Their new facility is perfect for group classes or one on one personal training. Kendra, Blake and Scott are all certified trainers and their professional knowledge is second to none when it comes to fitness and nutrition support. This gym is great and very welcoming. They have a strict no judgement policy and just straight up fitness and working out. You come in whether there's only one trainer or maybe 5 trainers working with people everyone is friendly professional and courteous. Just fitness helps you achieve your goals and doesn't try to empty your wallet in the process. It has 24 hour access to members and have everything to machines, free weights, yoga and aerobic room, treadmills, ellipticals, row machines and other training equipment. I prefer working out early in the morning before work since it's less crowded like most gyms in the afternoons, or late in the evening. I was coming off a knee injury, had a handful of other aches and pains, and felt like my training (which I had been doing consistently for years), had started to plateau. Working with Angelo has been a game changer, and the depth of his fitness and coaching knowledge is absurd. Simply put, I've made measurable, significant gains in every area of my fitness. While I don't work directly with the other coaches or attend the classes (I use the open gym for the individual training plan Angelo writes for me) everyone on staff is friendly, helpful, and most importantly incredibly knowledgeable. There's no attitude here, just the expectation that you'll show up and work hard. Additionally - I've had multiple sessions with Liliana at EDX Bodyworks (the attached sports therapy clinic) - and she's a wizard, it's a great resource to have on hand for when tweaks and injuries pop up. I've been a member of probably 6 or 7 gyms, this is the best one yet, my membership will end when Angelo and Liliana decide to retire. No matter your fitness level, if you're serious about getting in shape do yourself a favor and give the EDX community a shot.

Jason worked patiently with me on all-over fitness and it didn't take long before I hit that goal. I've stayed with Jason, sometimes doing training session time with him and lots of work on my own at the gym. He's also amazing when I'm hurt, helping to figure out what I need to do to get back (I just turned 52) and how to avoid that happening again. I rarely have fitness goals, but this year I set another: breaking the pull-up record at my gym (29). Yesterday I did 33 and smashed that record, so I'm especially grateful for some timely help Jason gave me towards that quest. Body Balance has lots to offer. My wife is a big fan, too....
