The apartment doesn't hold there side of the lease agreement. Unhelpful staff. Not worth the pride to live uncomfortably:

I have been living here for 14 years. I love it. It's close to everything and no noisy neighbors. Except for 1 or 2 rowdy geese.

You get what you pay for. I suppose if you live in subsidized housing, you can't expect much. But…read moreyou can expect SOMETHING, right? The front office staff is horrible. The phone line is off 75% of the time & the admin office (which already has inconvenient hours) closes early almost EVERY TIME I go down there. They take forever to get paperwork done for you, the maintenance phone line is also off most of the time (forcing you to leave a message on the emergency maintenance line during regular business hours), the maintenance staff takes forever to get things done, residents are loud and blast music in their cars as they drive by at all hours of the night, and when you complain to Edgewood Management Corp (the company who owns Windsor Valley) about it, you'll talk to a guy named Terrence Kelley who does nothing but make excuses for these losers. Don't move here. On the bright side, it is clean & pest-free, & obviously affordable.

If i can leave no stars i would everything what the previous reviews said about the rental office…read morethey unprofessional they don't want to help they barely working when they at work because rental office always closed and phone lines always down they do not return calls or emails they haven't even returned my security deposit yet well over 90days they are mice ants and spider infested (field mouses) only people seem to work is maintenance.... I wouldn't recommend anyone live here you got to be desperately homeless to live here they are trash its not worth it

Should not be considered luxury apartment by any means…read more Water pressure sucks, ants in ground level unit, no assigned parking, poor construction, trash compactor always has issues, manager is an idiot, maintenance guy is a creep and can't fix anything, unit smells horrible, way over priced, can hear people in hallway, heat/cooling has issues staying to temp, garbage disposal doesn't work, washer/dryer are cheap and don't work well

My wife and I visited all of the newer apartments in the Bel Air area…read more Of the newer ones, James Run was the best for us. We've lived here since August and we have yet to meet an unhappy tenant. The staff we've met: front desk- Aleah and Adena; maintenance- David and Ty; management - Annie and Tim...are all friendly and professional. Upon signing up we were offered discounts and promotions and help (financially) ending our lease with our Cockeysville apartment. Amenities are important to us. The best James Run amenities are: a fenced playground, dog park, community garden, building key fob entry, elevators, car wash station, salt water pool, free valet at-the-door trash pickup, EV charging stations, fully equipped gym and large community spaces with a regulation size Brunswick pool table. We're next door to Chipotle, Starbucks, Royal Farms, Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse and more. Also, James Run is a short drive to downtown Bel Air. The James Run community is a healthy mix of Yuppies and boomers. Every morning, because we're boomers, we walk to the leasing building for free coffee. Good luck with your apartment search.

This is a non smoking property and that was my 1st attention catcher. The property manager Kim was very friendly, kind & accommodating with my schedule to say the least. The property looks just as pictured online. My apartment was ready to move in & Mr Ken (maintenance man) made sure it was cleaned thoroughly to assure allergen free, which is needed for my illness. I love my style of apartment & the amenities offered. I love the manager & has always helped me with anything needed. I'm very greatful to have a manager that screen incoming residents & keep my safety on her mind! Who wouldn't want a manager that knows her tenants? The only reason I did not give 5 was not due to lack of management however there are tenants that do not follow the rules of non smoking property. I've learned that not all people were groomed to be clean or teach their children to be respectful. Thank you Kim for doing your very best & I appreciate you. Sweet LB
