Chipotle chicken taco, carne asada taco and quesabirria
    Dani S.

Fiesta Chicken was my dinner choice tonight. I appreciate that they have a drive thru. I normally grab the chipotle chicken tacos from Fiesta Chicken but I wanted to two something different tonight. The gentleman at the intercom took my order. I snagged the 3 piece chicken with mac and cheese and potatoe salad add my sides. I also got a couple flour tortillas and mild salsa with my order. I'm not gonna lie, I opened my to go box and was quite stunned. One of my drumsticks was almost the size of a Hershey's fun size chocolate bar. It was so tiny. My second drumstick not was much better. Quite disappointing really. The seasoning on the chicken was good. The texture of the chicken wasn't tender but it wasn't dry. It was ok. The mac and cheese was decent. It was not hot or warm. The potatoe salad was good. The potatoes were cooked nicely and did have a good amount of dressing on it. I think I'll stick to the chipotle chicken tacos. This meal was disappointing. Paid 14 bucks for 3 tiny pieces of chicken. You really don't get your money's worth stuff this meal.

2 chicken street tacos, 1 carne asada. Super great! Chicken was

I never would have thought the best tacos in Idaho would be this place? Never gave it the time of day? Finally tried it and Im addicted! Best chicken hands down! Best char! The street tacos are great! Highly recommend this place:)

This is my fourth time at Fiesta Chicken. I swear, the food just gets better and better. The portions are huge and the price is cheap! I indulged myself with their popular Chicken Chipotle Tacos ($10.99) or as I call them, crack tacos because they're so freaking addicting I could eat them every day. Three beautifully fluffy flour tortillas piled with their wonderfully seasoned namesake chicken, fresh pico, lettuce and cheese, drizzled with their insanely good chipotle dressing that is to die for. God, these are straight from heaven. Every bite is an explosion of flavor. I want to try their other dishes, but each time I step into this establishment my mouth starts to water at the thought of these. You've gotta try them to know what I mean! My husband has his go-to as well, and it's equally as delish - the Three Piece Leg & Thigh which comes with two sides. This round he chose Mac & Cheese and Mexican Rice. Okay yeah, the chicken is extremely tasteful as always and the rice was cooked to perfection, but holy cannoli that Mac & Cheese was outta this dang world. The noods were so soft they melted in your mouth. I'm guessing they add cream cheese or something of the sort because it was comfort food to a whole other level! Not to mention, the scoop was insanely big. entire platter posted with this review was only $9.99. It's hard to find such great food for reasonable prices in Boise. This almost seems too good to be true. The woman who took our order is the same who has done so previous times, maybe the owner? She's really sweet and patient. She always thanks patrons as they walk out. I'm already fantasizing about my next visit to Fiesta Chicken. Will I branch out or succumb to my needless desire for those tacos? I better head back soon to find out.

Came here this past week and really enjoyed it. Since they don't have El Pollo Loco here (In California this is a staple Mexican grilled chicken spot) this was for sure the next best thing. I had the 1/2 chicken with 2 sides (rice and beans) with flour tortillas. Simple dish that was well executed. The chicken had lots of great flavor grilled to perfection as well as juicy on the inside. They also have a fresh salsa bar to compliment your meal and all the freshly made salsas were delicious. They in addition have lots of other choices to choose from but remember their specialty is chicken so that's what a lot of the menu is catered to. So please don't leave any reviews about they didn't have X YZ because again it's specialty is chicken. Staff here was really nice and everything was met with a smile. For sure a new go to spot for grilled bbq chicken in the Boise area.

The chicken is the star here. Marinated and then charbroiled, it comes out crisp and tasty. It's as good as anything I've tasted. On my second visit, I tried one of their chipotle chicken tacos, which came highly recommended in a recent Idaho Statesman story. It was really good, but I like the chicken so much I may stick with it during future visits. Some other reviewers have complained the tortillas were on the dry side and unappetizingly crunchy, but that wasn't the case with the taco I had. That story also increased the popularity of the restaurant. On a recent Saturday, there were 23 customers 12 minutes after they opened. On a Saturday! Better get there early. The Robles family is planning to open a second location, at the old Wendy's on South Orchard Street in April. It will have about three times the size of the Ustick and Five Mile location. Service was friendly and the meals come out pretty quickly. Great restaurant for Boise.

Think El Polo Loco but authentic!!! Outside was Boise, inside was like being in Latin San Diego. Being one of the few gringo customers attest how authentic the food is. So. 1/2 chicken & 2 sides was two meals for me. The chicken was grilled over an open flame & seasoned (lime + ??) to perfection. The "street" tacos were very good as well. All prices under $10, so great taste along with reasonable prices.

