. if you're looking to rent here make sure your credit is pristine or you already live in the state. Apparently Californians are NOT welcome. Also, almost every dog except small yippie dogs are not accepted. read more

We have lived in our apartment at Enclave Boxhill for about a year now and we love it here. We actually just renewed our lease to stay for another year! After living in other apartments in the area, I can attest that the buildings, amenities and service can't be beat anywhere else in the Bel Air area. The location is also perfect - close to Wegmans, shopping, restaurants and I-95. We have a one-bedroom unit and it is very spacious. The loft gives us very high ceilings and it feels more like a townhome than an apartment. Valet trash service is included and they come around every sun-thurs evening to pickup trash and recycle right at the door, no need to carry bags outside. Each building also has key-fob entry, a mail room with package drop boxes and a call box where you can use your cell phone to allow visitors into the building. The amenities are wonderful- we frequently use the pool, firepit and grill area. There is also a pub room for parties and a gym with cardio machines, weights and a yoga room. A business center is also available to use for meetings or working and studying from home. The neighborhood is also very pet friendly. We just got a puppy, and he loves the grassy fields and the walking trail. There are also puppy cleanup stations around the property to make waste disposal easier. Almost all of the neighbors in my building have dogs, so it's been a great place to socialize him. The biggest difference between Enclave and other apartments in the area is the Bozzuto management team, their service has been phenomenal. Susie took us on hard-hat tours while the buildings were still under construction and helped us pick out the perfect apartment. Jenn, Krystal and Aly are also very friendly and helpful. Johnny and the maintenance team quickly respond to calls for service and keeps our apartment looking brand new. The Bozzuto team also hosts fun resident events a few times each month. My favorites are trivia, pool parties, yoga, yappy hours, and massages & mimosas. These events build a strong community and have helped us turn neighbors into good friends. Talk about WOW factor, the Enclave has it all. Living here has been a great experience from moving in(welcome bag included) to currently living here. High end features and appliances with granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom and a full size laundry room. The girls in the leasing office are so nice and friendly, anytime I have a question or problem it is answered and resolved by the time I walk back to my apartment. They have events once a week from orioles watch parties, trivia night, yoga on the lawn, breakfast on the go(my favorite), and other exciting resident events. I am extremely happy living here. My fiancee lives at another Bozzuto property in DC area and she comments how much better the Enclave is compared to where she lives. I've been a resident of the Enclave for a month and could not be more pleased. The community is beautiful, well maintained, and has a gorgeous club house which boasts a number of amenities. There's the expansive, beautifully designed club room, which includes a gas fireplace, ample seating, a bar area, full kitchen, and a Starbucks coffee station. The club house also includes a pub room (with two flat screen TV's, a gas fireplace, a bar area & billiards table), a fully equipped fitness center, and a conference room/business center. Behind the club house is a massive swimming pool with a dedicated area for children, a playground, and a fire pit. What more could one ask for? The apartment buildings themselves are well constructed, (most are elevator served), and the units include many upscale/high end finishes and features. I love the stainless steel appliances, (gas stove!), and granite countertops. Ample storage/cabinet space, too. Oh, and I can't forget the gas fireplace (top floor units, only). That thing throws some serious heat - perfect for chilly nights! One of my favorite service amenities is valet trash, which is offered Sunday-Thursday. Put your trash can, (which they provide you), outside of your front door between 6 and 8pm and by 8:15 the trash "magically" disappears! Very convenient if you're on the top floor and don't want to drag your trash all the way down and outside to the dumpster - or, if you're just lazy, (i.e. me). With regards to management, The Bozzuto Group is an industry leader in luxury real estate management for a reason. The team at the Enclave has displayed nothing short of exemplary professionalism & service, and has provided top notch attention to detail. They make it their mission to create a community environment and build comradery amongst residents by arranging monthly events (wine tastings, trivia nights, pub & paint sessions, etc.) which have been very enjoyable! Their service team is excellent as well and provides quality work and professional results in a timely manner. Lastly, the location of the Enclave couldn't be more convenient. Less than one mile to I-95, right next to the YMCA and across the street from Wegman's, LOFT, Old Navy, Home Goods, DSW, and a number of great restaurants and service amenities. Additionally, Walmart, Target, Petsmart, Lowes, BJ's, & Regal Cinemas are located within two miles. Everything you need, right in your back yard. Lived here for a little while now. IMO, this place isn't as great now as it was when I first moved in. There's construction taking place to add the final few buildings to the community. This place is packed already at 95% occupancy. I can only imagine what the pool and grill areas will be like with hundreds of additional people living here next year. Don't get me wrong, the amenities are very nice here, as is the staff. Always friendly. It's just that IMO, the quality of the residents and their lack of class or common courtesy that's the issue. You'll find the same group of people taking over the grill areas and fire pit on most evenings...DEFINITELY on weekends. They're loud, obnoxious, trashy and usually drunk. There are people here who are always trying to sell you their professional services and have children that are running and screaming everywhere unattended. IMO, the one thing I can say about the management is that they should do a better job of allowing others to use these areas from time to time while maintaining the rules for everyone to enjoy Enclave peacefully or having security patrol to make sure people are acting appropriately. Most people are nice here, but there are definitely cliques and gossip, much like high school. Again, Enclave and the maintenance of the community are great, but some of the residents make the experience of living here lack luster. read more
