The weather was great and we walked the nursery first with our golden, and then did the drive-thru on the way home. We got a iced mochas with cold foam, and they were good- not the best coffee we've ever had, but this is such a cute and fun spot, and the coffee was good enough to go back for sure. It was a bit on the pricier side- 2 12oz iced mochas with cold foam were 15 and change- not horrible, but more than a few other spots we've tried. If you're near the area, or just want a cute spot to grab some coffee, definitely go check them out. The service was great too! Super friendly, and just a fun find.

They have an intriguing drink menu and tasty looking goodies that you can enjoy while taking a walk in the garden which is great for a hot summer day like today. I decided just to get a drink this time and while there's several of them i want to try, I went with the "Evergreen Mocha" iced for my first experience with them. It is pretty dang good.. you have to enjoy those candy chocolate oranges that are sold around the holidays to like it and luckily I do ! It came with a cute little garnish on top of the cup which was a dried piece of an orange and pine held together with honey. I can definitely see myself coming back here when in the area and feel like walking through the pretty garden. Next time I'll try out their floral offerings like the Rose Cardamom latte and perhaps a lavender and rose shortbread cookie- I'm looking forward to my next visit!

This joint is so much fun. You walk in and you're instantly bombarded with all these fun goodies to look at. Candles, socks, mugs, candy, stickers. As much as I needed that drink, I had to look and touch everything first! I love all the fun things they have out. You can literally spend a good hour checking out every piece of retail available! It was hard not to pick, touch or smell everything! Made my way up to the counter. The first thing you notice is all the baked goods. The display case was full of delicious treats. Every pastry looked divine. That's one thing about Flying M, it's a guarantee that your baked goody is going to be out of this world tasty! I have yet to have a bad pastry at a Flying M. It was finally my turn to order my drink, everyone came in all at once. I was greeted by a handsome smile. I ordered my regular drink when I spec out new spots. So today I got an iced americano with sugar free chocolate with room for cream. I made sure it was a large, I needed a good jolt of caffeine. Bro, this americano was money. The espresso was strong and not watered down. I added the cream so it was the perfect amount. I did add a couple packets of Splenda cause the espresso was not shy in this drink. It was so good! I sat outside and enjoyed it. It was the perfect day to enjoy an iced coffee under the warm sun. Flying M downtown Boise should take come customer service pointers from this joint. It's night and day. I stopped going to the Flying M downtown because the customer service was so inconsistent. Some days they were so nice and then some days the baristas were so rude. I had such a great experience here. The venue is fun. The gentleman that helped me was so nice! My drink was on point! I'm happy I stopped in today. Looking forward to coming back and getting another amazing iced americano.

I use to work at a coffee shop and the most important thing is to give the customer good service and be kind.

I just want to say Ramen is something we have only got once because the one where we are from isn't great, tried it once and never went back. This place on the other hand has awesome ramen! We ordered a beef fried rice for the kids, they chowed down on it. Was good, a little dry, but not bad at all. Ordered foxy lady and spicy girl roll, I thought the sushi was filling. The real reason for the stars though was the ramen! Ordered the spicy ramen medium expecting to eat it myself since my wife wasn't going to touch Ramen ever again and when that bowl came and the flavor hit the air she had to try it. It was her favorite part of the meal and my ramen quickly became her ramen. I did try it and would say it was amazing and we'll be back for more!

Last night as an example went in to pick up some take out and absolutely clueless. Even when they got me my order no thank you or have a nice day. Number 2 is their food I used to really like their ramen but when did chashu pork become like and over cooked burnt end. My Ramen last night was inedible besides the noodles and broth and immediately after had the worst upset stomach. Then my wife ordered a sushi roll with her ramen and they put it in the same bag with all the hot food???? So by the time I got home it was all warm. Gross she took one bite and that went in the trash along with the rest of our dinner. I would like to preface and say I procrastinated this after several more visits and has been on this downward slope each time and last night was the pinnacle. It's actually too bad because our city needs great places and I had high hopes for this place, but for now they have lost me as a customer for sure.

This review is for the Dawson Taylor coffee shop in this grocery store, not the grocery store…read moreitself. As for that, it's a grocery store, and I don't have a lot of specific thoughts about it other than you can get your bologna or donuts or apples here and stock up your cabin for your weekend getaway. The coffee kiosk here, though, slaps. Normally I avoid grocery store coffee shops because if I'm going to pay $4.00 for a cup of coffee, I'd rather have the full experience of hanging out in a cozy cafe and making sure I have a trained barista preparing my drink. However, when blasting through McCall on a day trip, it's nice to be able to stop in and pick up some groceries and get coffee at the same time, so I can get out to the mountains without wasting a moment. Picking up coffee here had me pleasantly surprised with what this grocery store could provide. My barista, Hilda, was incredibly friendly. I was impressed to see the shop was clean and looked well-kept--sometimes these places look disorganized or like they haven't been scrubbed in a month or two. Everything here was sparkling clean and there weren't dirty towels around which is always a red flag. I ordered an americano and Hilda prepared it beautifully. It had nice rich crema on top and was strong--for a 16 ounce they put in three shots of espresso, which is better than most shops. The espresso was smooth and sweet and I could tell that Hilda had it dialed in just right. The cafe offers the normal range of drinks, from standard brew (they usually have a dark and a medium roast available), to cappuccinos and lattes as well as iced teas and smoothies. I haven't tried any of the blended drinks but all the espresso beverages I've had have been perfect. A latte I tried had beautifully steamed milk with creamy foam and just the right amount of vanilla flavor. If you need a caffeine pick-me-up, definitely stop here. It might be the best coffee in McCall, even though it's in a grocery store. Sometimes you have to wait for a barista to be called from the back, but it's normally just a few seconds to wait and for me, it's always been worth it.

For the past month, we've been purchasing produce Onions, Broccoli, carrots, etc...and when we get it home and start preparing it we realize it's bad...cut into the onion the center is brown though it appears fine when we bought it...broccoli covered in brown spots up near the crown where you can't spot it until your chopping it up. We cook daily in our house so we're buying fresh FREQUENTLY. It's really frustrating when we have to make another grocery run and go somewhere else for better produce as Ridley's is 5 mins away compared to the other options and we've wasted an unfortunate amount of money thinking it was a one off issue on produce we couldn't use and had to toss. This has become a consistent issue we aren't seeing at other shops. We've also noticed the supplier selling them cilantro is mis-labeling Parsley as Cilantro which is visibly hard to notice, but smell/flavor wise is quite obvious and frustrating. Overall once we realized this was a consistent issue we stopped buying produce at Ridley's which is a real bummer. It's become a situation where we go to Ridley's for everything else BUT fresh produce.
