First timer at Murray's Irish Pub and my experience was awesome! The place itself is really nice. They have outdoor seating as well! The outdoor seating faces the lake. It was so nice to find a place where you could sit outside. The staff is super friendly and polite. They make sure all of our needs are met. The food is awesome as well. I got the chicken Cesar wrap. It was really good. The French fries were amazing as well. I highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area! read more

We have recently moved to the area and saw this online and went to check it out. Outstanding pub, very nice atmosphere, food has been excellent every time we go. Prices are good, bakery goods are out of this world. As a retired pastry chef, I fully appreciate good foods but baking and pastry are my favorite. Here's what's good about this place and why you should give it a try. They have a nice historic-looking building with a large bar and 2 big TV's to watch the game or whatever may be on. The front windows face the city park overlooking the marina and Lake Michigan... pretty nice view! The food was hit and miss. The Rueben and onion rings were a hit. Everything about them was good... portion size, temperature and taste. The French Onion Soup (though looked great) was a big let down. Mainly because the base was pretty tasteless. Even with the baked cheese and crouton top along with ample onions, the soup itself tasted very watery. Why the rating is so low is because however, is because of the lack of service from the bartender. I know things are kind of upside down right now in the service industry and they seemed a little short staffed, so I totally understand how long it took to get my food. But the lack of attention from the bartender was unexceptionable. She literally took orders, made drinks and then would go back to the corner of the bar and text on her phone. She also had her computer open! There were a total of 4 people at the bar, and there was a time that 3 of us had empty drinks while she typed away, unaware of any of her customers. There was another guy at the bar who tried to asker a question about the history of the building. Her response was "I don't know, ask the waitress"! I spent about an hour eating at the bar and maybe got 15 words from the bartender.... "Are you reddy to order", "can I get you anything else" and "are you ready for your check". Not one smile, thank you or any other confirmation of appreciation for my business. Poor restaurant owner, I know times are tough.... But this employee has made this place a flat out, no return for me. read more

Hour THIRTY to get food WITH A RESERVATION. Waitress apologized by explaining 'one server and one cook' on a busy Saturday night. Half our entrees were cold heat lamp refugees except for my baked potato that spent so much time in the micro that it could cut glass. Still charged for everything and she pre-loaded the 18 percent gratuity for bullshite slow service. If you cant staff correctly don't open. If you do open, make sure your clientele leaves happy. One of very, very few restaurants open in the area on a Sunday night, so we went here for dinner. The place is cute, but the whole experience was underwhelming. We sat in a cute little booth looking out at the water, which was nice, but the bottom of the window was caked with dead flies, which kind of ruined the ambiance lol. Service was very slow, although our waitress did apologize in advance and said that another employee had to leave unexpectedly because her dog ran away... I hope she found her dog! My burger was ok but nothing special, the cole slaw was pretty good but I've had better, and the fries were slightly undercooked. I asked about a couple of menu options when ordering only to find out that the menu isn't accurate and there are several things on it that they no longer have. My boyfriend ordered the whitefish, which was straight up bad. For $18, it should have been pretty darn good, but he couldn't choke down more than about a third of it. The asparagus it came was also just ok, and the baked potato was served as literally just a whole potato wrapped in foil, with a prepackaged cup of sour cream on the side (no butter). Mixed drinks were also ok but nothing special. Overall, even with the limited Sunday night options, we would go elsewhere. read more

We held my Mom's Celebration of Life at Murray's. The staff at Murray's did a fantastic job in making us feel welcome and making sure the celebration was all we had hoped. Great atmosphere with a great staff. Would highly recommend for a group gathering! read more

Our group of five went on a Saturday night. They delivered the first meal to the table 20 minutes before the other 4 were ready. The prime rib specials were dry and overcooked. At least it was expensive. That was our second time visiting and there wont be a third. read more

I was told by my supplier this was the 3rd best restaurant in the area. We were a group of 4 and most of us were not able to have our first choice because they were out of it. We all took filet mignon and they Were well cooked. But the sides were the most horrible I have ever seen. Mine were straight lit of a can. It was not even much cheaper than the other place. The only good point was the price of the sainte Michelle bottle that was nearly as cheap as a glass of wine in NYC. read more

This was my second visit to Murray's and the food was just as good as the first time. Burger was very good and the fries were excellent . My husband had the perch and he was also very happy with his meal. The restaurant is very clean and nice atmosphere. My only concern was as we are in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, they staff informed us as we entered that we must wear masks anytime we left our table (and we were fine with that), yet the employees were wearing their masks improperly and not covering their noses and at times not even their mouths using it as just a chin strap most of the time. They should have at least covered their mouth and nose completely when taking our order and bringing our food to our table. Once the COVID-19 is over I would definitely go back. That is the reason for the 3 star rating. read more

I was lucky to spend a couple of night in this town. I like this place so much, i ate there twice. Clean establishment, pub atmosphere, great selection of tap beers, nice menu selections. First off, they had my favorite beer on tap, Bass ale, which is hard to find where I come from, bonus. Their wings, I found to be great, good price too. I'd give this a zero if allowed. Walked into the place tonight. Cute place, with a beautiful view of the bay. That's where it ends. We were told to seat ourselves and about 2 minutes later menus were dumped on our table. Fifteen minutes later we still have no one at our table for water or drink order. Not a big deal in this new era of everyone short staffed. HOWEVER - 4 girls with uniforms were standing around eating French fries from their friends table. Highly doubt they would let 70% of their waitstaff on break at the same time at 6pm on a Saturday. Would definitely not return. read more

I tried to place an order for carry out and they use some crazy call screening service. I followed the prompts and it tells you to leave a message and someone will call back. After some other ridiculous steps, it lands you absolutely nowhere wasting your time and not getting through to a person. The food is good but they really need to fix the process because it is literally impossible to order and I'm not going to go sit there and stew in covid while I wait for my food. 0 out of 10 for restaurant 101 failure. read more

