As I entered my 40s however I realized that some of the exercises that worked for me prior were no longer effective. I lost strength, energy, muscle definition and worst of all, motivation. At the beginning of 2026 one of the Vasa specialists recommended I try a strength class. I was intimidated but intent on trying anything. In comes Danielle, the trainer. She brings the fun, plays great music and let's talk about the knowledge she imparts on her students. Why every move and the science behind it.. I learned so much in every class. Each session i felt challenged yet supported. Danielle thoroughly observes everyone regardless of how full her class is and makes note of progress being made, or needed corrections. I'm now 10 months in. I feel stronger, more confident and have wayy more energy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I've never felt better..

And on one occasion, we were playing on one of the three courts and summer camp kids came to play on the other two. They have 9 pickleball courts on the roof, which is awesome in theory. The catch: it gets pretty windy up there, so realistically only about 2 of the courts (indoors) get used regularly, which makes reservations tough to snag. Open play is a lot of fun though, so if you can get in, it's a great time. One honest gripe: It feels like they turn the AC to the lowest setting and it gets quite hot when you work out. Sometimes it feels even cooler outside than it is in the gym. You'd think this gym would be well air conditioned. Other than that, it's a clean, well-run gym. Recommend, especially if you're into pickleball!

We have been long-term Life Time members, and the condition of the outdoor pool at Flatirons this…read moresummer has been incredibly disappointing. The pool itself is consistently dirty--dead bugs, leaves, dirt, and even trash in the water. There is regularly a visible sheen of sunscreen and grime collected around the edge of the pool, which is absolutely disgusting. The pool deck isn't much better, with trash left around and even chewed-up gum on the ground. On top of that, the wasp problem is out of control. There are so many wasps around the pool that people are getting stung, and the apparent solution is to have pool deck employees walk around with cans of Raid spraying them. That is not an appropriate or reassuring solution for a family pool area where people are walking around barefoot and children are playing. At the beginning of the summer, I assumed we had just caught the pool on a bad day. After seeing the same conditions repeatedly all summer, it's clear this isn't a fluke--it seems to be the standard state of the pool area. For the membership prices Life Time charges, members should absolutely be able to expect a clean, sanitary, and properly maintained pool and deck. As long-term members, we expect significantly better and are genuinely disgusted and disappointed by the way this area is being maintained.

They cater each workout to your specific abilities, needs and interests to make it as fun and as effective as possible. You really get more than your money's worth with Obstacle Destruction. I work out with them 4 times a week, and one of the really nice things is that while I work with different trainers depending on my schedule that day, they really communicate well with each other so that they build on the previous day's program even if they weren't my trainer that day. Their attention to detail and care is evident. They check in with me every session to see if I'm feeling particularly sore, if I'm getting the recovery time needed to avoid injury and how I'm feeling in general so that they can make sure the workout that day is appropriate. They talk to me about my goals and work with me to make sure they are doing everything they can to help me achieve them. I've worked with all of the trainers at various times, and while each of the them has their own style, they are all really great to work with. Their energy, positivity and encouragement really help you keep moving to try to do a little better each time. Even if you show up to your session feeling like it is the last thing you want to do, their energy is infectious and by the time you leave you are feeling so much better and so glad you came. This gym is a very private, comfortable place to work out and sweat hard.
