What a disappointment. Apparently the trial membership has a lot of stipulations which includes you have to come in during their hours 08-2000 so you can meet with them. I love this club - I hate this club ! I love the facility,. The friendly staff, the convenient location, its clean and well maintained, and the spa services are reasonably priced and high quality. I hate the standard gym high pressure upsell scam. Everything is an upsell; the free individual fitness assessment to sell you supplements and training sessions, access to uncrowded and premium classes, and they even have the gall to sneak in a subscription to the Lifetime fitness magazine without telling you. A special note for the yoga classes. First, all of the yoga instructors are really great. The problem is the room only holds about 30 individuals appropriately (they limit the paid class size to 20), Lifetime unfortunately tries to cram up to 40 people into free classes. Literally leaving less than 6 inches between each mat with no room to move. The quality of the overcrowded free classes has the same feel as shopping at Walmart on black Friday. Not what you are trying to achieve when practicing yoga. Lastly, if you do have any issues, you are shuffled from one person to another until you just give up. 5 stars for the quality of the club. 1 star for the endless sales scams. 1 star for the overcrowded classes 1 star for customer service read more

I am a member of this gym and I enjoy the place. First off, I've read other reviews of this and other gyms. One big complaint is the salespeople (or "membership advisors"). It's sort of an unfortunate necessity of all gyms. These guys are no more than used car salesman with better cardio. Honestly, this place is no different in that regard. If that's gonna stop you, you'll never join ANY gym. The facilities here are great. I haven't used everything here yet, but the place is HUGE. There's definitely plenty for everyone. I haven't explored or used some of the areas (sauna, rockwall), but what I have used is great. The pools are great, there's tons of treadmills and weight machines. The daycare facility is open to 9pm on the weekdays which is nice too. The only thing I wish they had are raquetball courts. They mentioned the facility in Parker has them... but seriously, I'm not going down there to find an occassional pick up game. The monthly is a little higher here, but there's no contract. I like it, I can recommend the place. It's true this place is built way the heck outa town... but it happens that I live out here, so it's a bonus to me. read more

I am a member and have been for about a year. I really enjoy this place. I was a little disappointed because they do seem to cater to a stay at home mom vibe with lots of classes between the hours of 9am and 4pm! They offer lots of kids and family classes/programs. A really cool kid's center as well, my kids love coming with me. But I work so I have to take classes after 6pm but they really did not offer any. Wow! I'm really surprised that there isn't a review on here! I've been a member of Lifetime for about a year now and I'd have to say I still like going to work out there. Sure I pass by 2 or 3 other gyms on my way there, but there's a good reason that I pass them by on my trek to the gym. The facility is nice, open and clean. The staff for the most part are very friendly and very helpful! I've never ever have had to wait for a cardio machine and there are some really good group fitness classes/ instructors and did I mention the pools and slide! I would give the facility a 5 star if the weight room area was a little larger and if there were some more repeat classes in the week. Spin is great, but some times the music selection leaves something to be desired. Overall I really like the gym. It's a little pricey and a little out of the way, but I still like working out there and that's a lot to be said! read more

I've been a loyal member for four years. I've been training for a Figure Competition, and I came in around 11p for my workout, and I asked Alyssa if someone who works there could take five minutes to film my posing routine in one of the studios. She said no, which was fine, but then proceeded to make fun of me as soon as she thought I couldn't hear her, to about 4 other employees, very loudly. "Like, I'm not going to spend five minutes videotaping you walk around!" "Can she not read the sign that says no videotaping?!" It is already kind of unnerving to ask a favor like that, but then to be made fun of when she thought I couldn't hear, really was awful. I thought this was a judgement-free gym. The gym itself is great,but private Pilates with Julie, horrible! She cancels and pretends she thought you were out of town. Went in to cancel they told me they would e petite it so I wasn't charged another month and they didn't. So I was charged for 3 months of private Pilates and have only received 5 sessions. I love the classes offered here! My favorite class by far...would be anything Melody teaches. Her dance classes are phenomenal and the club is lucky to have an instructor of her caliber. By taking her classes three times a week I dropped 25 pounds over 6 months, and actually have muscle tone. I'm not a huge fan of the other dance instructors, although they all seem nice. The dance styles would be something I'd see in a dance club, with a drink in one hand, rather than an actual workout. I'd happily go clubbing with them on a night off, but Melody has the complete package. read more

