i have lived in so many apartment buildings over the years but Louisa is the absolutely the most phenomenal apartment/leasing manager I have seen,. She completely went above and beyond for me when i needed an apartment super last minute in Baltimore! she met me early in the morning and gave my dad and I a tour, she is so responsive and immediately answers all my texts and questions no matter the time of the day! she even went so far to help refer me to other tenants for furniture as my stay in Baltimore was so short term so did not make sense to buy all new furniture!! She is literally the best! The apartment itself is VERY VERY NICE! super clean and well maintained. They always are super on top of answering all my questions are the front desk as well! and its nice how secure the apartment is! the garage is also very secure which was very important to me as I am paranoid about my safety! i would highly recommend living here. It is a 1 minute walk to the beautiful harbor! such a great walk and convenient location NOW that it is warm outside, they have a VERY beautiful patio and pool and grilling area! i am obsessed!!! :) it is so well maintained and the pool is salt water and heated- fancy!! read more

I have lived in several high-rise, luxury buildings in different cities, and I have to say that I have never encountered such rude management with poor communication skills. My guess is that it's hard to attract highly qualified employees to work here, so you end up hiring people with below-average skills and consequently with management like this one. I lived in this building for 2 years and I am happy I am moving out. Here are the other aspects: -Constant wind noise from the vents -Poor and very slow maintenance -Water takes a long time to reach a warm temperature in summer -Floor smells like trash for a day or two for an unclear reason -I was able to hear my neighbour's conversation every night. We have watched as this new apartment in the Inner Harbor was being built. So, we were delighted to see it on the Doors Open Baltimore list of places. The building is imposing - it has 44 stories with commanding views of the Inner Harbor. There are 394 apartments. The ground floor offers retail/restaurant space. What was truly impressive was the 7th floor with 40,000 sq. ft. of amenities including an outdoor park with city views, pool, sundeck, BBQ area, outdoor bar area, fitness center, computer stations, board rooms, dining room for residents use with a kitchen and resident lounges with fireplaces. The views from every window looking out over the Inner Harbor were breathtaking. read more

Moving from Seattle to Baltimore was a challenge in itself but looking for a place that I can work from home and grow my network since I was new to the City, was a whole other situation. I viewed 7 other properties before stumbling across 414 Light Street. I was looking for a community and a place where I would be safe. I decided to call and schedule an in person tour. I chatted with the leasing agent, Louise, several times before coming in to tour. When I arrived for the tour, I met Louise and it felt like home. It was the best welcome I received when touring properties. She answered all of the questions I had about the property. I told her I would think about it and be in touch. After leaving the property, Louise was instrumental in helping me figure out what I wanted to do. It took me 2 weeks to make a decision about where I wanted to move. I came back and toured the property once more before making a decision. Louise followed up with me everyday for 2 weeks (not in a weird way, more like a friend). She asked me what was important to me, what I needed, what my apprehensions were, etc... it was her due diligence as being consultative that made me choose to move to 414 Light Street. After making the decision to move to 414, we looked at floor plans and Louise was honest with me about each floor plan. She asked me what was important for me in an apartment, especially since I was working from home. I was able to pick the best floor plan that best benefited me. It has been 3 months since I have moved in and I absolutely love it! It really is a community. Everyone is very nice and social. Louise does a great job at introducing you to other people that is in the building. I have met so many people because of her introductions. I have lived at 414 for about three years now and have had several, recurring issues. These issues have persisted enough to warrant an early lease termination due to inhabitable living conditions. Management has not expressed any remorse, nor taken responsibility for their lack of building maintenance; they only care about money, not their residents. Please note - I'm speaking solely based on my own experiences, but I know for a fact that I am not the only resident who feels this way. I have had several insect infestations in my unit, maintenance requests, and the problem keeps recurring. They "fix" the problem temporarily, just to reappear the next week. I've had to follow up with my request multiple times before I get any response. It's gotten to the point where I'm not able to work on my laptop, cook, eat, or use my bathroom without a bug disturbing me. It is degusting. I don't keep trash in my trash can