Swung by for dinner on a Tuesday evening and it was relatively slow. There's plenty of outdoor seating and good amount of parking near to the food truck, which was nice. The prices on the menu weren't updated, so I wasn't sure how much anything costed - it just showed as "88.88" on every item. We ordered a taco combo, birria burrito, and a Mexican coke which came out to ~$27. We ended up waiting close to 40 minutes for ours to come out. Unfortunately, the hype fell short for us. The salsa cups were barely half full, and mostly more spice than flavor. The tortillas on the tacos and burrito weren't toasted - they fell apart while we holding them. The birria burrito came with a consommé that was great, but the burrito itself was wrapped poorly. The meats in each of the items were fine, but not as great as the reviews praised them to be. Perhaps we got them on a bad day? All in all, it's an okay taco truck. read more

I have been searching for the best Mexican food in Boise ever since I moved here in 2007 and I think I finally found it! If you like Mexican food do not wait another minute to visit Antonio's. Food: 5/5. We got the birria tacos, chipotle burrito and a bottled Coke. Everything was fantastic! The chipotle burrito was probably the best burrito I've ever had! Service: 5/5. The gentleman that was at the window was very friendly and we got our order relatively quickly for how many people were there. Atmosphere: 4/5. The only reason I am giving this a 4 is because it was super windy when we went so we weren't able to eat there. During nice weather there is an area with about 4 tables for eating. Kid friendly: 5/5. I would definitely take kids here. It's outdoors so it's great for messy and loud kids. read more

Have driven across town half a dozen times over the last 2 months and this place is never open. No notices on their website or FB page. There's a sign on the truck that says they'll open in 2 weeks but no date on it so who knows when that was put up. Wasted a lot of time and gas trying to come when they say they're supposedly open. read more

I'm from southern California where there are almost too many amazing street taco places to pick from and this reminds me of home. This is a food truck located on the corner of a lot with about 5-6 parking spots. There is shaded outdoor seating with three tables. I stopped by to try what they're apparently best known for: their birria tacos. They have a birria taco special for $8.50 which includes two tacos, rice, and beans, but if you don't want the rice and beans you can order a single birria taco for $3.50 each. I got two of those as well as three normal tacos ($1.75 each) with one of adobada, asada, and carnitas. Between these three my favorite was the adobada as it was the most flavorful, then the carnitas, then the asada. However the two sauces (green and red) added a lot of spice and flavor. The red sauce was a lot spicier and went well with the adobada and asada and the green sauce went well with the carnitas. My favorite of the four different tacos were definitely the birria tacos which had so much more flavor than the others. Between the cheesy goodness and the consomme they were delicious. If you stop here you definitely have to get those. read more

Why did I not try this food truck sooner?!? My daughter wanted tacos and I found Antonio's because I was looking to try Birrara tacos after the first time I did wasn't a great success. The birrara tacos at Antonio's Kitchen are DELICIOUS! I've been craving them everyday since. The street tacos were good as well, but I'll be going back mainly for their Birrara tacos! There was a time on the internet that I couldn't go an hour without seeing street tacos being dipped in consomè on my timeline. For so long I would be craving something I hadn't even tried before!! I did end up trying it once before on a trip to Austin, but I was even more excited to have found a spot in Idaho that serves up Birria tacos and burritos! The location of this food truck is in a really cute area off of Ustick- near the old "First Bank of H.P. Ustick". Antonio's has a big vintage-looking marquee sign to look out for when driving. There's a big parking lot and a covered seating area. I also loved that we were given a buzzer so we could wait in our car after ordering. What we ordered (for 3)- 2 Birria tacos specials that came with 2 birria tacos each, sides of beans and rice and the consommé. 1 birria burrito which also came with a side of the beans and rice and consommé, when we ordered it was mentioned that the sauce in the burrito was extra spicy. We also ordered 3 chicharron and 3 abodabo tacos Everything was so fricking delicious!! You can tell that it is all made fresh to order- you have to try this spot! read more

Oh...my....god. This food is probably the most cravable thing I've ever experienced from a food truck. Their carne asada burrito is filled with tender pieces of steak, pico, rice and beans. It's perfectly grilled for an amazing crunch and the salsa gives it the perfect kick. And the Birria tacos. My lord, they are amazing. Some places add too much of the soup to the tortilla and make it soggy. Not Antonio's. They're absolutely perfect. I have yet to ever try anything bad from this place. The people are amazing and generally just want to give each customer the best experience possible. I've recommended this place to more than 2 dozen people and all have come back raving about it. My first review ever! So glad I have tech savvy daughters to finally teach this old man how to Yelp! I travelled from Las Vegas in search of a great Birria Taco Truck and found it at Antonio's Kitchen. Beef shredded to mouth melting perfection, seasoned just right and accompanied by two sauces (that I mixed together for ideal flavor and heat), and a generous cup of consommé for an authentic dipping experience. I had enough soup to also dip a chicken taco and a carne asada taco - both were excellent. Friendly service and covered table were a nice touch for a food truck. I would give this place 10 stars but it only lets me go up to 5. Going back for more today! read more

I was in Boise for work and had a craving for street tacos. I saw Antonio's had solid reviews, usually I'm wary of food trucks but this seemed like a solid establishment. I went with the Birria tacos based on all the good reviews and the person that took my order (THE Antonio I think) recommended the carne asada and carnitas street tacos so I got those as well. The birria tacos and broth did not disappoint, fresh and crispy. The street tacos satisfied my cravings, I couldn't have asked for more. I ate at the tables that were there and everything was clean. Best Birria Tacos I've had in Boise! I ordered the Birria Taco Special which came with two tacos, side of rice and refried beans. I'm not a fan of beans so next time I'll substitute with the rice. Antonio's Kitchen, a Boise food truck, serves the most delicious Birria tacos. They are a special every Friday and Saturday until they run out. I tried them for the first time on 7/17/20 and they far exceeded my expectations. The pictures below do not do it justice. I think the tacos, which come with rice and beans, cost $7.75. I loved that each taco had two corn tortillas. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, as was the broth. The tacos were so filling that and I only ate one and saved the other for later. This little taco truck gets BUSY - And for good reason! Antonio's has the best Birria I have had, and my husband is quite fond of the Birria Ramen! The chicken tacos are really good, too, as well as the beans and rice that come with the combos. I love that everything is made fresh and with high-quality ingredients! The covered waiting/dining area is really great, and there's pagers that let you know when your food is done. It is located on a busy road, so you have the vehicle bouse when you're waiting, but the wait usually isn't long. The outdoor seating area is very cute. I am always greeted with a smile from a very kind man, so it is safe to say the food isn't the only reason I keep going back. The service makes it even better, if that is even possible! read more
