Life Time has a big facility with lots of machines, I have never have any trouble finding available treadmills, ellipticals, stairs, or weight training equipment. Free-weight benches and floor exercise space are often in short supply during peak hours, though. The five-lane lap pool is a good 25m, and kept on the cold side - perfect for a real workout. The facility staff are friendly and are always working to bring fresh towels and keep the place clean. LifeTime's billing policies, on the other hand, are a different story. They are a lot like those of an economy airline - petty and arbitrary. For example, if you discontinue anything, whether it's a class, spa appointment, family memberships, or personal training, you will likely be billed for extras months/sessions you did not want or use, along with change fees and other random nickel-and-dime items. They already command premium membership dues for their top-notch facility, so I just don't understand why they think this is necessary. But, as long as you avoid all the extras, it's a fine place to work out. read more

This Lifetime Fitness is nestled in the Orchard Town Center Outdoor Mall area. This was strangle as I've never seen one buried within a mall area surrounded by apartment complexes. From the highway, it looked like a typical LifeTime, so it was easy to find. It's actually pretty annoying to get to though once you turn onto Delaware St. Basically it's driving through the entire mall area to get to Lifetime in the way back. You will go through over 10 stop signs, & crosswalks & speed bumps normal for the outdoor malls in Colorado. Once you get to the back where LTF is located they have a huge parking lot. It was Saturday, so the lot was at full capacity almost. Outside, they have a nice grass field (maybe turf) field. This was great to see since the Centennial & Parker ones tore out everything for Pickleball in door & outdoor( Major Boo!). The setup is 100 backward (flip flopped) from those locations. You enter on the left and go right in Westminster. We went straight to the locker rooms to get ready. We figured this was just the NEW LTF norm......guys the bathroom was dirty. Actually, this location was extremely musky and humid. The actual bathroom area with toilets and urinals was absolutely disgusting. Urine all over seats towels and toilet paper all over the floors. To be honest, I was timid on suing the bathroom. Hands down the worst bathroom I have seen in any LTF in 18 years! The bathroom still has deodorant, lotion, hairspray, etc, but not in the locker bays they are stacked up by the main sinks, used to each bay having 3 main items to use, but ok. Went upstairs for a great workout with the crew. Nice Cardio areas like normal, stretch & recovery area....not go lie the layout I'd awkward here. The machines and free weights area is terrible, I truly feel bad for the people who live out here. A lot of old outdated machines, same leather peeling issues, because again you have to maintain cleanness in your facility. Springs, Parker, Centennial Cherry Creek all have superior equipment at their locations. I must say the squat rack area is great, plenty of racks weights etc and only clean area we saw. The dumbell area is OK. They do have a lot of weights and go up to high numbers more than 1 50, 55, 60, 65, 70s, 75s etc; was inviting to see. The benches were not enough for all the space, dirty materials peeling, broken adjustment pieces on benches, etc. After we were done, we all took showers and headed to the hot tubs and outdoor pool area for relaxation & recovery. Shower areas of Men's & Women's upon reports, back were musky, dirty bathroom stalls alots of hair everywhere. I actually turned on the shower and sprayed down my shower stall to feel comfortable taking a shower in it. All the stalls around them were the same. The hot tub spa area was surprisingly very nice and actually had 100% FULL & STRONG FULLY WORKING JETS in both spas! (Finally at an LTF) The outside pool area is your normal luxury LTF pool deck to expect. There were tons of chairs to layout with the family and enjoy the sunny day. With such a big crowd, they did well of having adequate stuff for everyone outside. This was the highlight of this location. All in All this location is OK for working out & has great out facilities. Oh they still have a full sized basketball court being used for Bball, not much pickleball which is fantastic, big PLUS HERE!!! We just wish they had workers actually going around and wiping down equipment at times & maintaining the cleanliness of this facility. We've seen clear Vasa's & 24hr Fitnesses for way cheaper. We pay way too much for this facility to look & function like this for it's customers, it's disturbing to be honest. Someone dropped the ball on this location in Corporate. read more