I am a current member and have a love/hate relationship with this gym. The pros: Absolutely the best family friendly gym. They have excellent kids programs and child care. The Lifetime Cafe is awesome. Great food, Great Prices, and good for you. Their swim lessons are awesome. The aquatics program in general is awesome. The yoga classes are great. The cardio section is large and clean. I love the trainers. The Cons? The parking lot is a nightmare. I can't even say how many times I've almost been hit by the person who's been driving around for 19 minutes looking for a spot and are late for their class. Its scary walking with my child in that parking lot. The administration is terrible. Both in house and corporate. I have yet to get my referral LT bonus promised without calling 5 times each time. Love this place. It feels like a resort! My main Pro of this place is the variety of classes. There are SO many and a wide variety as well. Also, the steam room is always available and it doesn't smell nasty like a lot of steam rooms can. The spa is large enough to accommodate many people, the weight room is huge, and there are a ton of treadmills. Additionally, they allow you to use the Spin room on your own when there isn't a class. Some gyms lock theirs. All in all, very happy with this place! read more

Our family joined Lifetime Fitness in Westminster not long after it opened. We still all love going there to work out on a regular basis. There is a large variety of machines and equipment. I have never had to wait for any of the cardio machines, and it is rare that the rest of the equipment is not readily available. The trainers/class instructors who work there have all been nothing less than top notch! They know their stuff and keep things moving. I will agree, though that the weight area could have been a little larger as during the busier times it's pretty packed. Also, it seems that many of the evenings, the classes end a little early. The atmosphere in the entire facility is friendly and welcoming. I have been to all of the areas and never have the employees acted like they were going out of their way to be helpful. It is a clean, well-maintained facility and to me feels more like a spa than just a gym to go work out in. I don't know what the rates are for individuals, but as a family, we feel like we get a great deal on memberships. The majority of the classes are at no extra charge. My only complaint in this area are the guest passes. For a family of 4, we only get 3 a year! I think it should be 3 per person. And since we referred a family that also joined, that should be another little bonus. If you are moving to the area, this is a fabulous resource, especially compared to the other gyms in the area. read more

I took the tour and was sold. The price is un-matched for the amenities you get. Let's not forget to talk about the childcare ...... clean place for the kids to go, plenty of staff to keep an eye on them and lots of fun things for them to do as well. A+ The activities and facilities that are family focused are nothing short of superb and the cleanliness and friendliness around every corner is fantastic. As a few people said prior, more classes at more convenient times for the working class would be a big bonus but overall I can't complain. I have my hair done at the salon too and the professionals there are quality too. Probably one of the best looking gyms I have been too. About everything you can think of in the fitness industry and they have it. I went in for a tour and got the hole car salesman vibe. Obviously they are paid off commission and needed me to sign up by the end of the month. Was only given a 3 day pass (was told the reason for 3 days was because only 2% of people who are given a full week end up coming back for a memebership)and told if I don't sign up by the end of the month the starting fee would increase by $50? You end up paying for a lot of amenities you don't use. The showers smelled bad and the cleanliness of the lockers was mediocre. It was too corporate for our taste. I'm a Colorado native and I've been working out at the Westminster Life Time for over 7 years. I've enjoined every year and recommend Life Time to friends and family regularly. The people, staff, facilities, and extensive amenities are what keep me a loyal member. I do, however, think this particular gyms responses to COVID has been effortless. I primarily workout in the early morning or after typical work hours. Most people do NOT have masks on, and social distancing is inexistent. This is a complete disregard to the state wide ordinance. I have brought this up to the staff several times and have asked countless people to please wear their mask. The response I receive from the staff is as follows, "we don't have enough staff", or "we can only ask people to please wear a mask". I do not think this gym is abiding by state governance and I am shocked it's stayed open for as long as it has. I regret this post as the gym is my life, but the enforcement and overall precautions have left me feeling unsafe for myself and my family. I would appreciate it if the gyms management/ owner took action to protect its members from this worldwide pandemic. read more

Ok if i could give zero stars i would, I am a Marine in town visiting a friend and I dropped in to see if i could get a workout. I expected to have to pay maybe 10 maybe even 15 bucks for and hour pass....oh no they said 25$ for a guest pass....I explained that i was only looking for an hour to get in a quick wt session...the lady looked down her nose at me and said "oh I'm sorry, its 25 dollars" wtf. My friend has a membership but has kids and can't come super early so she couldn't come with me for a buddy pass..the lady behind the counter was rude and very prudish and im sorry no way is any fitness center worth 25$ for a 1 hour workout Rude!!! read more