BECAUSE of this. One staff member told me that I have one of the cleanest units at 414, so the problem does not lay with me. On one of my most recent requests, I specifically say that I am no longer comfortable with their staff entering my unit due to COVID and they didn't honor this. I've had management knock on my door at inappropriate hours and/or during the workday. At first, they told me the problem was due to a vacant unit and they needed to flush the drains, and next, they told me it's because my AC unit hasn't been maintained (and should be done annually). Obviously, there's some bigger issue here. I had to leave my apartment for 5+ weeks because it has not been livable, just to return to a fly-infested apartment. It is not worth the money, time, emotional stress to live here. They are trying to suck every penny out of me because of THEIR shortfalls and lack of responsibility; it's downright disturbing. I would not recommend living here. The staff was not COVID conscious or safe at all. We came for a viewing and, from the future residents parking, saw no one in the office was wearing a mask. When spotted one person pulled it on, another when we came to the door, two more never put theirs on, inexplicably. We were interested in a luxury building with a luxury experience. It's the little things that you pay the premium for. Why would you want to live somewhere that is not providing the basics of health and safety and trust them to manage sanitizing common spaces, enforcing policy with visitors, etc. during a pandemic? The majestic 44 story showcase (tallest building in the state of MD.) is an urban cosmopolitan dream. Great floor plans, the views are incredible and the recreation room is stellar. The pool area with the jumbo TV is perfect for watching baseball, football & basketball games. It's location is minutes away from the "Charm'tastic Mile" & Inner Harbor. Outdoor wind blows into the units through exhaust vents, causing a surprisingly loud and consistent whistling noise; imagine a boiling tea kettle that you can't turn off; management was well aware of this construction flaw (they had already remedied other residents' units) and still took over 3 months to resolve this issue for me with not so much as an explanation or apology for the delay; pretty pitiful for "luxury living"..... the wind noise is only the most major of a number of other engineering oversights This is a 4-star building with 2-star management at 5-star prices. Paying for the most expensive building in the area, but having the above cons, gets old rather quickly. The views are simply unreal! I love that they have a Zen-type room complete with a fireplace to relax and unwind at the end of a busy day. They even have a massage room in house where you can schedule a massage treatment at the last minute. Not to mention the complementary yoga classes and free breakfast on Saturday mornings. Being a huge Ravens fan I love being able to watch the games on the ginormous big screen outside while also being able to look into M&T Bank Stadium. Agree with the other recent reviewer. My views of the building are drastically different pre- and now post-COVID. The building does seem to be plagued by ongoing maintenance issues - the complete water shutdown amid the pandemic was utterly unacceptable and perfectly avoidable. HVAC issues are ongoing. Cleanliness - The building isn't nearly as clean as it used to be in many aspects. There is frequent debris in elevators and hallways... discarded gloves, masks, etc. are common in the elevators and halls. The carpeting in halls has become increasingly stained by who knows what. I don't remember the last time I saw them cleaning and addressing these issues like they did before. I would like to think that they would over-clean during the pandemic, but it seems like the opposite has happened. Elevators - there are only four and there are no separate service cars for the entire 43 floor building. It's ridiculous that they take up to two cars of the four during the day to allow move-ins and outs, leaving the remaining two cars to serve the entire 43 floors. How can you have social distancing when people are packed into elevators that take minutes and minutes to arrive? Amenities - They began to reopen some amenities slowly after the state/local stay at home orders were lifted. However, it's nearly July and the pool is nowhere near opening due to "lifeguard issues." Management should've had a plan in place, ready to go for when the restrictions were lifted. They had three months. Apparently, there was no plan, and it shows. No credit was offered for reduced amenities that were closed for months. Events, Activities - As the previous reviewer mentioned, the lifestyle coordinator left abruptly. We've had a significant decrease in events and activities. Overall, it just isn't worth the extreme premium to live here. If you're going to charge sky-high rent, the building better be close to perfect. It is far from it. read more