Wow. So as previously mentioned, I've been doing a tour of Life Times near the Denver area and by far this is my least favorite. Some of The machines are older and the mens locker room was a mess. I went there around 10a on a Tuesday morning and towels were all over the locker room benches and floors. The floors of the showers had all kinds of water with towels hanging over them. The shower heads were dated and the big one was the old school way of doing their lockers by using your membership card and getting a key. Switch these locks out already. One more thing were the small mens towels at this location. Sucked. Do yourself a favor and skip this club and make the trek to the Flat Irons location or even Centennial. read more

We have been members for a few months now. Our gym experience has been positive but the childcare facility is under staffed in the summer and they have to many kids to care for. Our oldest daughter, 8, has been getting bullied by the same kids for several weeks now. She has told the staff multiple times on her own and we have recently gotten involved and mentioned it when we drop her off. Yet the same kids continue to do this week in and week out. Today my 24 month old daughter was pushing and hitting. They called me to come get her. I absolutely am happy to grab my kiddo when she's miss behaving, regardless of age. Hitting is not allow and wrong. But I reach out to the childcare director today to express my frustration that my daughter is continuing to be bullied and nothing is being done. The boys that continue to pick on my daughter stay the entire gym time in kids care. I know because my 8 year old says they normally just move her or they tell them to stop. So far she has reported multiple times the boy(s) ignore them and then continue picking minutes later. I am disappointed that directed acting as though it is my responsibility to find out the kids names and the staff names, in order for her to correct it. We plan to reach out to the general manager to discuss this. We will update the review with what's being done. We hope LIFETIME, does not endorse bullying and that they have a strong stance against it. I should not expect my 8 year old to collect the names of her bullies or myself or my husband to collect names of staff not taking care of bullying issues. BULLYING IS NEVER OKAY! read more

If you're going to join a gym, this is the one to join. There's no pressure and you get a free pass to check out all they have to offer. Believe me, the only thing they don't have is a place to sleep. Probably a good thing or people would be living there. You really want for nothing and there's not much than you cannot get. They have steam rooms, dry saunas, inside/outside pools, large shower areas, stacks of clean towels, tons of equipment to accommodate any type of work out, hot yoga, yoga, Pilates and the list goes on. The have a café for pre/post workout needs, a spa for body work and you can even get a new hairstyle or a trim. Now I know why there's no pressure to join, this place sells itself with its clean, modern and all encompassing features why would you go anywhere else? Oh did I mention it's open 24/7, so you can chill in the hot tub or work up a sweat literally anytime that works for you. read more

Have been a member of Lifetime fitness on and off since 200X. I have attended many Different locations across the US. This location is one of the locations I would avoid. I do not appreciate feeling judged by the staff due to voicing my concerns with this particular location but was brushed off as if they had no weight to them. A family member brought me here on a guest pass. As full as it was, there were plenty of parking spots. The facilities are very nice, huge, and clean. Except for the yoga mats, they smell horrible! Bring your own if possible. I tried the free hot yoga class. It could be drastically improved if the instructor would show the class how to do each move instead of verbally shouting what to do. Not everyone attending the class knows every position. I was lost many times and noticed others were as well. Overall it was a 3.5/5. There are free tampons in the women's locker room. Lots of clean towels, lotion by the sink, and plenty of empty showers. There is a sauna and steam room in the women's locker room. Both were extremely pleasant. There are two hot tubs located by the pool. You can smell the chlorine, at least it's clean right? read more

I have two children who attend this gym with me. We attended this location as we were nearby after some shopping. I dropped off my kids and the staff seemed friendly. I worked out for about 45mins before I started getting a migraine and decided to head down to sit on the couches next to the child center before picking them up. As I was walking by I heard my name but as a side conversation and I figured that they would call me or my husband if they needed me and, continued to sit down. Nothing came of it. About 30 minutes after, I decided to go ahead and pick up the kids. The girl at the front said "we JUST were about to call you" as my smallest had a dirty diaper.. After I checked the baby,I noticed that the baby had started developing a rash already. Everything started clicking and I realized that they had probably gotten side tracked with conversations between themselves and forgot to call us.. from when they were talking about me as I walked by... It has been our worst experience so far at the kids center. My kid, a one year old who stays in the carpeted play area, returned with visibly dirty hands and knees. My older kid (2) was soaked from playing on the water Fountain...she also had black socks, which some color is expected at most gyms.. but this was beyond normal play at most lifetimes I have been to. Her socks were BLACK. Obviously, dirty socks and wet clothes wasn't that big of a deal.. but with COVID it starts to tell on their maintenance or cleaning habits, and with membership prices you would expect them to have some kind of schedule set in place for that. Oh, I should mention my kids were two of four kids on site with all those workers, so this can't be brushed off as "short staffing issues." We have not and will not return to this location. Management, if you read this... maybe just set cleaning schedules and have a carpet cleaner come by every few months. read more

