I took a small bite and agreed with him. * Sisig - very gamey. Actually, all three pork dishes had an almost pungent pork-taste. I know some people don't mind it, it just wasn't my style. * Turon - good flavor but not crispy. * Ube Shake - hands down the best thing on the menu! I would've loved to enjoy Authentic Taste of the Philippines more than I did. The owners are so sweet. The fried rice is so good! You can taste the garlic butter that's used to seasoned the rice. It's a great combination of buttery and savory. I love the minced up carrots and onions in the rice, it gives it great texture. The veggies are always cooked to perfection! I love the slight char the vegetables get from the hot grill. The zucchini and broccoli have a slight crunch to them and is not overcooked. The egg rolls were fried to a perfect golden brown. Crunchy and savory. The crab rangoons are my favorite! There's more than just cream cheese in the middle! You can taste the extra goodies in there, crab and green onion. The wrapping to cream cheese ratio is great!
