6:15 arrival on a Wednesday without a reservation. Sat fairly promptly. Ordered apps and drinks. Calamari was over done. Very chewy. Drinks arrived after the calamari. Nothing fancy just a neat bourbon. Had one of the month of June specials. Grouper. Overdone as well. Wife had a bone in ribeye. Cooked properly and tender. Not much flavor. Place definitely shows it's age, but food was good... especially the Au Gratin Hash Browns. Would definitely go back for another serving of the browns! The outside of this place could really use some TLC. Huge weeds and unkempt flower beds around the entrance almost made me turn around and go somewhere else. For someone who has never been here, I will say it gave a poor first impression. Inside showed an aging old time Wisconsin Supper Club. Large bar with a nice view of an inlet from the Menominee River. (I did get a kick out of the Pay Phone and Ash Tray by the front door!) My waitress was excellent and extremely friendly and helpful. Called me "Honey" a bunch of times! Food was also good, so I was glad I stayed! My Smothered Pork was tasty and tender enough that I didn't even need a knife. My French Onion Soup was decent, not a lot of cheese and had a heavy broth flavor. Once again the star of the meal was the Au Gratin Hash Browns. Very good! No doubt this is a local hangout. Which is not a bad thing. Bartender seemed to know everyone that walked in the door. I found this place because they advertised in the "places to eat" book in my hotel room. Average Wisconsin Supper Club. Might come back next time I am in town to try something else and get some more of those hash browns. read more

Real old school supper club right here. It was right next door to our Air BnB so it was perfect to walk over and sit in the bar a few minutes before seating and whoop it up with Fran the semi-grumpy bar tender who can make a mean old fashioned! This is as Wisconsin as it gets and I highly recommend going here to take a step back in time to 70's supper club nostalgia. Not only is the atmosphere authentic but the food is on point. We had coconut shrimp that came out as decadent as you'd expect. Steak was cooked perfectly and service was spot on. Not sure what more we could ask for from a super club. I'd come back here if in the area in a heartbeat. Prices were also a true value in this day and age! read more

The best part of the meal was the bartender tonight, she was fabulous! Two thumbs up. The food was not so great and service. Coconut shrimp was over cooked and dry, baked French onion soup was burnt tasting, steak Otto was ordered medium came out blood rare, porterhouse was ordered medium rare also came out rare, fries tasted liked they were cooked in old oil, we were not offered any dessert. When I complained to staff about steaks she told us who was cooking and that their regular cook quiet (TMI) steaks were still bad, then offered to take back and fix, we said no, Attitude of waitstaff changed. You would think that either the cook or person in charge would come out to talk with us, No that did not happen. Restaurant was clean and looked really good. We will not be back. read more

Very disappointed in the service, we sat at the table at 6pm, our order was taken at 6:15; our salads didn't come out until 6:47, then our food arrived at 6:50, still at this point, the waitress never asked if we needed drinks, food was just okay, no real flavor. They also need to clean up the curb appeal, they have such over grown weeds as you enter, it looks like an abandoned building beside the 2 planters of annual flowers near the door surrounded by weeds. read more

the service was excellent. the steak( strip) was the worst steak I have ever had, and I have had alot of steaks it was grisel and fat. the cook(he sure as hell wasnt a chef) did me a Favor by putting it on the grill for maybe a minute,only problem was I asked for medium.I sent it back, came back, still raw so the waitress answer for this was to not charge me for the dessert.wont go there again, won't recommend it to anyone, dont have anything good to say about the place read more

Very poor experience 4 cars sitting in the parking lot so we think great we can get right in, wrong. First off we were not greeted. Finally the bartender comes up to us and says "well". We say table for two the bartender who looks like he doesn't even want to be there says "reservation"?. I respond no we don't have one. He proceeds to tell us it'll be an hour wait. It's 7 o'clock the dinning room is nearly empty. That's okay their loss we'll just take our business elsewhere to an establishment that will actually greet and serve customers. read more

Excellent Supper Club. The drinks and the food the whole shebang. The restaurant itself and it's location is like straight out of central casting for a supper club. I didn't realize it was a martini focused supper club before we got there and they were some of the best martinis I've had in some time. That is before even realizing how reasonably priced they were. Food was standard supper club fare (steak & seafood) with several interesting alternatives. I went with the German Pork dish and it didn't disappoint. Desserts were also great and the decaf was tasty. If you're on the Circle Tour, headed to the UP, in Marinette County's Northwoods I would strongly suggest checking this place out. Very disappointing. I asked for a manhattan with no ice, the bartender shook his head like I was crazy and squirted water into the drink, when asked why, he said it was because I said no ice. The white chili was bland, nearly tasteless . An over cooked pork chop was tough, and the twice baked potato was burned and dry. read more