These reviews sound bogus because they're all so positive and happy and have so many exclamation points, but BELIEVE ME, living at 414 Light Street really is that awesome. Everything the other reviewers are saying is true: the location is perfect, our views are amazing and unique. The commons floor is *sick*, and everyone who lives here is just great. The building regularly puts on (free) events where we get together, mingle, drink, and hang out. And we randomly find our way to the commons floor and just chill with each other. I really enjoy my neighbors (and I generally hate people). Not to mention the staff! I love them! Every single one of them works every single day to make sure you're happy and comfortable. And we have services to go along with that. It really does feel like 5-star hotel living. I love being on vacation everyday lol. As for the cost, it's only marginally more than some other places downtown, but it's miles better than any other place you could possibly live. (Legit, our pool is waaaaaaaay better than the Four Seasons'.) And with all the extras you get, the rent is absolutely justified; I was surprised that it was actually in my budget once I got the full rundown of services and amenities. If you're considering living at 414 Light, I would highly recommend connecting with Louise in the Leasing Office. I usually don't take the time to write reviews, but Louise stood out to me and my wife as the epitome of customer service, and her efforts need to be recognized!! We were blown away by how thoughtful, thorough, and honest she was from start to finish. It quickly became clear to us that Louise operates with unmatched levels of energy and intentionality, and as newcomers to Baltimore we felt instantly at ease. Pandemic and winter snowstorms aside (both of which made moving right now very difficult!), we had a fairly complicated move/transition to the Charm City. But even before visiting the property, Louise was incredibly helpful in narrowing down which units to view. I've never been so informed by a video tour of a property prior to visiting it! Even during the process of moving in and getting settled, my wife and I both have felt we've had an advocate in Louise whenever we've had a question or needed help navigating how to get our needs met. She went above and beyond to ensure a smooth transition into our new home. If you're considering newer luxury buildings in Baltimore, then 414 Light will essentially sell itself. However, there's no good replacement for feeling as though all of your needs have been met as a new customer. Louise has an incredible capacity for customer service, and it's very clear she really loves what she does! After looking around a few places, I came across 414 light street and instantly knew thats where I should be. I was scheduled to tour with someone but I had a last minute change of plans and was scheduled to tour with Lousie. At the moment I did not know what that meant long term, but one month later, I am thankful for that change. Louise was very helpful since the day of tour and helped me through the whole process. I can comfortably reach out to her and she will help as much as she can. For someone who is always running around with a never ending list of things to do, Lousie helped make sure I was on top my things before moving in. Everyone in the building has a positive and welcoming attitude. The whole building feels like your home, not just your apartment. I have made some friends and hope to see more people once the weather gets better. read more

Read the low reviews!! especially around HVAC and structural issues in these apartments! Overall I think the building is beautiful. Some of the staff truly go out of their way to assist and the amenities are nice, and good security--only reason it gets stars. However be warned that you would have to sacrifice those good things for issues like your washer and dryer sounding like it's fighting the wall during the spin cycle, without overloading and probably waking up your neighbor, or the biggest issue the HVAC-- more on that in a moment. Moving from NYC I expected the typical noises such as the ambulance and city vehicle noises and hearing my neighbors in the hallway. I occasionally hear my upstairs neighbor if they drop something, their dog is near the window barking, or the next door neighbor laughing but nothing I didn't expect. Be prepared to hear the wind outside if it's windy and no, whatever another reviewer said about not hearing the noise of the streets is untrue, you can hear it, but again I think this is expected in the city and livable. Also don't expect any big pots or pans to fit in your impractically sized kitchen cabinets, maybe they are differently sized in the penthouse styles? It is parking garage madness during games and events near the harbor, be sure to look all ways when turning the corners. Structurally, you will hear weird whistling sounds from your bathroom and kitchen fan if they are both not on at the same time, and sometimes you can hear your upstairs neighbor flush. The worst has been HVAC if you are unfortunate to have a unit in your bedroom you are screwed. It gets extremely cold or hot and blows directly on your face no matter how much you move the vent. The units and wall area that it sits in is crazy noisy. MANY units are known to have loud clicking or mental banging sounds almost like a spoon hitting a glass for the entire day and night! Yes you will wake up during the night because of it, you might actually never be able to sleep in your bedroom again. Also