Stopped in here on a Friday night while in town for the day. We had the Friday special of beer battered haddock with fries, bbq beans & cole slaw. I had the small which was 3 large planks and the large was 5 planks of fish. The food was outstanding! So good that I wanted to tip the cooks but my husband said I was weird. The fish was so crispy, the fries were so yummy, the beans were savory and the cole slaw was delicious. Service was great, bathrooms were clean. If I had to criticize anything I would say the tartar sauce could be improved, tasted like mostly mayo. Stopped in on a Wednesday at noon for a beer and appetizer. My wife and I just happened across Murray's while driving around on our anniversary. There was a decent mixed of business people having lunch and friends just socializing. We sat at the bar and and ordered a couple drinks. Not much to say about my Guinness but my wife was impressed with the Jamison Press the bartender poured for her. The bartender was very friendly and we had a great conversation with her. The bar is very open and clean, great view out the front of Green Bay. We ordered an appetizer, Tomato Bread, and a second round (heck it is our 31st anniversary after all). The appetizer took a little long to arrive but the bartender kept us updated on its progress and apologized for the delay. When it arrived it was very tasty. I would definitely go back especially if i had more time to stay. read more

I booked Murray's for my rehearsal dinner over a year before the date. My first meeting was a clear indication of how they operate and should have trusted my gut to run then. It was like pulling teeth for him to just run through the menu options with me. The brochure is overly complicated on how options are selected and you are VERY limited on how many choices you have. He also said that the options and prices would change and to check back later. I called about 8 months later, left multiple messages for management to call me back and could not get them to call me back. I live in IL so it is not easy for me to pop in and talk to them. I had to send my mom there for her to request that someone give me a call. Only then did they call me. I called them about 3 weeks before my rehearsal date to finalize the menu. I was told that I needed to get menu choices (only two meat options) from all my guests ahead of the night. Also, I was told I would need to pay an extra $1.50 per plate to have the meals plated. I asked, since they will have options ahead of time, if I could add one more meat option - was told flat out no. My confusion was how they couldn't plate the meals if I gave him all the options ahead of time, so why was I being charge more to have the meals plated!?! (I have only 30 guests as well). He said that the number of the different choices of meat would be brought out for people to take. This made no sense. He then told me I needed to give him our meat counts within 3 days - and I had called him - he never reached out to me for this information and now I was being rushed. So, needless to say, I cancelled and went to The Landing. They were over-the-top responsive and helpful, service and food was outstanding. We had a great night! read more

If I could give a negative rating I would. This establishment wins the award for the worst dining experience I have ever had. A group of friends and I decided to go here for a night of laughs and indulging. We walked into Murray's around 6:30pm and saw less than 10 people in the bar and no one in the dining room. We didn't want to bother the waitstaff by using the dining room so we took a table in the bar. The waitress came over to us after one of my friends had to flag them down. We all ordered a drink from the bar while we looked at the menu. We decided to share a few appetizers and order our meals (around 7pm). We all polished down 2 drinks before we even saw an appetizer that were all deep fried items that shouldn't have taken that long. The waitress was no where to be found so we were going up to the bar for our own drinks. Roughly around 8:30pm, we started to get pretty angry with the fact that we still didn't have our food! Luckily the alcohol was flowing so it didn't make us exactly angry since we were still having fun. Finally after complaining for our food, the waitress very rudely slammed down our plates and walked away without asking if we were still doing okay on our appetizers or drinks. I cut opened my steak to find that it was extremely rare. I am the type that will not say anything but it was so incredibly rare that I had no choice. The waitress blamed me that I didn't know what medium rare looked like instead of just taking it back immediately without hesitation. I demanded that she take it back to the kitchen and fix the problem. She brings it back less than 5 minutes later still so incredibly rare that I was furious. At this point it is almost 9pm and we were so frustrated with our service I wanted to just get out of this place. I told her she could keep the plate and take it off my bill. All in all, there were 6 of us willing to spend a lot of money here and we were treated so poorly that I will never go back to this place ever again. It should never take 2 hours to get deep fried appetizers and a steak a size of a half dollar when there is less than 10 people in the bar and no one ordering from the kitchen. The waitress was beyond rude and for that this place is a joke in my mind. read more

On the real...haters gonna hate. The owner has a real love for the area. That's all I can say. If the city leaders could find other people with money to invest on First Street then now you're talking. Always felt the city could do a better job of drawing boaters into the area. Put a hotel around the area, throw some parties in the park....fancy folks could have a Murray's to lose their boat keys at...maybe get creative by leasing out empty buildings in the summer for artist type shit and whoop their you have an influx of money into the community......................back to Murray's. Pub place with a great view. Food wasn't really anything to write home about. We monged a platter of their poutine as an appetizer, which was good. Most of our meals though were disappointing. Their "specialty" chicken dish was pretty gnarly.. Just a flavorless breast covered in shredded cheddar. Perhaps the grease from the cheese was supposed to enhance the taste, but alas it did not. Furthermore the pub burger was lame, just a patty on a bun. Overall I'd suggest this as a good place to grab a beer but I would definitely choose somewhere else to eat. read more

Shepherd's pie. One of the most miraculous inventions out there. When I saw it on the menu, I knew I wanted it. I would have been just dandy with the pie itself. This one had cole slaw with it and veggies too! I really wish I could have eaten more because it was quite good. Added salt and pepper to the veggies for my own personal taste choice, but it was definitely a great choice. Had some fried cheese curds here too which were good. Its overall a very nice looking place. The layout is really good. I was a little disappointed when Carlsberg was out of stock since there was this luring neon sign for it, but c'est la vie.
