This is an honest review. I attempted to be fair and even edited my review to be shorter and more…read moregenerous. Unfortunately, the owner continues his online crusade to discredit me and I'm backed into a corner to prove the legitimacy of my concerns. I've added a video showing yellowing throughout the house. This is not a moisture issue. When the work was finished caulking was not yellowed, but I found several areas throughout the house that were not caulked at all. I was also was unhappy with the gap between boards and the floor. The owner is correct when he says I signed a contract indicating that this would not be done. I was guided into this and later found out that it is not always standard practice. Nonetheless, I signed this contract and feel that it would be unfair for me to grade based upon this problem alone, hence the updated increase to my rating. When painting was finished I did voice my discontent with the way things turned out. The owner became defensive about his work. His strategy was to deflect these concerns as a me problem, rather than a workmanship problem. I can remember feeling pressured at the end of the job to agree that things were satisfactory and reluctantly paid. There was no call back to fix the yellowing because his arrogance turned me off. I did not want him back in my house. I've lived in the house for years, looking at my unsightly baseboards. Every time I walk through my hallways I'm reminded of how frustrated I am that I paid good money for this. I do not like publicly shaming a company, but in this case it's necessary. After years I finally posted a review. The bottom line is that the job is substandard. I have to have things repainted at my own expense and I'm very disappointed about it.