note that if you attempt to get out of you lease after having no resolution to your HVAC nuisance, you will be told your issue is minor and you can't leave, guess you have to deal...So make sure you get an ambien prescription when you move in.. you will need it.. Be prepared for management to let you know they think you are sensitive to the noise and therefore you should buy multiple white noise machines that will not drown out this extremely unusual, excessive sound. Also any recorded evidence that you share with management is apparently not usable since it can be manipulated including video which can apparently make the noises sound louder then they really are... So you are out of luck with any evidence or facts. Gaslighting 101... If you tour the actual unit you are interested in try to do so early AM or evening that's when my HVAC unit goes crazy, and be sure you spend time wherever the HVAC is so you can determine if you will deal with noises. Turn on the bathroom fans in the units open the window to hear the forced air whistling sound coming from that vent. The last few things are manageable I believe but the HVAC is where you will suffer. In any case, like I've said, great amenities to make up for the fact that you will pay a hefty price for the structural issues, and the cause of those issues will be downplayed. It's quite unfortunate because it really is a lovely building with nice views. read more

The staff in this building are the best, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. The lifestyle events, yoga classes and other amenities are also wonderful, especially the pool and views! Moving in was simple plus the building's mobile app makes it easy communicate with staff about maintenance and access for guests/dog walkers. And it's great place to live without a car - easy to grab public transit (the free bus stops outside), bike or walk to what you need. Ramen shop downstairs is like an extra bonus amenity! read more

From start to finish, our stay was a 5-star experience. Let's start with the customer service. Our family lives there and we visited them and stayed at the guest suite. We were greeted with smiles from the Lifestyle Concierge, who offered help with our bags. Garrett and the Lifestyle Managers provided excellent service and was extremely accommodating throughout our entire stay. Finally, on our last day, we had a great dinner at the Japanese restaurant. Best sushi and ramen ever!!! The atmosphere is fully designed to put you in vacation mode. The gym was fantastic and exceedingly adequate and did include free weights (dumbbells and kettle bells). At checkout, there were no hidden surprises. All in all, an amazing experience. A stark difference in view on this building pre- and post-COVID. If you look at all of the positive reviews on here, they're unfortunately now stale. 414 is far from the "luxury" experience that it used to be. Pre-COVID it was about a 3.5/4. The building is beautiful, has a gorgeous view on the harbor side, amenities are great when you can actually use them, and the events were awesome before the planner quit. The things I didn't like about the building were (1) location - it's in a total food dessert. You have to walk at least 15 minutes to get to decent restaurants that isn't a tourist trap in the harbor. This part of town is totally deserted at night. (2) Poor construction/materials, particularly considering these units are supposed to be "luxury" - there's a howling noise that all of the units get whenever it's windy (which is frequent) because of the way that they set up the ventilation. When I reached out to management about it they said it was a known. fixable issue and put a maintenance request in - it took maintenance over a week to actually respond. I've also had numerous issues with my HVAC unit that took months to resolve, where it would constantly wake me up with loud noises multiple times every night. I've heard from numerous residents and the maintenance guys who attempted to fix it that HVAC issues are common throughout the building. My rating is a 1 to reflect the abysmal way management has handled shelter in place orders, communications with residents, and their inability to reopen in a timely manner after restrictions were lifted. An example of how poorly they're handling things - we had our water shut off for 8 hours from 11AM-7PM during the middle of a pandemic where we're all trapped at home and experts advise you to frequently wash your hands, because management didn't feel like paying maintenance workers overtime to do the work at night. We're all paying 100% of our original rent despite the fact that we can't use the amenity space and there are significantly fewer events than normal. They refuse to give any concessions, negotiate, and when your lease is up they'll even try to RAISE your rent despite the current situation and try to pressure you into staying by telling you it's unsafe to move right now because of COVID (although they seem to have none of those concerns while trying to get new people to move in). There's no reason to pay 2x the market rate for these units without access to the amenities. Even now that the restrictions have lifted in Baltimore and we're allowed to open gyms and pools, our gym and pool are