WITHOUT A DOUBT some of the best if not THE VERY BEST birria tacos I've ever had in my life!! Every single bite was absolute perfection beyond perfection and although I left stuffed I still left wishing I'd ordered more! Only thing that could improve this is better chips and salsa options but honestly the tacos carry this to a 5 star easily! One of my new favorite taco places ever!! read more

We were looking for a late night snack and saw this spot was open on DoorDash, so we gave it a shot. We ordered five birria tacos and some consomé We're literally still eating and I said I need to write this review right now. These tacos were packed with meat. They did not skimp at all. Tons of cilantro and onions too, which made them even better. Easy 12/10. Would absolutely order again. read more

Why have I taken so long to try this place? The service was great and employess very knoweldgable about the food. The decour was spacious and mariachi music blastin on the speakers was a good touch. They did not dissapoint and I will say its cuz of the consome! It was really flavorful with the right amount of salt and balanced really well. Their tacos were filled with meet and oozing cheese. They use corn tortillas and soaked them in the consume before grilling to perfection. Definitely get the tacos! Every time. I also tried their birria ramen. The noodles left a ton of room to be desired(they reminded me of Maruchans) but they loaded it up with beef and all that tasty consome as the broth. With that price point, y'all gotta step up the noodles! With that said, if on this side of town, this is legit birria and worth the stop! read more

I follow this guy on Tik Tok who's goal was to try tacos from all 50 states. Garnacha Que Apapacha was on his list. He tired it and gave them a high score. My friend also highly recommend this joint so of course we had to try it out today. Who doesn't want birria tacos on Valentines day? I remember when this venue opened up back in the early 2K. It's been several different restaurants and it's cool that this joint is filling this space. Walking in it's very colorful and fun. You got music going, people eating and chatting. It has a pretty cool and chilll vibe. I usually order one quesabirria taco and a smaller street taco. It's more than enough for me. Unfortunately this joint doesn't have the smaller tacos so I got two quesabirria tacos. And of course I needed the bottle of Mexican Coca Cola to go with my tacos. They have quite a few Jarrito options. That will be a must for my next visit. I headed to the salsa bar and grabbed some green salsa. You can also grab your utensils, napkins and water there as well. Everything was nicely placed and organized. Our buzzers went off to grab our goodies and boy, they looked so good on the tray! The consomé was pipping hot in the container. The tacos were golden with charred bits of cheese. There was fresh cilantro, lime and onion that you can add to your taco. Everything looked fresh! I squeezed a good amount of lime onto the taco. Added the onion and cilantro. I needed the whole experience. Dipped that baby into the consomé. Wooooooowwww. It was so good! The cheese pull was fantastic. The meat was tender. The lime added such a nice freshness to the taco. The consomé was salty and added a nice addition to the taco. It was absolutely delicious! I was only able to finish one. They are loaded with birria. I didn't end up using any of the green salsa. Everything was so flavorful that it didn't need the extra sauce. If you're looking for a hella good quesabirria taco, Garnacha Que Apapacha is the joint you need to hit up! You won't be disappointed. read more

Best birria in the Treasure Valley, hands down. There's no need to look anywhere else. The tacos are cravable and addicting. They have the perfect amount of beef to cheese ratio and come with raw chopped onion, cilantro, and grilled onions on the side. The consome is a hefty portion and the hot sauce is something magical. The red sauce delivers a spice that makes your eye brows sweat and the flavor is truly to die for. All together, you'll experience a taco experience you could only hope for in your dreams. Now let's talk horchata. This 32 oz of perfection comes with a strawberry puree rim and just the right amount of sweet. Honestly, if you're wrestling with trying to figure out where to get food, just go. The staff is amazing and food is out fast. The inside is comfortable and fun. And you could go up to the menu, close your eyes, and point to anything. It's all amazing. read more

The Place is a Birreria which is a place that specializes in one type of food. It's shredded marinated beef. Which is Delicious. So don't go thinking you are going to find your everyday hard shell tacos, enchiladas, burritos and taquitos ect. They do have rice & beans that are served with some of your ENTREES. We ordered the Birria Pizza with all the fixing and it was big, feeling, and yummy we brought half of it home. We suggest you try it. And service was provided with a smile and all our Menu questions were answered. We certainly will be returning. read more

I'm so happy I can finally check this place off! I've been wanting to try "the best birria in the Treasure Valley" for years now. This is comfort food! My husband and I enjoyed 2 Quesabirria Tacos ($4.99 each) and the Birria Burrito ($16.85) with consome ($1.75 for 8 oz). The prices seem a little steep, but you sure get what you pay for. Our tacos and burrito were loaded with juicy, tender meat and plenty of cheese. There's so much flavor in each bite. I think they did excellent with the spices. I also loved the giant slices of grilled onions. Both items were delicious, but the tacos are the real showstopper. They've got all the taste and goodness the burrito had but with a nice, crispy crunch that really made the meal! My only point of criticism is the extra charge for consome. It's cheap, but I've never had to pay extra so it surprised me. IMO, you need it for the full, delicious experience. I got lucky and noticed last minute that it was an optional side order, otherwise I would have completely missed out on it. I'd suggest building it into the prices of the meals. I'd say yes, give this place a try! I've already got my eyes on that PizzaBirria for my next visit. read more

I had high expectations coming here, what with all the hype. Garnacha Que Apapacha exceeded their fanfare. Two quesobirria tacos, no consume. They did not need to get dipped after I stuffed them with the cebolla, cilantro and fried onions. These tacos are not street tacos. They are huge and full of stuff. $5 each seems a little steep, but not after trying to pick one up to eat it. I am still looking for more places who serve quesobirria tacos. Comparison to places I have already reviewed, makes this the top pick so far. Decent parking and lots of room in their dining area and patio. read more

They serve only beef in tacos. This place would be more popular if they add chicken, pork and shrimp in menu.

