I ordered the shrimp with noodles and some crab Rangoon...seems like too much but I've been biking, hungry! When I say I don't know if I ordered right it is really because of the lack of flavor...which is strange. The shrimp were great, hot off the flat top, fresh, nice shrimp taste! The rest of the food, bland...except for the noodles that had a burnt oil flavor from the metal flat top...not at all appealing...don't have to worry about eating too much. The Crab Rangoon were bad as well! All fried wonton, no filling...like dime-bag full! Very easy to fold these for some better presentation but I think then it would really accent the fact they were basically empty of fillings. Would not recommend! If I see them again I will double check how I order, or just try something else. Also charged $24, selected 20% tip and was charge $32? Tax, not sure but that's a lot I think. KT

He has blessed the treasure valley with amazing food and service. This food truck makes for a great lunch or dinner. Today's lunch consists of a side of fried rice, side veggies and some appetizers. The fried rice is so good! You can taste the garlic butter that's used to seasoned the rice. It's a great combination of buttery and savory. I love the minced up carrots and onions in the rice, it gives it great texture. The veggies are always cooked to perfection! I love the slight char the vegetables get from the hot grill. The zucchini and broccoli have a slight crunch to them and is not overcooked. The egg rolls were fried to a perfect golden brown. Crunchy and savory. The crab rangoons are my favorite! There's more than just cream cheese in the middle! You can taste the extra goodies in there, crab and green onion. The wrapping to cream cheese ratio is great! Paired with the sweet and sour sour, chef's kiss! It's always busy at the food truck. Everything is made fresh to order. Staff is always friendly. If you're ever in the area of Hiroyuki Hibachi, you should totally try it out!

I have been sitting on my fingers since I learned this a week ago to not have to type the news into Yelp in the magical thinking that if it wasn't said it wouldn't be true. But, very sadly, it is. Not only have Aaron and Kelly (he the inaugural chef at Juniper and she the one time business manager for Coiled winery and other food businesses) contributed greatly to people who love to eat good food through their support of local growers and suppliers to use those ingredients in Aaron's remarkably delicious creations and modeled the best customer care, Kelly's ears should be burning for how many times her name comes up when conversations are had with others about examples of "how to" for extraordinary hospitality, they have contributed much to the Boise community by being really wonderful people. Boise is the better for them being here.

They operate out of a trailer and have a whole set up of barbecues outside the trailer with an outdoor "kitchen". I was really hopeful for drop dead delicious barbecue because they look pretty serious and had a decent amount of people waiting in line. Service was friendly and reasonably fast. I ordered a brisket melt sandwich for $13. The size of the sandwich would be equivalent to a 1/4 pound cheeseburger. It came on a bun with melted cheese and the brisket. They serve dry with different barbecue sauces to add yourself. The barbecue sauce that I chose was just the basic option and it was pretty good. When I sat down to eat the sandwich, the first thing I noticed was the fatty cut of meat and many bites were about 50-50 fat and meat. it was decent but not a rave for a food truck.

A cornbread casserole, from a family recipe, could be a meal in itself. It's really good. The ribs are really good, smoky and tender. As in true barbecue style, they're served plain, without sauce. It's up to diners to decide what kind of sauce they want and how much. There's a sweet sauce and a spicy one, Carolina mustard and a couple of bottled sauces from local company My FamilyTradition. Service was friendly despite them getting busy soon after they opened on a Wednesday. They also serve pub food from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and from 11 a.m. until the food runs out on Saturday (usually between 3 and 4 p.m.). I'm glad to see them reopen their restaurant to go with their custom smoking offerings and catering menu.

When you pay, you are asked to "Pay what you think it's worth". Boise Bite because the serving size is literally one bite of food? Maybe call the truck Boise Appetizer? Here's the deal, my wife and I rode our bikes out to WestVet in Garden City while on vacation because we heard this truck was going to be there and they had lobster rolls. On their Instagram page, they advertised 11-2 (thurs 7/23). We got to WestVet at 1145 and the truck was just pulling up and they promised they'd be ready by noon. Two young guys driving and we asked about the lobster roll which they promised would blow our mind. So...we took the bait and ordered two lobster rolls for $21 each along with one La Croix for $2. Tax and tip...$53 AT A FOOD TRUCK. My wife's name got called and we got the two boxes....I honestly thought they were empty. It felt like nothing was in them. My wife peeked in to look at the lobster roll and it was the saddest little thing I've ever seen. Seriously, take a hot dog bun like you'd get 10 of them for .99 cents and picture that...but then imagine the bun was 1/3 of that small ass size. Then imagine it opened up with lobster spread across 75% of it....and nothing else. It looked like somebody packed up their leftovers and put it in a box given how much food was actually there. Was the lobster roll good? Yep...it was a different take (dijonaise instead of mayo or butter) but it worked. Here's the deal tho. You can't just open a truck, rip-off your customers, and expect the margins you are making now to persist as you will literally have no repeat business. Learn to provide quality and value...even a side of potato chips or reducing the cost of the roll to match what you are actually serving will go a long ways towards building trust with your customers and repeat business. Or, ignore this paragraph and learn the hard way. Bottom line, I've warned all of you. The pictures on Instagram and FB are misleading, the amount of food you get is disappointing at best, and the prices you are going to pay are going to leave you dejected. Out of principle, I won't eat at Boise Bite again and I'd also encourage everyone to avoid until they figure out how to balance earning a living with pleasing customers.

They added a sweet flavor to the tacos when we plopped them on top and they compliment the slightly tangy green salsa. They have a lot on the menu, and they make it all from scratch so it isn't Rocket fast... But it was worth the wait. Great job!
