So my review today is specific to ICONIC, which is their new restaurant & venue. Their location on Glenwood happens to be on my route to and from work. I stopped by on a recent weekday to get some dinner for takeout. I got two ridiculously good sandwiches: turkey with pesto & sharp cheddar and ham with brie and a fig jam. My dad and I couldn't decide which we liked best. They were hot, well-assembled sandwiches with flavors that we really enjoyed. They have a nice ramp into the front door if you need accessibility. Communication was perfect, and the food was exceptional. I had several guests commenting about the turkey sandwiches. Although they seemed simple, they had tremendous flavor. The charcuterie platter and fruit skewers were beautiful, all the food was fresh and delicious. I'm very impressed and appreciative, and will definitely work with them again if I ever have an event in the Boise area in the future.

We popped in here to ask about options and the woman working the counter, mom of this franchise owner I think, was so helpful in answering them. A very good introduction to the business. We will drop in again to try a small box for 2 as takeaway to pair with a glass of wine as casual picnic sometime at a local winery. But in general we are like that couple in Portlandia, you know the "Tell us a little bit about your chicken" people (if you don't know the bit I'll post a link below because when it first aired friends said "This is YOU" :-) ) and so we are more Olympia Provisions for charcuterie and local cheeses types. As example, we eat a mostly plant based diet and when we do eat animal proteins we buy them directly from local sustainable practice farmers. Which is no knock on this business,as they use good quality products, she brought some out to show us when we asked and these are better than you will likely get if you're picking up grocery store or big box store charcuterie trays. We also appreciated that as they can they use local veg and fruits here when those are on the trays. OPTIONS: Sizes range from a single serving "cup" ($8) to a box to feed two ($12) to boxes of other sizes and trays of multiple sizes with the top end of that designed to feed roughly 10 ($165). Photo boards in the shop show how the options are put together and a display over the counter shows prices. They offer Keto board options, Vegetarian Board options, Luxury options, Sweet Treat options that include fruit and chocolate and so on. Kira was on top of drinks at the bar and taking care of us and everyone had a blast. I will say that scheduling this event was very difficult and challenging with the person who I had initial contact with. It would take days or even weeks to get a response, I never knew what was happening and was deeply concerned with how the event was going to turn out due to her lack of communication - but these 3 made up for it and our group had a blast. It would be awesome to see some fresh updates to the space, but this is a great venue nonetheless.
