My husband was concerned about a drain pipe next to where the cement would be poured, and was worried about it being damaged during the dirt removal. After the dirt was removed, Alex ran water down the drain to show us that the pipe was undamaged. He listened to my husband and made sure to pour the cement a couple inches from the drain pipe, so there was no chance of any damage. Alex was also very flexible with scheduling. He was able to reschedule the cement pour day on short notice, so that my husband would be home on that day. Alex and his crew arrived on time, which I appreciate. I've had a lot of work done in the past, and it always upsets me when contractors are late. What makes this worse is that the company initially responded with explanations that did not match reality. Only after I posted photos showing the damage did their response change, when the evidence could no longer be disputed. This has been an ongoing nightmare, and this update is being posted so others are fully informed. I am continuing to document everything and will be sharing additional photos and videos that show the full scope of the project, the condition it was left in, and the sequence of events that led here. I truly wish I didn't have to write updates like this, but the situation continues to deteriorate.
