Came in on a guest pass of my friends to try out a Pilates class while I was in town. This gym is really nice (although it should be for the price they're paying per month). But I do think you get a lot here, there's a ton of classes. The reformer Pilates class was a great workout. The locker rooms are really nice and clean. With hot tub and sauna. They apparently have a pool on the roof which sounds really nice for the summer. And my friend said they have daycare which is really nice for families with kids. read more

Fast-forward to me standing in the back row, flailing like an inflatable tube man outside a car dealership. Enter Kristen -- part dance coach, part motivational speaker, part miracle worker. Kristen's energy could power a small city!!! She somehow made even my two left feet feel like they belonged on some kind of stage (probably comedy, but still). She breaks down every move hat even I, a man whose primary workout is lifting them first-floor rates with an occasional job on the treadmill, managed to survive -- and dare I say, almost thrive??! Her playlists? Fire. Her attitude? Infectious. Her ability to hype up a group of sweaty, slightly confused women plus me? Truly impressive. Thank you, Kristen, for making a total dance newbie like me feel welcome, for giving Christy and me a new date morning idea, and for showing me that even dads can drop it like it's hot, drop it like it's hot, drop it like its hot.... but I digress.. I like Life Time very much. They provide a lot of features which other gyms don't have. I enjoy working out with sufficient equipments around, the hot tubs in the locker rooms, and the workout classes they offer. However, given the price of their membership, they can do better with cleaning the machines, showers, and yoga mats. I often find hair all over in the shower rooms in the women's locker. I also notice that people rarely clean up the yoga mats after use and are very dusty/dirty. It would make the gym experience so much better to see good hygiene. read more

I e been doing the tour of Life Times since we're gonna be here for 2 weeks and by far this location is my fav. I really like the lay out of the club as it's wide open. I don't shoot hoops but I like how you can watch as you hit the machines or do curls. I like how the thread mills are on the 2nd floor plus a bonus of a fridge where they have cold eucalyptus towels! Super. The staff is friendly especially at the daycare. I've taken my son twice and they especially sweet to our 5 month old. The parking lot is huge so no problem there. For example: the leg extension machine has been out of commission for 2 weeks for a broken cable. Does no one own a screw driver? Life Time's remodel, patience, along with many changes, such as converting tennis to pickle ball has lead to a burgeoning club with strong membership numbers. The equipment is kept in excellent condition as are the locker rooms and other areas. I hear the classes are top notch as well. The cafe menu is smaller but still hits the spot and the outdoor pool is rocking for Summer season. I am happy to see the membership grow and diversify with more young people around. Been with lifetime for less than a year and have been loving it so far. Flat irons location is special being smaller compared to the other locations but really enjoyed my facial with Elise and my hair taken care of by Kelly! They are an absolute 5 star experience, but coming here with a 3 star because of yoga instructor (I believe her name was sarah). Just before class my guest and I ran into her in the bathroom she scolded us for taking towels that were sitting in the bathroom with no sign. It was embarrassing as I was trying to show my guest how nice the facility was to join- but after that rude interaction, unfortunately it discouraged my guest from signing up for a membership. I've been a member here for only a few months and I love it! Yes, the price is a little high, but the amenities make it worth it! The classes alone are great on top of the amazing pool. The cafe is great too, although you do have to buy food/ drinks separately. They also have a full spa which I can't wait to try! It was a great in my neighborhood until I froze my account for a month due to travels. I was not informed about any membership fee increase when I asked about the account freezing options. Then a month later, my monthly fee increased $60+ per month with a short notice (like 10 days before charging). I asked the gym staff if this will happen again if I choose to freeze for another month because I have many travels this year, and they told me it's no guarantee. The price is really not transparent here! It seems they can increase as much/frequent as they want to your card if you make any changes to your account. I also did call the gym and try to figure out the rules by talking to someone at their business department, and the phone was never picked up. I gave 1 star to the great instructors they have, but really disappointed with their management. read more