Been a member of Lifetime for 6 years. I typically alternate between this club and Flatirons. The staff is professional and accommodating and the facilities are great. However, during peak hours the club is unusable. It has always been crowded, which comes with the territory of working out in the early evenings, but there has obviously been a philosophy shift recently to add as many memberships as possible without regard for the overall member experience. I wish I had the luxury of using the facility during different hours, but it has gotten to the point where there isn't value in continuing to try and work out here. I pay a premium to get a full, satisfying workout at the end of my day and I'm no longer able to do so. I will be seeking alternatives to this club and recommend you do also if you value your personal space and sanity. There must be much better experiences to be had at this price point. read more

The good parts of this club are the first floor as it make you think this is a top of the line fitness club. That all goes away once you head to the 2nd floor where it is clearly just a old planet fitness. It's one big rectangle with a bunch of mirrors. Equipment and people are on top of eachother and the people that workout are a bunch who f**k bois wearing crocs and Jordans. The staff is friendly but if you are just here to workout and train. Knowing that from the beginning I told him that I had a work schedule and can do some certain times which he agreed to originally. Then he stops replying to my texts and calls after I paid for my training sessions. Then I had to call account manager and the personal trainer manager to get set up with a new trainer. Wow, I can't believe that I have never written a review for Lifetime! Here goes. Our family has been members of Lifetime for almost two years now and love it. Let's start with the childcare center - our son, The Mayor, just enjoys it. Complete with climbing things, basketball and Mac computers, there are plenty of things to keep the kiddos occupied. We love that it is never a battle when we say, "let's go to the club!" Our second favorite thing is the pool and swimming. They have both indoor and outdoor pools; and the outdoor pool has a great waterslide. We enjoy spending time at the pool in the summer. Lifetime runs an amazing swim program, and we have been happy with the results over the past year. The pricing for swim lessons are reasonable and the instructors have all been great. They have a great selection of classes and activities. Hubby also enjoys the swim classes and the spin classes; while I have enjoyed Zumba and Yoga. The Yoga studio is beautiful and incredibly relaxing. Add in that you can get a quick meal, smoothie or snack at the Life Cafe; a hair cut, massage or purchase products at the Aveda salon, and you have a place that you can practically move in to. read more

