All service workers are amazing. Ambience was calming n brosted chicken was delicious.

$$$$$$ DINNER PRICES WAY TOO HIGH!!!!! What are they thinking?! This is Peshtigo Wisconsin. The skimpy salad bar with two choices for hot soup was the skimpiest and the worst I've seen in northern Wisconsin. My side was mashed Redskin potatoes... Surprise... they were sticky like paste and almost room temperature!! my wife and I both had the 5 ounce tenderloin and lemon dill salmon. We both thought the salmon was excellent. We both thought our steaks were fabulous.... probably won't return. Place was a little drab and dreary. They appeared to do no updating from the time that it was Schussler's supper club read more

I don't recommend this business. They're overpriced. If you go, watch your receipt closely because they overcharge, charge a convenience fee (credit card fee) even if you pay with cash. If you go to an event there, be sure to get a receipt if you pay cash. We held our names for an event with a credit card, then paid cash at the door. We were not offered a receipt for cash but then both the credit card and cash were charged (double). Watch your money closely there. read more

Sherry catered a luncheon for a funeral that I attended. Her menu requests were more complicated than your normal simple sandwiches. It was absolutely the best! She came in and set it up and all was ready for the crowd after the service. Did I mention it's all from scratch!? When we went to plan the luncheon she was helpful, honest, and willing to please. Told us her meatballs are the best. Well I'm not really a meatball lover as you can generally bounce them off the walls when in quantity. BUT she was RIGHT!, They are moist and DELICIOUS! A+ Sherry read more

Recent Transplant to the Marinette/Menominee area. Ember's is a breathto years of horrible dining experiences in the middle Tennessee area. The food is excellent and the service is fantastic! After going to Ember's a couple times, the staff knows my name, knows the peculiarities of my orders and bends over backwards to make me and my wife feel welcome. The staff and management are incredibly down to earth and approachable and do all they can to make things right to keep you coming back... and we always come back. Set your expectations for Wisconsin Nice, a friendly and very adept wait staff, good proportions, a superb soup and salad bar and flavorful entrees. Embers 1871 is a cannot miss dining destination!!! read more

We are not from here and pleasantly stumbled upon this place. Everything was fabulous. The beat meal I can remember having in a Ling time. Quality and fabulous! read more

Horrible wait for a simple drink during a time when the bar was not full. Also trying to use big city technology to "accurately" pour the "correct amount" of liquor for your drinks when no other establishment in the area does this. If you want people to come back treat them like family and not a number. The ribeye steak on two orders came burnt on the outside and ranged from medium to medium well in the center. The chicken in their chicken fetuccini leave you wondering if their cooks know anything about cooking. Again if you order any drink you are left waiting a ridiculous amount of time for the amount of patrons at the establishment. read more

Nice experience, so I'm going to start with where there is room for improvement, which held me back from a full 5-star rating. The loaf of bread was undercooked as you can see in the picture and they need to increase their balsamic to olive oil ratio (and provide a proper bread knife)... those are the only negatives. The positives are that this is the only restaurant in a 50 mile radius that I have seen so a proper rare cook on meat. The ribeye and prime rib were nothing short of incredible and the liver spread on the salad bar was perhaps the best I've ever eaten at a supper club. I see a lot of complaints about price and I just want to emphasize that for the quality of food, I think the price is more than fair. Pleasant quiet atmosphere, nice wait-staff and bartenders, overall good experience. read more

Went to brunch with my son and his two daughters. The meals cost $25 each because it was a brunch. You could not order off the menu at all. I ate my one plate and believe me, it was not more than I eat normally. I go one scoop of potatoes, one large scoop of tenderloin tips, one bite of stuffing (can't eat many bread products so I held back), they had french toast with strawberries and some kind of cream and these were cut into quarters, I had one. The tips and french toast was very good, but certainly not worth $25. They had tons of food but just because they offer so much, doesn't mean everyone is a glutton and will over eat that much to warrant that price. Then to top it all off, they force you to pay an 18% gratuity fee. When did tipping become manditory. The girl was serving at least 5 tables and all they had to do was remove plates and she made $18 off one table of 4. That is insane, even I don't make $18 an hour and I have a college degree. not many common workers make $18 an hour and she made at least $90 an hour. read more

We went on a Friday night, the restaurant was busy. Service was great, waitress checked back several times. 2 of us had the pork tenderloin,2 had steaks. The food was delicious, steak and pork was very tender and cooked to perfection. We had ice cream drinks for dessert, they were thick with ice cream, just the way we like them. The soup and salad bar was outstanding. We had the chicken noodle soup, very good. Salad bar was fresh and had pate and cheese spread. We will be going back. read more

Are you kidding? The menu offers everything from bar food to gourmet cuisine. Wings, pizza is to die for! I've tried buffalo and dry rub - yum yum! Stop in you won't regret it! read more

Nice casual dining experience with excellent wait staff. They serve really delicious bread with oil for dipping, which is definitely beyond what most local restaurants serve. The tenderloin steak sandwich was absolutely perfect, every bite melted into my mouth, topped with beautiful sautéed mushrooms and onions, it was a real home run of a sandwich. read more

Still the best! Been traveling and can't wait to get back and enjoy the food and family atmosphere. When you dine here you are part of the full family and know what great food and service you will get every visit. Is 5 times in one month too much? No, it's not enough! Back in town and sad they are closed tonight. We want great food and service. Guess we wait until tomorrow. Open, open, open! The next best thing to eating here must be working here. The owner and staff make us feel like family and ruin our diets every time we go. Best salad bar and fish around. The meatloaf is amazing too!! read more

My husband and I came to Embers with an ooen mind due to some of the comments not positive. I ordered a Jack and coke and I was not disappointed. It was mixed well. The salad bar was fresh and my husband had the chicken noodle and it was good. We then order the fireball meatballs. They were good with the maple glazed sauce, but I felt they needed ti be a little firmer. I order the salmon with sweet potatoe fries. I would have prefered a sweet potatoe, but that was not in the menu. The salmon was good but I was not a fan of the mango salsa. My husband had ribeye and baby reds. He said it was amazing. Total bill with 2 drinks, appetizer and meals was $72.00. We were offered dessert, but was too full to try. The serves was good. I did ask one of the waitress about the show they were having that evening and expressed that we would like to purchase tickets. No one came over and I felt that they should have sent someone over. read more

Food is excellent, but, bar service was sub-par

All Walmart food. Very poor quality and very over priced. Drinks are ok when the bartenders feel like making you one. I recommend ordering two drinks right away cause that's probably all you'll get. I don't plan on ever going back or recommending this place to anyone. I miss schussler's read more

We didnt really care for this place. Steaks are way overpriced for what you get. My wife said the drinks were ok. She didnt mind the metered pours. We did try this place a couple of times to see if it was a fluke. Will not be going back. read more

The soup and salad bar were the best part. The chicken was dry and I got quite a bit less than I expected. The home made bread was very good but it would be nice to have a bread board to cut it on instead of trying to hack it up in the basket it comes in. The service was on the slow side. In truth I've had better meals at smaller, less pricey small town places. I wont likely be returning any time soon. read more
