Beer and burgers to celebrate a couple birthdays. It was cooler the day we decided to go. But, we made it work! We dressed warm, pushed a couple picnic tables together and got ourselves situated. After peeping out the menu, we all finally decided what we were having. There were four separate families so one by one we made our way to get our orders in. My daughter got a double onion burger, my husband the single cheeseburger and I got a bunless double Hood burger. My husband did order a grilled cheese last minute. He's a huge grilled cheese lover so of course he had to check it out. We were the last family to get our order in so by the time we got our food, the other three families were ready for boxes. We did get our grilled cheese first. Not going to lie, as hot and fresh as it was, our bun over overly charred. I understand that a grilled cheese would have a crispy sides to it but the top and bottom of the bun was black. As an adult, we ate part of it but if I were to give this to a kid, you know that kid isn't going to eat it. We ate a third of it and basically tossed it. It wasn't the cheapest grilled cheese so it sucked not enjoying the whole thing. I had asked the chef to make sure that my burger patties were well well well done. With my new kidney, I can't have my meat not fully cooked. She ensured me that they cook all their burgers well done so I didn't need to request it. Well, unfortunately parts of my burger patties were still pink despite of asking for them to be well done. I did enjoy the edges of my burger patties. The sauce, onions and cheese were so tasty on it! I had to eat around the lettuce after forgetting to tell them I can't have it. Overall, The parts of the burger I had were good. The bun on my husband's burger was night and day compared to the grilled cheese. He very much enjoyed his burger. My daughter ate about half and plans on polishing the rest tomorrow. We paid close to 75 bucks to have a burnt grilled cheese and a couple of burger patties that weren't fully cooked. It's cool I got to mark them off my to go list. But, paying that much and not being able to eat all your food is something I don't want to do again. If we ever come back, maybe I'll hit this joint up or I might just find another joint to eat at while kickin it the Bruery.

The fries and sides are worth snagging a few of. And as is standard when in the land of potatoes, be sure to snag some freshly made and chilled fry sauce. *chef's kiss* The whole staff is extremely sweet. In recent visits it was warming to see the staff still has many of the familiar smiling faces from my college years. And yes. The food is still just as scrumptious as I remember. Really can't beat the location being so close to the stadium and campus. They embrace it as well with the interior being decked out in Boise State gear and collectibles while still keeping that hometown burger spot motif and feel. My mom wanted a burger, specifically a Guacamole Bacon Burger and fries, and we were in the neighborhood, having just left Rave. We went through the drive-thru and placed the order. We were shocked at the total, which came to nearly $17.00, but understood that in this economy and with grocery prices, it was what it was. We arrived at the window and waited, and waited, and waited. I knew that they cooked everything to order, but it felt like an eternity had passed since paying. Finally, the order was ready and we went home. Not only was I disappointed with the burger, but I was upset that what we paid for and the time we spent did not equal what we received. The amount of Guacamole was like a spread, and there was no deft to that burger. For the amount that we paid, that burger should have been loaded. My mom made the most appropriate comment, " Honey, Somebody shrunk my burger!" We won't be back, but at least I have my memories of a time long ago, in which Main Street made delicious burgers made with love and care and stacked with all the fixings just like in my pictures.

The Asian gentlemen that was working the counter was so nice! He helped us through the menu since it was our first time there. He took our orders and was fun and kind! My friend and I basically ordered the same thing. We snagged a hot dog corndog with potatoes and a cheese stick in it's original form. These babies came out hot!! They were fried to a perfect golden brown. I started off with the potatoe crusted dog! I dipped that baby in ketchup and mustard, it was so good! I did order some hot cheese thinking it was hot cheese but it's actually hot in spice. It was still good and had a good amount of heat to it. I took a bite of the cheese dog and it had the best cheese pull! I didn't eat much of it cause the potatoe corndog was huge! Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. The gentleman did give us a couple extra sauces to try. He gave us a couple honey packets so i look forward to eating the rest of my cheese dog with the honey. The venue was big and bright! I noticed they have one of those big garage doors. I can imagine it being a fun spot to hit up during spring and early summer. I have nothing to say but good things about this place! Staff was nice. Food was good. Venue was clean! I look first to going back and trying the hot cheetos corndog!

If you've never had Korean corn dogs before or have been craving one, this is the place to go! Obvious PSA: Korean corn dogs are different from American corn dogs since it's made of bread dough + panko instead of cornmeal. We ordered their chicken sandwich combo and a half mozzarella/half sausage Korean corn dog. I was super stoked to see that this place had actual affordable Korean corn dogs! I've been to the two other places that sell Korean corn dogs at $10+ here and I was not impressed (my creds are that I've frequented a lot of Korean restaurants and also been to Korea). The worker who took my order was a nice Korean man who even realized it was our first time visiting, so he gave us recommendations on what to order. We waited about 10 minutes for the order and we devoured it in less than that time! Definitely will be back and highly recommend it if you're in the area!