I rarely write feedback unless it is positive, however I cant seem to let one of my recent interactions go. Recently I signed up for the Lifetime body transformation challenge, after reading about it and weighing my goals I decided it would be a fun and rewarding challenge. I was motivated, excited and ready to start until the Sunday I walked in for the initial weigh in and sign in. Needless to say I have never been so demotivated and upset in my life. I was weighed and brought in to an office and sat down and pounded with "car dealership" sales tactics from the trainer. The 30 minute meeting consisted of nothing but sales for sessions, products and gear. Nothing was brought up about the contest. When I did ask questions about the contest I was handed a paper flier then right back to sales pressure. Honestly I could not have left that office fast enough. I will not compete in this challenge NOR will I ever sign up for another challenge with Lifetime and honestly I am considering switching to another fitness center after this interaction. During my membership with Lifetime I have never had a bad experience, the facility is clean, the hours are perfect, the equipment is always up and running, the classes are wonderful and the staff (minus the PT staff) are great at customer service. However this interaction has left a bad taste with me because people sign up for the challenge that need help, motivation and goals. They also look for positive reinforcement and encouragement NOT to be pounded with pushy "used car salesman" attitudes. Before this interaction I would have rated them a 5.. read more

While the gym and it's facilities are great. Their business practices are well below par. While they state that the have no long term commitments and no cancelation fees, as it was sold to us when we joined. We found out that the do have a cancelation fee, it is called you cannot quit without staying a member for an additional month. This was hidden from us when we joined, as we were under the assumption that when you quit, you quit. Basically if you quit, you must pay one more billing cycle ....aka cancellation fee. I feel that after this experience that I can never be sold on any gym membership, and cannot recommend Lifetime now that I know how they really operate. Before I found out how they operated, I was considering rejoining at some point, but now my business and money will go elsewhere. This gym was great until the day they lost my daughter in the child center. She is one years old and she's supposed to be in a designated area. Instead she was wondering around by herself and by the exit of this child care center, where she could've easily slipped out. The gym has in turn said it was my husbands fault for not making sure her sticker was on her back. Pretty sure it's the care providers of the child care to be aware of their surroundings. This is completely unacceptable. I left the well being of my daughter in the hands of these people and their carelessness almost got my daughter seriously injured or kidnapped. I have advised all my family and friends who use this gym and child care to drop their memberships and go elsewhere. read more

I've been a member for a year and I think this has been good length to provide a valid viewpoint. First off, great looking facility usually well maintained except shower stalls. Before joining, the only negative reviews I read concerned the problems at child care center. As long as you don't mind being told one thing and discovering something else when you try and check in your child you'll have no problem. As you'll see there is plenty of equipment but Monday has turned into teenie bopper hang out. Anyone else concerned about the gang activity going down in the free weight area on Monday nights ? Bottom line, Lifetime is expensive but offer a huge selection of classes and activities during the daytime. Trainers are friendly and helpful ... as long as you are buying something. (Don't wait for phone calls to be returned). As long as recognize you are $$$ in their eyes and you can deal with sales tactics you'll enjoy the place. read more

The only reason I'm going to give 3 stars instead of 1 is because of the facility itself! Its an absolute gorgeous facility and great equipment and amenities! 99% of the time you don't have to wait for the cardio equipment you need to use and you usually don't have to wait too long for weights or a bench unless its January or Monday evenings. The biggest most clean beautiful gym I have ever been to and had a membership to! They also offer plenty of spin and yoga classes that are included in your membership which is great however that should be expected because all the memberships are very expensive. The hardest thing to deal with at this Lifetime location is the staff. Especially the front desk, sales (membership advisers), and personal trainers. Ive been to a lot of elite gyms so I get the whole mentality of Lifetime fitness but I have to say, the staff here is very uppity and stand off-ish! The nicest staff in the whole place works in the cafe! That's just ridiculous! Seriously, this would be a great gym if the employees were just a bit more friendly. Is that too much to ask? However, this is a great gym for all it has to offer and if you're serious about working out, this is the place to have a membership to. I was looking for swim lessons for my kids and swim lessons at Lifetime are really great and affordable. Unfortunately my son burned out on swimming so I decided to cancel my membership. At the time, no one told me to cancel my swimming as well and now I'm being charged for a month of lessons we never attended. I've called more that 10 times to try to resolve the issue and could never reach a manager. One person even gave me a number to call back and when I called it was disconnected. It's a nice gym but management is very disorganized. Be careful because charges are not explained. It's sad that they wouldn't just offer a refund on services we never used. read more