This place is honestly the best place to come and get Birria tacos. Today, I also ordered the chocoflan, and the chocolate cake was moist and good. The flan part was absolutely delicious. I had to order a full one for a party I have coming up. The spot is very open, with lots of available sitting. I can't wait for the summer to be able to sit outside and enjoy Birria tacos. Today, my kid ordered the burrito to go. I was so lucky to find this place and get there when I did. Entered around 6:30 and surprisingly had no line. By 6:45 the line was out the door! The Birra tacos were amazing. They were served with generous portions of grilled onions, chopped raw onions and fresh cilantro. I saw someone order a horchata (which I didn't see on the menu) so I had to have one. It was the largest horchata I had ever seen! Made fresh in a blender and served in the blender container! . Luckily for me they had to go cups as I couldn't finish it all in one sitting. read more

Wanted to check this place out for awhile. I wanted to like it, but I wasn't impressed. We got the barria tacos with no cheese and a barria quesadilla. Not a ton of flavor. The quesadilla was too huge. Big chunks of onion in there. I am a huge salsa person...Green salsa was okay, red was spicy but flavor wasn't great. The register person with owl tattoos was not the friendliest. Weird vibes. The chips are store bought. Stale. The restaurant was not busy, didn't feel clean. Patio was big. This area is just dead for having a theatre next to it. Branco Tacos is way better for barria...by A lot better! I was expecting the food to be good but I was not expecting it to be so extremely delicious and plentiful. I ordered the birria tacos which came apparently deep fried with a succulent meat filling and a lot of accompaniments such as jalapenos, onions, limes and cilantro. Not sure if I had ordered this as well, but it came with a very deliciously highly flavorful deep red consome broth. It is really not that far on the drive from downtown Boise and definitely worth the trip if you are hungry for some delicious, well made, homemade food. I will return! read more

La Garnacha que Apapacha is a popular Nampa food truck located at 215 1st Ave. South, that is known for its Birria. Best known for their Birria tacos, they have lots of other menu items with Birria too. I had been wanting to try them for some time and finally got the chance last week. I ordered. 3 Birria tacos ($12) and 16 ounces of consommé ($2). While these are not my favorite Birria tacos, if you like Birria tacos, you should check them out. I liked how beautifully plated my to go box was, and all the wonderful fixin's that came with it. I like how well run this food truck is. Even though I arrived in the middle of lunch rush, my food came out pretty quickly. This is the first time I've been given a side of grilled onions with my Birria tacos and they were delicious! I like that you have the option of buying as little as one Birria taco. I liked the generous meat portion in each taco, and how cheesy they were. I like that even though I had a 20+ minute drive back to my office, the tacos were still hot by the time I arrived. What I didn't care for was care for the amount of cinnamon and/or cloves present in the meat, which gave it a slightly sweet flavor, rather than the complex, savory flavor that I prefer. But that is a matter of personal taste. These are by far some of the most popular Birria tacos in the Treasure Valley. I also did not like paying extra for 16 ounces of consommé, which was the smallest size. There's also a 32 ounce option. Until now, every single Birria taco I have ever bought has come with a small portion consommé. I would rather pay more for each individual taco to cover the price of a small portion of consommé, than be required to buy it separately. In my opinion, a 16 ounce serving of consommé for Birria tacos is 3 to 4 times more than needed. I look forward to returning and trying their Mexico City style basket tacos, potatoes with chorizo, and Chocoflan. Recommended! read more

Absolutely the BEST quesabirria tacos I have ever had! I had no idea what to expect when I pulled up to a busy dirt lot with a yellow taco truck in the far corner. I placed my order and I wasted no time afterward as I took my to-go bag home to share this treat with my wife. The tacos were delicious. "The flavors just keep coming!" is a direct quote from my wife as we couldn't get enough of these hand-sized treasures! Definitely have our stamp of approval! A visit is totally worth it! The tender shredded beef is marinated and they put a hefty amount of meat in each taco. It's then topped with melted cheese in a crisp tortilla. Cilantro, lime, onions, green and a spicy red sauce as well as caramelized onions are your side condiments. Dip that with your consommé and it's simply GOLDEN! Highly recommend checking them out! I think next time, I will place my order to-go over the phone ahead of time and make sure I have cash handy. But boy, these tacos were top notch! Support local! read more

This may make me seem like a snob but I'm generally not impressed by Mexican food in Idaho. There are good places but that's just about it. But this Birrieria is better than a popular one I had in LA, Vegas and Miami. We made the hour and some change trip and it was well worth it for some comforting birria. My friend, who frequents Mexico thought the quesadilla was better than the one he had there! Best consume I've had from a restaurant. Will definitely be going back. read more
