By far and away the best craft burger I have ever had in the State of Idaho. Sids, Wyld Child,…read moreHoly Cow used to be up there for Idaho, but no more. The burger and fries are the closest thing to heaven I've ever had, and you won't want to miss them right now. I honestly don't know how they do it. Note, that this means this is the best burger in the state, it is the best burger in comparison to any in California or any other surrounding state. There was not a bad bite. It is as if Jesus has blessed the chef and your taste buds, it is a literal masterpiece. Everything is made with care, you will experience euphoria and what a burger made with care actually tastes like. Juds, Big Bun, the new In N' Out Burger, are good in their own respect, but not even the same echelon as Hood Burger. Hood Burger is on top of the pyramid, everything else is just ok. Everything is made to perfection. I am not sure if it is because they are in a food truck and not an upscale restaurant, but these guys truly care about their product. If you want a cheap burger with the typical result go to one of the other local places, if you want the best burger for around $15 go now. Like get up and go, what are you doing still reading this, go.

The burger was oversized the bun got mushy fast, flavor sub par. Expecting a nice juicy burger, not as amazing as I was expecting. The fries were good. Good tasting beef and good ingredients at this place. Nothing beats smash alley thus far.

So don't go thinking you are going to find your everyday hard shell tacos, enchiladas, burritos and taquitos ect. They do have rice & beans that are served with some of your ENTREES. We ordered the Birria Pizza with all the fixing and it was big, feeling, and yummy we brought half of it home. We suggest you try it. And service was provided with a smile and all our Menu questions were answered. We certainly will be returning.

They have the perfect amount of beef to cheese ratio and come with raw chopped onion, cilantro, and grilled onions on the side. The consome is a hefty portion and the hot sauce is something magical. The red sauce delivers a spice that makes your eye brows sweat and the flavor is truly to die for. All together, you'll experience a taco experience you could only hope for in your dreams. Now let's talk horchata. This 32 oz of perfection comes with a strawberry puree rim and just the right amount of sweet. Honestly, if you're wrestling with trying to figure out where to get food, just go. The staff is amazing and food is out fast. The inside is comfortable and fun. And you could go up to the menu, close your eyes, and point to anything. It's all amazing.

The menu has a few things you can order from burritos, tacos, tortas and other fun items. We ordered a Carne Asada Burrito and it has rice, beans, meat of choice & lettuce and avocado it was pretty good. We got some tacos as well and not sure if she mixed up another ordered but we were short 3 tacos on our order and that was a bummer.. I was really looking forward to them. Their asada, carnitas, el pastor were all really good and authentic flavor and loved that the pastor had the pineapple chunks as well. One thing I did dislike was I asked about chips order and it said $5 when I asked her if I can just have a couple, she was a bit confused and asked the lead there. Apparently they didn't have chips in their truck and had to go find them. That should have been my no thank you but I figured ohh let's give them a try. Once we got to our house and saw the $5 chips I was honestly a bit upset they were store bought nacho chips. Tacos are $2.50 I don't understand why chips are $5 and they aren't even like your traditional Mexican chips or something along those lines. That was my only downfall to this place but those are just chips. Their food was honestly good no doubt about it when we were ordering they had a few people eating there and a few to go orders. Maybe take them off the menu or make little baggies and purchase chips from a Mexican store or make your own tostadas..