After my son recommending this place over and over we finally ordered tacos one night. Hubby brought chipotle chicken tacos home for dinner and we were never happier. They are big flour tacos. One isn't enough but two is too much for me (I'm a small eater) but the guys easier put three-five down. They are spicy! But not too spicy! Def you need to try them!

So. Much. Food. For such a little price tag

This is a very unique little joint. It has most of the traditional Mexican foods that you would expect to see in Idaho. But it also has fried chicken, homemade macaroni and cheese and the best broccoli salad. It's kind of a mix with Southern cuisine, I guess? Either way, it works! And it means that more people can enjoy the cuisine together. I've never actually been inside, because drive throughs. With little human beasts, drive throughs just get me. I have been extremely impressed with the service in the drive through! Fast, courteous and always with a smile. They also maintain their picture worthy presentation in the drive through. My burrito to go still had the same giant beauty of one served in house. We've had the chipotle chicken tacos, carne asada street tacos, green chicken burrito, beef burrito, all the sides, and the fried chicken. I have nothing negative to say about any of them. I love the chicken that they use inside the burrito. It must be pulled from the fried chicken, because it is on the drier side, which I love! It is packed with flavor. I will say, everything we have ordered has a kick of spice, so if your tongue is on the wimpier side of the Scoville scale, you might want to check with staff first.

Best burrito I've had since moving to Boise. Many of my co-workers recommended stopping by and I am glad they did. I wish I lived closer.

Salsa bar was empty, spent $24+$5.00 tip. Wanted to change me for two little cups of sauce. Been going here for seven years.

It's very inviting, if not decadent feeling. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were lacking. My mocktail was recommended by our server, but it was much too sweet, and had a weird aftertaste. We ordered chips, guac, and it came with two versions of salsa. One was incredibly bitter (tasted very vinegar-y), while the other just tasted strange. Neither me or my husband like it. The guac, however, was very good. We ordered the Seafood Ceviche, which is a dish we usually love, but not so much here! It was covered in an orange sauce that was overly acidic. It was so much and so acidic, we couldn't taste the seafood. It was lost in the sauce. It seems as though whoever's in the kitchen lacks some culinary intuition. The staff were good. It'a dimly lit, even during the day, for those with sight issues.

I've been here for almost 2 years and the BEST Mexican food I have found was in Twin Falls. NO I do not want to go to Twin Falls to get Mexican food, especially w/ the price of gas now. I was searching online for a new restaurant to go to for lunch and for some reason "Garibaldis Garden City" popped up. First, Garibaldis, does not really sound like a Mexican restaurant, but after reading the reviews and checking out their website, I am thinking why not...can't be any worse than Andrades, Chapala or Barrigas. Went in around noon, not crowded, but again its gorgeous outside, and I like a relaxed atmosphere. We sat at the bar, our server (bartender) Michael (who is from San Diego) was great. We really didn't need any recommendations because I already had set in my head what I was going to order. We started out with the "salsa flight", 3 different salsas, 1 smokey hot sauce, 1 more chunky and a mango habanero" which all 3 were very good. I loved that there was actually some spice and heat in all 3. Okay, the Mango it grows on you, the more you eat it the better it gets. We also ordered a maggie on the rocks w/ Casa Amigos Reposado and a ranch water with the Blanco. I also ordered the Coctel Garibaldis, which is shrimp & octopus and the shrimp was nice and large and the octopus was a nice size, NEITHER was mushy, THEY BOTH tasted so fresh (enough to share). For our main, Chicken Fajitas and Carne Asada....I normally do not like the refried beans here in Boise at the Mexican restaurants we have tried, but these beans tasted like HOME, LIKE MY MOTHER IN LAW MADE THEM~! The chicken fajitas ...there was actually MORE CHICKEN than peppers which is a 1st...and it was huge slices and chunks. My Carne Asada, OMG, huge amount and it was so flavorful, I doubt I could have done any better. NOW, I am a tortilla snob and I make my own flour tortillas, but THEY HAD SERIOUSLY LITERALLY the best DAMN corn tortillas I have tasted in YEARS! They almost look like flour, but once you taste them, incredible. We (he) ordered the Coco Flan for dessert, I don't do dessert so I ordered the Casa Azul Anejo....met 2 women drinking Maggies, we agreed, if we are going to do calories, we are drinking them and not eating them...but in all, the SERVICE, Food, the atmosphere, was all worth it. Will we go again, YOU BET, I may even have to sneak over for a few lunches by myself it was that good. Again, thanks Michael, you were on Point!