Alright it's been 4 years now that we have been going to Lifetime Flatirons. 3 years since my last review. Things have really improved here. Everyone that works here is amazing. I mean literally everyone. Joyce that is the membership manager is always out and about and knows everyone by name. She and everyone of her employees that she supervised always treat us like we are family. You can tell she must be a really great supervisor to have based on how happy all of her people are. The building engineer is also one that really takes the time to get to know the members and talks to everyone. What a friendly guy! We love everyone that works in the kids center, they take such great care of our daughter and she gets so excited to see all of them. They have been taking care of her since she was 3 months old and 2 years later it's the same people looking after our girl. The customer service here can't be beat. I've gone to other locations and this one just blows everyone else out of the water. The building is always in great shape, things get repaired quickly. There is always someone cleaning the locker rooms. The outdoor pool in the summer is my go to place to be! My only complaint would be this... some of the members don't realize that actual humans are the ones cleaning up the locker room. Don't leave towels all over, or over pile towels in the bin by the hot tub, walk 5 feet to the empty bins. Now that's, not a reflection of the business at all and I will say it seems the bad egg members are starting to leave the gym. This is the first gym I've belonged to that I absolutely love. I enjoy coming here, it's not a struggle for me to get out the door to workout. I never feel intimidated or like I don't belong here, which was a huge problem at any other gym I have belonged to. ReView update... been going consistently 2yrs now and it's getting expensive; rates for new members are steep. The best value is the kids academy which gives you 2.5hrs of kid care a day...12 free weekend events per year. The class instructors are awesome and very personable. The classes are hard and kick your a** so worth going. Personal training is $$$ but i hear it's good. Pilates has had too much turnover ... only one instructor now and her classes are always full... Cleanliness is hit or miss during busy times...full service so that's what you're paying for...just show up. read more

Thank goodness it is finally open. I am truly impressed by the amazing renovation! Life Time is my new home away from home. They have everything your heart desires. Let's start with the staff. They are very helpful and friendly. The club is very hectic right now and they are making the transition perfect. The classes are diverse and there is something for everyone here. The trainers are awesome, very enthusiastic and helpful. Just what I need to keep me going with my fitness goals. The locker rooms are luxurious. Clean and they have every amenity you could want. The ladies locker room has a dry and steam sauna, Jacuzzi, and they provide all the toiletries even blow dryers. One thing I missed was being able to grab a protein shake or a healthy bite to eat after my workout. Well now I have the Life Time Café. I love their food. They make it extra convenient with their app. You can order ahead via the app and your smoothie will be waiting for you. Speaking of the app, it is so convenient to view the class schedule and to keep track of your visits. Be sure to check out the spa. All first time services are 40% off. LT Flatirons was a decent place, but as in many other places, it is just losing value. The price increased a couple of times this year. The club is not what it used to be. The towels are falling apart. They are so old that many have holes in them. For a month, several machines were not working. I paid for three PT sessions, but I only got one because the trainer's wife's uncle was sick. I saw the so-called trainer a couple of weeks later, and he ignored me and never rescheduled. One weekend, I had an issue with one machine, and the girl at the front desk could not help. She was very dismissive, and when I asked to speak with the manager, I was told that the manager did not work on weekends. The clubs are not improving; on the contrary, they are getting worse, and the only increasing thing is the price. They changed the tennis courts, and after that, if you wanted to play tennis, you had to go to a different club and, depending on your membership, pay extra. The eucalyptus towels are supplied once a week, so sometimes they are all gone by Friday, and the place where the towels are kept cold is empty for at least three days. It is impossible to talk with someone in charge on weekends, and all we are told is to send him an email. There are showers in the men's locker rooms that needed repair, and it took over a month to fix them. One of them still does not have the blue and red dots keeping the two holes open. I go to Broomfield often for meetings. I usually stay close to the club so I can get in early and out early. My home club is the Colorado Springs club and it doesn't hold a stick to this one as far as cleanliness. I talked to the cleaning lady for two mins and she doesn't stop moving. She is an asset to this club. Give her a raise and move her to Colorado Springs. Colorado Springs could definitely use her to clean the filth. Weights are fairly good, but tightly cramped compared to other clubs I've been to. Maintenance guy does more chatting than working. However, I think things are better maintained in that area than CS too. Worth the price in my opinion. read more