still CLOSED because the building employees did not take the time to figure out how to reopen the facilities safely over the last 3 months that we've been in shutdown. Baltimore has the same rules governing pools and gyms as the rest of MD, which reopened WEEKS ago and yet the incompetent management team here didn't bother to set the facilities up in the meantime so that it could all be reopened quickly once we got the green light from the city. They're not apologetic or trying to find a way to make it up for residents in what's supposed to be a luxury experience and if you try to break your lease you will be paying rent for 6 MONTHS (2 months noice + 2 months break fee + repay all promos) so they know that you're trapped and have no recourse as leverage. There's a reason residents rarely stay here for more than a year. read more

I had an apartment tour with the leasing agent Ahmad. I have to say that this place needs more agents and concierge that deliver opulent service and speak the way he does. From the minute I spoke with him on the phone I wanted him to be the agent to give me a tour. For some reason the other leasing agents seem unenthused and don't give you all of the details that you should know. With such height Rent prices ahmad is a perfect example of the type of service and employee staff I should be engaging with at 414. But it only seems Ahmad is the only ones with that characteristics. I would like to start, I had high hopes and expectations for moving to 414 light street.They have disappointed me in every way, possible racism, stalkers and living in unhealthy conditions. This company needs to rebuild this location and hire new people who respect all people. From the beginning Ive wanted to move to 414 light street apartment, since they started building. The location was perfect to my job, I'm Baltimore Maryland longshoremen. Light street was amazing at a glance great location the people in the leasing office where accommodating and friendly I thought . All The issues didn't start into the day I moved in, I started my first day of residency with no AC in June, this wasn't just a fluke , I had this issue so many times I became really good friends with the matnience team, my fridge made so much noise my guest would complain about it and have to talk loud over the noise. The Hallways smelled of marijuana and dog poop , because they let curtain residences do as they pleased. I never truly felt comfortable or safe , I was always watched and profiled by the buildings security team , every morning when I would go get my coffee the same security guy would follow me I complained about it and was told he has a crush on me, like that was supposed to make me feel better. I knew this was a lie because I would notice the same sequitty guy follow all of the young African American residence throughout the building. I always felt like I was being profiled for my race, it seemed as though because I was black I didn't belong. My guest and neighbors who have moved all felt this way. Finally my lease was ending I've had enough, but due to the pandemic my new apartment wouldn't be ready for a few months. I've never been late on the rent and I've read On the buildings website they offer a month to month plan. I went In Person to inform the leasing office that I was moving but before I moved I would like to start a month to month, I was told by Shelby one of the leasing agents that they don't have this service , I would have to sign a new lease and break it when I needed to move. I left the office upset but it was time for me to move. I hired a team to professionally clean my apartment and move my furniture and turned my key in on time. I waited two weeks to get my deposit back I heard nothing, I went to the leasing office after doing a 20 hour shift and was informed it was a stain on the carpet, which was impossible because my bad was positioned over the area where they said the spot was. I requested pictures and all Shelby and Blake said laughing don't worry we won't take it all. I then called everyday requesting an update on my refund check and was informed they have 45 days to refund me my deposit and to stop calling. Finally at my wits end I returned to the leasing office requesting my refund on day 47 , Shelby gave me my check and stated they had it sense June 3rd and the check was date as such. I almost losted it I called over 30 times for 30 days speaking with Shelby and Blake and no one informed me the check was in the office and to make matters worst they docked my check $402. 00 for a stain that the maintenance manager informed me was never On the carpet , I was told after I moved out all was needed was a fresh coat of paint. I requested pictures again and was brushed off by Shelby, who then went to assist white new residents and wouldn't talk with me anymore. Ive never felt so disrespected, or profiled for my race. I though we as a people have come a long way but that's just not true it's still bad apples In the bunch and no matter how much money you make,give back to your community or be a good person you will still be seen as a lower being. I'm writing this to inform everyone to spend your hard money elsewhere, don't support a company whom is okay with racism and cheating a hardworking state employee during a world in crisis. read more