Lifetime Fitness feels like my second home. Every visit is at least four hours. I love spending time here because the it provides everything I need for good health and and self nurturing. Here are plenty of comfortable sitting areas that are nicely decorated to recover or connect with friends or just to reflect. Comfort begins with the initial phone contact as all staff are very cordial and nice. I visited on a guest pass with friend and was allowed to have full access of the facilities without pressure to join. I was sold on the amenities and the everything that said comfort and clean as soon and I walked in. There is an ample parking which is well lit at night and feels safe. After hours there are security measures for safety of guests. The locker room is always stocked to crispy clean towels nicely stacked at the end of each aisle. There are plenty of lockers and granite benches to use. It is very nice to have space to set personal items on rather than the floor. There are also vanity areas at the end of each locker aisle that have a nice sized mirror, perfect lighting, and a hair dryer for use. Bathrooms are stocked with complimentary feminine hygiene products. It is very convenient to have a steam room and dry sauna inside the locker room. There are plenty of showers and shampoo/body wash is provided with sufficient and sturdy hooks to hang personal items. The layout is impressive as there is a wet and drip dry area to transition to the locker space. What I appreciate the most is that it is super clean. I am there at least five times a week and each time I have been there in the late evening they steam clean the locker facility and it does not smell like fabuloso or bleach. There is adequate ventilation so that it does not get hot from the steam and shower. At other facilities I have had to bring a portal fan to circulate the air around me just for comfort and to reduce the likelihood of sweating after my shower. Nothing spoils a day at the spa like being hit with unpleasant odors from cleaning agents and lack of air flow and lack of space. That does not happen at Life Time. They also regularly check the chemicals in the pool and I have seen it drained and cleaned out during My visits. The aqua area is very clean and they work hard to not leave rings around the top of the water as I have seen staff scrubbing and cleaning. One can also use the mobile app to order a meal for pick up after workout then use the Life Spa for everything from facials to hair color/cut/style or a relaxing massage. My account manager, Juan, was so friendly, informative, professional and accommodating. He even gave my friend a month's free pass without my asking as she was helping me with swimming skills and he wanted to support my goals. This was after I decided that I wanted join. He also gave me a break on the initial start up without me bargaining which was absolutely delightful. I also got 50.00 toward a spa Life Spa treatment, a complimentary meal from the Life café, a smoothie, Pilates session, and swim instruction. There are plenty of fitness classes to support health goals and use the their App can sync class times with the iPhone calendar. Plenty of equipment without wait. I am very impressed with the professionalism, friendliness, and knowledge base of staff in addition to the facility and it's focus on health and comfort of members. A plus is that it is open 24 hours. I definitely recommend membership to this club/spa which use of the word gym does not do it justice. It is beyond any gym that I have ever belonged to in the past. The only thing that would make my stay complete would be sleeping pods...lol! Then they'd have to charge Colorado rent rates. Currently that are very reasonable with the monthly dues for all that they offer. Very worth the membership. read more

I sent an email inquiring about a membership several weeks ago. I spoke with a rep who was very helpful and told him I needed a few weeks before having an opportunity to evaluate if I wanted to join. After the few weeks, I received two phone calls from him within an hour. Over the next 3 to 4 hours I would receive a phone call from a different associate, a text from a different associate, an email from yet another associate. All of them asking me about joining and reminding me that today was the last day for some new membership deal. I was unable to answer the majority of these as I was in meetings all day. Needless to say, I was very upset. It is completely unnecessary to have so many associates calling the same person and in such a short period of time. I learned from the last associate to call me that if a sales rep tried to reach out to you and is unsuccessful at least two times you go into a general pool where everyone can jump all over you. No, I'm not necessarily upset at the associates as it is Lifetime's terrible system that probably caused this. I am also in sales and understand calling leads to get that last close in before a big promo ends. However, I have never felt more like "just a number". This showed me that Lifetime has zero interest in their customers outside of their monthly dues for membership. At this point whatever interest I had in joining any other facilities is now gone. read more

The building is nice the equipment is nice facilities are nice..... HOWEVER, Very upset! We have had a family membership here for a long time. We have not used it as much as we would like. Well, my wife went today and took my 12 yr old daughter. She is finally old enough to use the gym equipment. Well, they told us that my 12 yr old is now considered an adult and we would have to buy her her own adult pass!! WTF!?!?! 12 yrs old and has to have her own adult membership! She requires us for everything she is not an adult by any means. I have 2 kids old enough to use equipment now a family of 4 we should be able to use a family pass but no, we need 4 adult passes! I got yelled at after class because I was a bit late due to last minute work things I had to take care of. The class was not full and I walked in, didn't interrupt anyone, got a mat and started the workout. Instructor told me they're going to be really sticky about tardiness and I need to be on time. WTF. I pay a lot of money to go to this club and I feel I don't deserve to get yelled at being late once to a class. I see other people being late to classes and never get yelled at.... so stop. She has no concept of people working from home and the pressures we have. I can't just leave in a middle of a zoom call to get to class on time (once). Have some respect! read more

I'm an onyx member in AZ. From the receptionist through out my entire 5 hour stay, the staff was not welcoming. Layout and equipment the same as other LT gyms. The steam room and dry sauna both reside in the ladies locker room. There were no green bags for wet clothes. I spent 3 hours in cafe working on my iPad. Not once did a staff member check on my needs or wants. Guess I've been spoiled at AZ gyms. read more