After 1 month dues were raised $17. Spoke to manager and was told dues were raised for all members. Good instructors but classes are so full it's hard to get a good workout. Giving them two stars out of courtesy to instructors. Was also told you have to give 30 days notice to quit! They didn't give me 30 days notice to raise the rates!! I was a charter member at Lakeshore and was told my dues would be based on that. Didn't mention that it would be for 1 month!! Life Time Athletic is a decent place to workout, although they are very commercialized. Everything they do is around making money. Their snack bar is decent but expensive. Their facilities are very clean and modern. The equipment is new and the staff is very professional. The parking lot is always crowded and finding a space is a bit of a pain. I had a membership here for a year and while it looked nice upon first checking it out I noticed it was just a jazzed up version of every other gym I've gone to. What a surprise. They have classes but there doesn't seem to be many advantages to advance. So the routines quickly get boring and unchallenging. For as large the facility is, the amount of space to use free weights is MINIMAL as they cater to an abundance of machines and an area for other members (who pay more) to use. Unfortunately the "we want you to spend more money" vibe is so apparent here and puts a stink on the place regardless of how "nice" it is. read more

Mask compliance was terrible. Great haven for no-maskers. Staff said all the unmasked had medical exemptions. Statistically unlikely. Costs 1 star. Since the mandate lifted only 2 members in the entire gym chose to wear masks. You will see more thoughtfulness at local rec centers. It's a curious anomaly in an otherwise conscientious community. Oddly, now CNN appears to be blocked on the equipment televisions. Seems intentional. Pretty amusing. This gym is one of the best equipped and spacious. Definitively a luxury gym compared to rec centers. You do pay for the difference. The kids find the slides and water play areas inside local rec centers to be more fun than what lifetime offers inside. There are also far more swim and other programs for kids at rec centers. My son works with very heavy weights and found their equipment to "wimpy". The carelessness of the staff in the locker room that caused my injury by hitting me in the ear with a huge basket of laundry made us quit - but then they had the audacity to bill me for membership - all while I was being very kind about not suing them for negligence. Check out the rec center renovation at Louisville - it is so much nicer and 1/2 the price. If you have Silver Sneakers, it is free, and they have pickleball, indoors and outdoors and several other options not available at Lakeshore - like soccer. My son says that the heavy weights are much better, and the cycling with views of the Flatirons are amazing. Apparently the staff at Life Time are complaining that I posted the assault - when they should be thanking me that I didn't pursue litigation. Their insurance company should be appalled. read more

So far the jury is out on this gym and this is my initial review after 2 months of being open. Pros: Clean towels, steam, sauna, hot tub in women's locker room. Variety of classes Indoor pool, most of the time you can get a lane to yourself Good location for Interlocken workers Cons: Both my coworker and myself have emailed them with complaints or questions and the contact link on the webpage must go to the black hole because they are yet to respond. The parking lot is packed so you have to get there before 5 to find a spot. Yoga classes, don't expect a quiet experience and go to the front as you will get blasted out by music. I left a class one night as I asked the instructor to turn the music down and she did but it went right back up. The next class I went to the front and it was much better. I also expected instructors to walk around and correction positions because they removed the mirrors and I've yet to experience a class where instructors are helping people not get hurt with teaching them the proper position. I've yet to see an instructor actually demonstrate a position during class and the Flow classes are frustrating and I see a lot of people get confused and just end up stretching or doing childs pose. Barre class is a good core class but get there early as it's super crowded. The women's locker room is clean but don't walk around in your socks as the dark tile near the lockers is dirty. Several people have asked for the water fountain back in the women's locker room and almost 2 months later we still don't have one. Most of the elliptical and tread mills are facing the center of the room instead of looking outside at our beautiful Colorado scene. If you want to look outside over the pool area , go to the machines on the far side. I was told at opening they may change to Diamond level after redoing the pool area and if that means another increase in membership I'll probably cancel. read more