The attention to detail is evident and the customer service is superb, from the concierge to the housekeeping staff. We moved into 414 Light Street in Baltimore in August 2019. The building is spectacular- 500 feet overlooking the Inner Harbor with breathtaking views of the harbor and city. The lobby, elevators, the residents' floor, the gym, the swimming pool all define living in the lap of luxury. The building is an incredible combination of a resort hotel in the center of the city and residential apartments. So what makes this building so special for us? First, the building itself is spectacular- steel and glass that provides a striking attraction to the heart of the city. Notwithstanding its location, living in the building is a refuge. The entire building is soundproofed; we hear virtually no sounds of the city from a fifth-floor apartment. Secondly, the building is incredibly well maintained. The hallway on our floor has been repainted since we moved in at a point when the building was not much more than a year old. The hallways are vacuumed frequently, the walls are cleaned and marks removed, the trash room cleaned and large boxes removed daily. The door handles are cleaned throughout building every day. Every small maintenance issue- cosmetic or functional- is attended to nearly immediately. The elevators are in a constant state of maintenance- from both a cleanliness as well as an operational standpoint. Thirdly, the entire staff with no buts are the best. There is a 24 hour concierge service and everybody always smiles and offers to help. After we moved in, one member of the team took us to a local UPS store so we could mail legal documents. Another has offered many times to go to the pharmacy to pick up drugs. They all have been inculcated with a focus on hospitality that barely exists in 5 star hotels let alone an apartment building. There are no exceptions- everybody is exceptional, from the cleaners to the concierge team to the managers. All are people whom we would choose for close friends. We have lived all over the globe and never have met so many wonderful caring people. Fourthly, location, location, location. We have walked everywhere. In 10 months, we have driven our car 25 times and less than 1000 miles. We have counted 65 restaurants within a 25 minute walk. The walks are incredibly pleasant around local neighborhoods. The baseball stadium and football stadium are both within walking distance. The Light Rail is within walking distance and goes to BWI Airport, Hunt Valley Town Centre and the Amtrak Station. Most of our doctors are in Philadelphia and we have taken Amtrak for appointments but we also have doctors and dentists locally whose offices we can walk to. And our immediate family is in Silver Spring and we can take the train and the Washington Metro to see them. Fifthly, the entire environment is a luxurious retreat. Every day we look out the window and see an ever-changing landscape. There is bakery that delivers incredibly freshly baked bread several times a week, and a dry cleaner that picks and delivers, a car cleaning service and several services that clean apartments. There are events for residents that are scheduled throughout the month that run the gamut. There are fitness classes, cooking demonstrations, lectures on everything- tea, coffee, politics, candidates for office. We have had a Christmas Party, New Year's Eve fireworks, a guided tour of Camden Yards and a baseball game with the Orioles, Sunday Baltimore Ravens football watching parties, films, drinks and snacks at local restaurants ( Fogo de Chao, Capital Grille, Morton's ), a dining club that visits local restaurants twice a month, discounts at local restaurants including one in the building, a monthly book club, dog walking, babysitting, and numerous other activities. Lastly, the building really is a community filled with incredibly talented professionals who like living here. We all know many of our neighbors. read more

Living here for just over 6 months, this is the best place to call home in Baltimore. Yes, the amenities and views are fantastic (and without extra amenity fees) but far more superior - staff and community. The activities like game night, trivia, tastings are so much fun and one learns about Baltimore. However, It really does feel like a community of neighbors, not just residents in the same building. Folks are genuine and engage in the activities offered by the building. As for the staff, no words are truly adequate. They are fantastic - friendly, engaging, thoughtful and efficient. Superior above any building I've resides in while in the DMV area. It's not just service but again, there is real engagement with residents and a sense of truly wanting to create a community. Hands down, I'm always excited to return home after work, travel, etc. ....because it really feels like HOME. read more

