100% a 5 star taco truck. Juan is doing it right at this spot in Kuna...I have been here a bunch of times and every time it doesn't disappoint. The only negative I would give is the chips are out of a bag and not warm, but the salsa is homemade and delicious. My favorite here is either the birria tacos or al pastor tacos. My wife loves the al pastor burrito. This is a very good sized burrito and won't leave you hungry. He has lots of choices and everything I have had taste very authentic. They do have outdoor seating and is always kept clean. Service no matter who is working is always a 5 star. Love this place and will for sure be back.

This is hands down the best food truck in the Treasure Valley. I live in Seattle and so when I'm in town, I try to eat here as often as I can. I dream of their food when I'm back home, it's that good! My go to order is the El Pastor Mulitas. I have no words to describe how tasty they are. I have tried these in a few different states and all over the Seattle metro area and nothing compares to their Mulitas! Do yourself a favor and try them. My husband got me hooked and now that I all of want to eat when we go out for Mexican. All in all, 10/10 everything. Prices are really good and service is amazing. Keep up the good work El Patio!

Awesome carne asada burritos. Normally hate beans but these rock... you can't go wrong here.

The best birria tacos, so crispy and cheesy, and the consome to dip them in is delicious.

We've been here dozens of times, always good, but not last night…read more I ordered the Carnitas with Mole, I've had the regular carnitas many times so I figured adding mole would just make them better. What I got was a lump of overcooked, dry, unsliced, unseasoned pork roast with the mole poured over at the table. I spent the first five minutes just trying ti cut and tear the pork baseball apart and stirring it in the mole. I kept picturing Chef Ramsey taking a bite, spitting it back on the plate and flagging down the waiter,. "This is disgusting!" You know meat is dry when you must drink something because it keeps getting stuck on the way down! What I should have received was seasoned carnitas that spent at least some time with the sauce in the pan. I had to stop it was so bad! If it hadn't bern Valentines Day weekend, and if we hadn't already waited an hour to eat because it was busy, I'd have asked the waiter for something else. When the waiter came to check and asked, I was honest, he apologized and offered to have them prepare something else, but by this point I was just ready to leave. The Manager came, apologized and took my dinner off the bill, the right thing to do. We used to live in Kuna, but now it's at least an hour drive round trip, so I doubt we'll be back. Maybe if we are meeting friends/family in Kuna, but just us, I don't think so. Time to find good Mexican closer to downtown Boise!

My wife ordered a chile rellano and an enchilda. I ordered camarones diabla, one of my favorite dishes. My wife had a coke and I had water. My wife really enjoyed her food, and there was plenty of it, as she brought some home. In my dish, the shrimp were nice and plump, which was great, and the sauce was flavorful, though not as good as at another place I frequent. There were small pieces of mushroom, but there were also a lot of strips of onion, which I'm not a fan of. Just my personal taste. They charge $3.50 for a soda, and for that price, my wife asked for a refill to go. She thought our server was perhaps a bit displeased that she made this request, but we feel that it is reasonable, given the price tag for soda that comes from a machine. All in all, we enjoyed our experience at La Cabanita, and will return, we happen to be in the area (we live in Star).

We went on a Friday night and it was incredibly busy--which I always take as a good sign. Even with the crowd, they had us seated within ten minutes and quickly got menus in our hands. The menu had so many great options that it was almost overwhelming (in the best way). I ended up ordering a chicken chimichanga and an enchilada, and both were absolutely delicious--so good that I've already asked my friend if she wants to go back again tonight. We also ordered drinks, and those were just as enjoyable. The staff took great care of us, checking in and making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Overall, such a great experience and definitely a spot I'll be coming back to. Tons of places to sit whether you're a small party or a big one. I have tried fajitas all over the US, Mexico and Costa Rica, not good. When the fajitas came out all you could see was onions and onions and more onions, a small amount of green bell pepper cut up really small, that was it besides the scant amount of small pieces of chicken. No taste to the meal, it was very bland. The extra hot salsa she brought me was very good, arbol pepper sauce. Kind of a smokey flavor with lots of bite, it was very good. I am sad to have to write a review like this, but I must be honest.