So I had to wait a few months to give this place a try because I'm not partial to change not on my terms and a Change this gym is! I was with Lakeshore the previous name for almost 10 years even before moving here and was really sad just when it started growing on me, the rug was pulled right out from under me! I feared they wouldn't have Christina and Dan F. who are the Best zumba instructors, hired for this new gym, but to my surprise YES YES YES they are still there!.. Now the new gym is a chain and it has a lot more equipment, but upstairs is like a commercialized chain and equipment facing each other and well no privacy. I don't mind because it ain't my thing, but I am bummed they took out the wall climbing area where there use to be a single TRX strap I could privately workout. They have a lot more weights and the area is bigger, but they need more mirrors to see if my form is proper. I do love the my Spartan Class I took up, you have to pay about 150$ minimum 3 month extra, but SOOOO worth it! I need the motivation accountability to push myself on lazy days. It's a bit crowded with Team Alpha and other classes going on, but hey it keeps you aware and on your toes to focus when training. The classes upstairs where zumba is, is smaller and really crowded because they split the old rooms. The bathrooms are redesigned and nice and people at the front desk are nice. I'm not use to the whole suit thing because I feel uncomfortable just seeing suits in a gym that you sweat you butt of in, but hey that's not a deal breaker. The spa is Awesome though and I got me a hydrafacial there and the products are much better than my old spa that was there. They offer medi spa treatments, but my doctor across the street is Way more affordable and well, frankly The best, so I won't be doing anything in the spa aside from facials. I prefer this place over the Orchard one on 144th "muscle head meat market" this place is similar only because my old gym was Not at all like it is now. The clientele is a bit different, but then again I purposely try to be oblivious and well....let's be real I'm there to work out and people watch or make friends. I've met some nice people though in the Spartan class and our trainer Matt is da Bomb and man do we work out!!! My hubby actually wanted me to sign up, just so I could find me a new team so he doesn't have to do it with me. lol All in all It's growing on me, but change is hard when you get to my age and set in your ways. I do like the cafe, albeit pricey and their shakes are ok when I am to lazy to bring my own or waiting for hubs to finish and hanging out. I wish though they had more stretching areas and privacy, but well that is minor. It's growing on me and definitely has improved esthetic wise and I like that it still feels somewhat cozy. I give it a 4 only because I've yet to explore everything else and it is still growing on me. I'll update after I've tried everything else. I have been coming here for over a month now- the classes are great! They aren't overly packed and when doing the machines I never have to wait for one to open up! This gym is very clean and organize and the staff is all super friendly! The locker rooms are nice, the showers are exactly what you need and there is plenty of space. I like that no matter the time of day you come (i have come at 530am, 12pm and 5pm) there are people but its not super busy! There is also a big range of people which is comforting that i don't need to be super fit to feel comfortable. They have a roof top tennis court- i haven't seen it- and they have a cafe and personal trainers, kid area, and a salon! I use the sauna every time i come!! LOVE IT! I cant wait for the pool to open up! Looks super nice and cant wait to use it! No complaints so far! read more