DO NOT RENT HERE. Too much to type. Where do I begin? I am going to make this as detailed as possible. The place was on its last leg when Franklin was there. He was the last leg and now, the place is completely broken. I finally see why, the management. I'm glad that I moved out. Shelby: She is suppose to be some type of manager but since I lived there, she never seem to know what she is doing, let alone, what is going on. I've heard her respond to some residents in a hostile tone, as if they were bothering her. It's been numerous times that I've asked for a package and she would tell me that it wasn't there, although, I received a notification from the Concierge's desk. When I would come back later on and ask about the package, the Concierge would find it. It was the same package from earlier. What the heck couldn't Shelby find it? Then again, looking at the entrance of their package room, it's full of boxes on the floor, bags, etc. Very untidy. In passing, I've heard her and other staff talk about the place in a negative manner. I can't blame them but I also overheard some of the workers talk about how she doesn't know what she is doing & how she makes simple mistakes like scheduling people on days and times, knowing that the person cannot work. In the last month, I've seen so many different faces at the desk, that has come and gone, it's ridiculous. I mean that says a lot about the hiring process and the operations of the Concierge's desk. She is someone who doesn't belong in her position. How did she even get into that position? I remember that I've asked her certain questions about events and she couldn't even answer them. Franklin knew more about that place than she did. Yet, she was his boss. Scary. I've had other residents tell me how awful she is as a manager and a couple of them told me that one concierge made an awful scene, cursing at management. I am not sure why but maybe that employee snapped. Blake/Corporate: If you can't see how much of that place is in disarray, what good are you?! This is the same guy that didn't know how to handle the water shut off that happened 2 months ago. Apparently, they have many cases of water that were not given out to the residents, in that emergency. After everything was supposedly set, Shelby sends out an email stating that all water has been restored. Turns out, myself and may other tenants, still didn't have water or hot water. You would of thought that a manager would know not to use certain terminology and follow up before even sending such a promising email to tenants. I've seen people come in, inquire about apartments and when the Concierge would call back to the office, no one would answer. They would make a comment about how no one in the office ever answers the telephone. When I peeped in the office, they were laughing and having fun. I'm all for fun but if you are going to ignore a telephone call, what else are you willing to ignore?! Blake is suppose to be the Property Manager but it's so many other issues that seem to have gotten progressively worst, like bugs in the building, bed bugs in people's apartment, homeless people coming into the building because the management staff neglected to get the broken doors fixed, which seems to be a common issue. I've literally seen security sit at the desk and be Concierge for the night. Who was patrolling the premises? Why would Blake allow this? Safety anyone?! Blake is the Property Manager but he's doing a horrible job at it. The bottom line is I don't know why Franklin left, but it was clear that he was the one running things, helping his staff and residents that best way that he could. Both you and Shelby need to be fired. You both are the most incompetent managers that I've ever been in contact with. TC! read more

We've been living here for about two months. Aside from the spectacular views and the great proximity to Fed Hill, there's an incredible concierge staff that really goes out of their way to help residents with everything from dry cleaning to parties. The building even has a lifestyle concierge who focuses on special events which includes three free fitness classes per week, fun parties (SuperBowl) and also helping and supporting residents to organize their own events. The other residents are all ages and very friendly. Some of them even have four legs, and they are treated just as nicely as the two legged ones. The service level in general is very high. If something is broken in your apartment, it gets attended to quickly and professionally. The public areas are all sparkling clean. There is still some construction going on, but it really doesn't interfere with everyday life here. Highly recommend taking a tour. read more

414 Light Street is unlike any other apartment community in Baltimore! I can't believe that prices start around $1800. The amenities are breathtaking; including a 4000 sq. ft. private fitness club, resort style pool deck, and a 16ft high, outdoor dual screen for movies and sports! They offer more than just amenities and amazing finishes; they offer services that no one else does- complimentary health and wellness assessments, personal training, pet services, IT assistance, personal shopping, and they can even get you in to a packed restaurant on a Friday night when you don't have a reservation!! The staff is phenomenal and comes from high-end service and hospitality backgrounds so they really know how to treat their residents! The location is walk-able to everything in Downtown Baltimore, Fells Point, Canton, Harbor East, and Federal Hill! Make 414 Light Street your first stop, and you wont need to go anywhere else! read more