Food! I have never seen such missed ways to ruin a meal we were a four top, My Prime Rib tasted like a Cold Dry Reheated piece of meat! Not hot and juicy and tender at all! Plus the tiny stainless steel Maybe 2oz. Cup of beef broth was not enough to heat my cold dry Prime rib! The other person at our table had the Salmon she is more direct and told our server it was dry and did not taste good she told us she would bring a sauce to enhance the flavor! She forgot, Until our other guest got her after she was done clearing another table! By then it was a dry square cold piece of fish! When you spend A couple hundred on a meal at a Wisconsin Supper Club! They should take their Ambiance in consideration! When we walked in you would not think a place could look so terrible! Once you get past the abandoned cars in the lot and the shoddy front entrance it opens up to a beautifully nostalgic bar and dining room. If you are brave enough to thwart off the lack of a greeting and the bartender treating you like you are a nuisance; you will have a great experience once you are seated in the dining area with an outstanding view of the river. This used to be the place I went to for my birthday every year. Great ambience. Service rather slow but that was okay. But my entree was not good. I ordered steak otto, which was a filet topped with hollandaise, asparagus, mushrooms and shrimp. I asked for the steak to be pink inside. But it was so overcooked that it was tough to chew. When the waitress finally appeared and I showed her, she immediately said she'd have a new one prepared. When the new one came, it was exactly the same! I really couldn't eat it. They took $5 off. First thing I noticed when we arrived was the sign said fine dining. That sets the bar high for us. We were treated promptly and seated at a table by the window which made for some great views. We are trying to avoid flour and sugar which left us few choices of appetizers. We settled on the white chicken bean chili. It was good but could have been seasoned better. My wife had surf and turf and I had the fillet mignon We both opted for the asparagus instead of a potato and each had a salad also. The salad was rather simple with big pieces of cucumber. I dressing was good but it would have been nice to have a salad bar. There was no veggie tray option as an appetizer which one sort of expects from a supper club, especially a fine dinning one. The asparagus was over cooked and flavorless. The few carrot served with the broccoli were almost raw yet. The steak was seasoned okay and cooked to my liking. My wife's lobster tasted old and musty she said. Her steak was undercooked for her liking. For the area they might be very good. For my money though Go the Rivers Bend in Green Bay or Smokeys in Manitowish Waters if you really want fine dining and a great supper club. read more

Stopped here for dinner to meet a coworker. Food was good but the building is very old and has a smell in the vestibule. I am vegetarian and there was not really any options other than pasta and marinara sauce. They also had staffing issues, while I am understanding of that, someone (a manager I assume) was loudly discussing the poor quality of help they had. read more

This place is a Wisconsin Supper Club classic! The atmosphere is great, great drinks at the bar and a friendly staff. Like many places these days they are a bit short on staff, but they won't seat you until they're ready to give you their full attention. The steaks and the seafood are fantastic! On a recent visit to Marinette my wife and I had dinner there one night and decided to make a reservation for the following night while we were on our way out. Recommend making a reservation or sit at the bar and have some drinks. read more

Very nice until the bill showed up......"well you ate the potato and salad so you owe $6" (owner) Really? Not sure if that's the best way to treat a disappointing customer. Won't go back. Passing through on our way from Madison, the service was fantastic and very prompt. All the food was delicious with healthy servings and came out quickly. We had the crab cakes and walleye. Absolutely recommend this place if you have the time to stop while passing through or are a local! Lots of wildlife to enjoy watching while looking out over the river as well. read more

Great food and service. Two coworkers and I went and enjoyed the food very much. The lobster pot was full of creamy deliciousness and Nola Salmon was also raved about. It feels like a nice spot for special occasion dinners yet prices are still reasonable. Try to save room for dessert. We shared the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake which was amazing. Nice place to go for a good dinner! Tried it on a Saturday night. We didn't have reservations but that wasn't a problem. Sat at the bar and had a drink. The male bartender was a bit gruff and not too friendly, but the lady bartender was great! We just had beer but the martini menu looked delicious. For dinner we both had filet. Very tender. We ordered medium and mine was more like medium well, but still very good. Dinner came with warm rolls, potatoes, and baked French onion soup. I had the garlic mash, seemed like instant potatoes. I'd have the baked potatoe next time. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We had a great table by the window. We decided we had to try a Supper Club while we were here. We apparently picked the wrong one. The menu looked great - something for everyone. That's where it all ended. The calamari was clearly previously frozen. Not terrible, but not good either. My wife ordered a cowboy ribeye "medium" and I ordered the special perch dinner. The perch tasted like it came from Long John Silvers, but was at least cooked well. The steak came out barely rare. She sent it back and asked for medium...as she originally asked for. 10 minutes later we got the same steak back and it was not cooked any beyond rate still. We asked for the check to leave and they actually charged her for the potato since that was the only thing she could eat on the plate. Not only apparently incapable of cooking a steak, but the fact that they charged her for the potato (which came with the dinner) was the last straw. Poor cooking and poor class. Save your money and go anywhere else. read more

Service was very attentive by everyone, dinner was great for both of us - except for the twice baked potato which wasn't the best but not worth worrying over. The bar was very nice and we had a friendly bartender who made good old-fashioneds. It was winter so we didn't have a view but I'm sure it is quite nice looking over at the river. The bar area was cozy and pleasant. We had a group of eight and were seated near the kitchen in the dining room. The five at our table, including me. looked directly into the kitchen. I absolutely hate this but did not make a stink since was had a party of 8 and it was a birthday party for my father-in-law. We ordered our dinner and there was butter on the table. The rolls came 45 minutes later. I ordered duck al a orange. It was served cool and orange marmalade was dumped over it. No crispy skin! The one carrot was cold and a small piece of broccoli was cold. Three at our table ordered the prime rib. It was served cool. My 91 year old father-in-law enjoyed his t-bone which is good since he was the birthday boy. His wife ordered a well-done steak and she was happy. My husband had the breaded walleye and it was ok. We had to go to the bar ourselves to order a second cocktail and wine. We passed on dessert. I will not return. read more