I was visiting the Boulder area recently, and worked out at Life Time since I am a member at the Centennial club. Facility was very nice, different layout from what I'm used to. Everyone was super welcoming, and everyone had a smile. Talked to a lot of the employees and they were exceptional. High end fitness center! Labeled as an Onyx level club, due to its "small" size, but provides Diamond level services. The cafe is chock full of healthy and delicious foods! There are gluten free, dairy free, vegan, paleo, keto, and detox options. I highly recommend the Harvest Salad, Turkey Club, and the Vegan PB & B(peanut butter and banana) smoothie! Everything is organic and made fresh daily, right before your eyes! The Grab and Go meals are deluxe and delicious, and made everyday. I like the Tuna Togarashi and the Breakfast Hash the most. They have a huge array of protein bars, supplements, and powders! I really enjoy the B Up and No Cow Bars, as well as the Lenny & Larry Protein cookies. The spa is very luxurious and aesthetic and everyone is a top notch professional. They have hair stylists, waxers, nail artists, and masseuses who are all top notch and beautiful. When your nail artist has bomb nails herself, you know you mani is going to turn out amazing too!! The kid center is way more than a kid center. It has tutoring, yoga classes, karate lessons, soccer lessons, Spanish lessons, and so much more to name a few! It isn't your normal gym daycare. Their classes are all super fun, super motivating and super professional. There are flashing lights and pumping music and the trainers are all so energetic and speak loud and clear even when everyone else can barely breathe. I really like the Dance Fusion class, Hot FLOW Yoga class, and Gluteus MAXout. Most of the classes are complimentary with a pass, but some, like Team BURN or Pilates, cost money. I really want to try the SoulCycle Class! It looks really really difficult though. The workout area is futuristic and high tech. There are scales that measure BMI, Fat percent, Skeletal Muscle Mass, and Water Weight with PIN number and everything to log your progress. All the machines have headphone jacks, touchscreens, and access to the internet, Youtube, Bluetooth, and even Facebook! Some of them even have USB ports to plug your phone into (the floor also has outlets). The weight area is intense. There are pads and heavy duty setups for lifting massive barbels and straps and weights galore! The locker rooms are really luxurious with showers, lotion, mouthwash, razors, wipes, Q-tips, hair dryers, card-activated lockers, and full body mirrors. The sauna, steam room, and hot tub are also really nice as well as the pool. read more

What started as a new, clean and well maintained facility has deteriorated into a filthy, poorly staffed and overpriced health club. Everyone working out wears ear buds and techno-rap music is piped in so loud its annoying. Smiling staff often reminded of what needs immediate attention does nothing about complaints. Signs in the Mens spa area have a subtle reminder that, "Showers Are Required". I guess I'm the only person who can read. No one understands the Colorado Health Department rules and regulations because no one showers before entering the hot tub, sauna or steam room. 5 or 6 lifeguards hang out eating pizza instead of doing the routine pool cleaning, pH testing and facilities upkeep for an expensive, upscale facility. Algae is covering the grout and growing like crazy on the indoor pool. It's the closest place to go for fitness and it's a shame it's so poorly managed. For where we live, no other options. The more we have complained, the more it's obvious they do not care. Areas are closed for days until repairs are made. Time to clean house, replace ineffective management and staff. read more

The club is nice and the facilities are great, but I canceled my membership because they do not enforce mask policy. About quarter of the people in the upstairs cardio area do not wear a mask. It is like a game of cat and mouse the person working out spots an employee walking up the stairs they pull up their mask as soon as the employee leaves they drop their mask again. Downstairs you have some people who don't even wear a mask and walk around the club no one says anything. It's really the culture that is the problem. Life Time does not want to confront paying members for fear they cancel their membership. I had many conversation with the manager Joyce and nothing changed. I work as a RN and have seen the devastation this virus can do and the clubs efforts to enforce the mask laws here in Colorado boarders on negligence. I contacted the Health Dept and nothing changed. I warned the Manager Joyce about the COVID spike coming this winter in the fall. I contacted the Broomfield Health Dept and the corporate offices in Minnesota and sadly nothing changed. I warned them this could become a super spreader environment. As a RN I'm on the frontline and I've seen the devastation this virus can cause. 381,000 deaths and counting in the United States. read more

The manager, Josh, is rude and abrasive. In fact, most of the head managers that I have dealt with are lacking in customer service skills. While there are a couple of really kind people here, I've had major issues with this club. Its just not worth it to me. Probably the nicest gym north of 38th St in the Denver area. They have great ammenities and always clean. Plenty of cycling machines, yeeeiiii!!! Instructors are very nice. However many extras cost money. Pool is more than OK. And I like that the use of swimming suit is required in the jacuzzi. I am giving them four stars because they do not have electric car chargers in the parking lot. I am surprised management personnel haven't noticed the amount of Teslas and other EVs at all times in the parking lot. It is an expensive club, LT should have at least a couple of chargers. read more
