Great place to live. Safe and close to the medical center. I love the windows that open in the living area. Beautiful light and I very rarely have to use central heat and air because I just leave the windows open. The complex is quiet. Valet always polite and helpful. The management team was fantastic to work with and responded very promptly to any requests. Allegra did a fantastic job making sure this was a great place to live.

Dead flowers, and dirty old table are left in the hallways as "decoration".

This is the worst place I've ever lived. There are so many things wrong with this building. First, it's so dang noisy. There's the usual noise from the walls being thin (you can hear your neighbors having sex, conversations, TV, etc) , but you also have to deal with the loud outside environment. There's a train that makes a ton of noise all throughout the night and at least once a week, I can hear the dumpsters being emptied at around 5AM. This place also claims that it's a "luxury residential community" but it's so dirty and not well maintained. The carpets in the hallways are always covered in dog urine, the hallways always smell like poo and death, and people leave trash like dead plants and dirty old tables in the hallways. This summer, there were piles of dog poop just sitting right outside of the building entrance for weeks in the hot summer sun. This is not luxury. The actual units themselves are decent enough (the kitchens are outdated), but the overall building is just ghetto. Lastly, this place is unsafe. Someone broke into two apartments and also stole two bikes from the garage. Management promised they would do all of these things to amp up security like install flood lights and replace the front lock like with a fob. I'm not sure if they installed the flood lights but they definitely didn't install a fob system for the front door.

After having to apartment hunt several times in life. I really do appreciate an honest review…read more When I moved into 1305 Dock street I booked this remotely never having seen the area all the way from Texas. I got very lucky because I do not recommend renting without seeing first but I had done extensive research and read many reviews about 1305 which is why I want to leave an honest review for the next person in my situation. This is one of the buildings located in Harbor East (a very nice part of town). It takes me 4minutes to walk to Whole Foods. I run along the Harbor all the time and I have a waterfront view... Although my blinds are down most of the time between the hours of 11am-3pm due to extensive sun coming through my floor to ceiling, wall to wall windows. I appreciate an overcast day so I can put the blinds up and appreciate the beautiful view all day long on the weekend. Right now (2022) they are constructing a price tower in front of our view, I'm told it's two 3 stories building so hopefully wont block too much of the amazing view that almost everyone in this complex gets. They were previously owned by Bozzuto and recently changed to Kettler management. I haven't noticed a difference between the two management company, they have both been very communicative and easy to reach. I don't have any problems with the appliances but I'm a small person and having a 2 in 1 washer/dryer that is within my unit is perfect for me. It does take a long time to do just one load but again I'm small and so are my clothes so I can wash a lot of things in one load so just keep that in mind. I'm in a studio, the appliances are small to fit the unit. It is perfect for me. The bathroom is surprisingly very big for a studio which I appreciate. I use both closets because I have a ton of clothes. Noise level: very quiet. I only hear people when they bring down their blinds or pull it up but otherwise never hear any major noise. On some weekends there is a festival outside our building and it's loud at like 11am-5pm while the festivities are going on but it never bothers me. At night it is very quiet and easy to sleep. The walls are thick so other than the blinds coming down (I guess that section is thin?) I never hear my neighbors talking or playing music or tv. Elevators are always working. The building doesn't have too many amenities like a gym but to be honest I like to run outside and ...be outside so that doesn't bother me. I would never use that amenity. Parking is 165$/mo with a third party that the management will set you up with. Its' premium parking which regulates all parking in this area. It is also within walking distance to Fells point. Overall, for the price, location, and safety I love living here and am sad to have to leave. If I was going to be local I would continue to stay here. When my lease ended they were able to give me an extra month at a reduced price which I was so appreciative of. So overall this was an excellent place for me.

It's also walking distance to Whole Foods and a ton of places to eat, workout (but there's a nice gym in the building), and it's right on the water. No building is perfect, of course, there are some new developments coming up around but the building administration is so up front about what's happening in the area. The staff really makes an effort to make the resident's feel at home by hosting happy hours and different parties and even a resident's appreciation week. It's a very dog friendly building and everyone I've come across has been very nice. Great areas to study and and kick back by the pool. I feel safe here and I really like the package system because I always get notified of my mail.

You could have the Ritz Carleton with…read moreunbelievable amenities, but would you realistically choose that if it meant for 3+ months at a time you only had one elevator in an apartment with 17 floors of people? Or if for 5+ months you had 4-5 days/week of piercingly loud emergency alarms going off at random times. Alarms you couldn't even predict in an attempt to avoid, or prepare yourself for the shock/adrenaline rush? (boy who cried wolf?! I would be stupid to go downstairs and stop everything I'm doing every time I have an alarm go off.) Or how about an inability to control the temperature of your own expensive apartment?! They were having issues with something in the apartment airflow and temperature control, so they decided to just control it themselves, leaving me with a painfully hot apartment for over a week. I emailed them about this and never once heard back. If you look through the reviews, all of the positive ones are from 5+ years ago. Take that into consideration if you plan on renting here. Their excuses and failure to respond is mind blowing!!!!!

The pool was so great, probably my favorite amenity because they checked your card to make sure you lived there so it wasn't overrun with people bringing everyone they knew, and lots of chairs! I did love the 5th? floor lounge area too for reading or something when you needed a calm break from your place. Super walkable to so much stuff, the courthouse park, tons of restaurants, CVS, the library, and you also feel so safe since the police are seriously next door, along with needing key cards to even enter the building. Only downside - parking. We moved in while the auto park was closed so they gave us spots in the garage next door, which wasn't ideal in winter or with groceries or heavy items. They did have carts to help bring things upstairs but you still had to get over to the building which was a pain. Although, don't know if the auto park was better. I worked with someone who lived in the same building and we had one day where we took the elevator down together but I got to work an hour earlier bc it broke and she couldn't get her car out.
