We were in town for a wedding, so the day before, we took ourselves on a little brewery tour of Green Bay...and this was one of our favorites! We parked at a nearby lot and walked over to this spot, but there is an adjacent lot! We sat outside next to one of the firepits, but the interior had plenty of character, with exposed brick and unique rooms for various size parties! Our servers were tremendous, as we had a few questions before landing on our choices for the night! We both had the Coffee Ale, which was on nitro! It was perfectly light, smooth, and just enough coffee for those fans of the flavor! I'd definitely come back for this one! We also started with the cheese curds, which were perfectly snackable and their Bloody Mary aioli was such an unique take on the classic! The REAL star of the show, though, was the burger!! I had the Dousman Street burger, which included a charred (in a good way) burger, aioli, lettuce, tomato, cheese. Now, I've never said this before about a burger, but my favorite part was the BUN! They get their buns from a local bakery and I was speechless eating that perfect thing! Soft, chewy, perfectly baked...it soaked up the juices from the burger without falling apart. For something that is usually a mediocre background dancer at best, this bun is a reason to RUN back to Copper State! Can't recommend enough!

During our Green Bay trip this was one of my favorite brewery's to try. I love the large variety of beers and the food was top notch. Definitely a must stop if your visiting the Green Bay Area.

We tried this place for lunch recently and had a great meal. I have had beer from Copper State Brewing before, but have never been to the brewery/restaurant. Our waiter was awesome. She gave great recommendations. The cheese curds and pub pretzel were great appetizers. The Bloody Mary aioli for the cheese curds was unique, but great flavor. The burgers, mac and cheese and turkey melt were all great entrees. The We Drink At Dawn! (beermosa radler), Platinum Blonde Coffee Cream Ale, and Stilt Stepper (NE IPA) were all tasty. We will definitely be back to try more menu options.

We sat at the bar on a Friday night. The bartender was very busy and seemed stressed. We had to wait a long time to order and I requested water multiple times before being served it. We ordered some flight sized beers to try. Most of their beers are sours. We started with the cheese curds. They weren't squeaky and just tasted like fried cheese sticks. The grilled chicken peach salad was made with quality ingredients. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, it was an ok experience. They have a parking lot.

My co-workers selected burgers or chicken sandwiches - good choices for a brewery. One burger was named the truffle shuffle and that made us laugh. I took a chance and opted for the bumper crop salad. Seriously check out the photo. It was so colorful and all of the unique ingredients were like a party in my mouth. And it was definitely enough for 2 meals. Wish I could comment on the brews but we were still on the clock.

I visited Green Bay for the day and stopped to have lunch and beers at Copper State. The bar is super cool and warm and welcoming. The bartender is fantastic! He's local and kind and was AMAZING! I wish I could remember his name but he made the experience. He was patient and knowledgeable about the beers and other alcohol they had to offer. He stocks their liquor portion too so he's super helpful if you're maybe not feeling beer. Recommended items off the menu and all of them were great. The brussel sprouts were to die for! So crispy and flavorful. I'd go back just for these. The Philly cheesesteak was also very very good! The cheese curds have a slightly different breading than what I'm used to, but they were really good with a Bloody Mary dip that will surprise you (in a good way lol). The beers were crisp and fresh. There's also a large variety for everyone's tastebuds. And if you don't like beer they have an entire liquor selection as well as wine.

Picture of the Brewben sandwich. Note... the lack of meat! That's all there was on a $16 sandwich.

Great place for beer, but super disappointed in the food. Visited on Saturday, August 2 for lunch and ordered two beers, the peach salad and the "Brewben" sandwich. The nitro beers were delicious and the salad super good. The sandwich, however, was so disappointing. See the picture below. There was very little meat on this sandwich and the side of macaroni was a complete joke. It was supposed to be beer mac & cheese, and we're convinced it was Kraft box Mac & cheese. It was also cold and congealed. Copper State should be embarrassed by this meal.

I went straight to the bar as I was just in for some beer. I was beyond pleasantly surprised to discover two things. One is that the woman behind the "bat," Alicia, is freaking amazing. As other employees came by to pick up drinks, I noticed they seemed pretty cool too, however, Alicia is the BEST! She was so attentive and friendly. Made me feel at home immediately. Continued giving amazing service and kindness. I decided to stay instead of moving on to my planned next destination of Irish Temper and possibly Titletown. I was happy where I was at and with so many choices to drink. This brings up the other pleasant surprise. The offerings of drinks besides beer was very surprising, in the best way. Most breweries I have been to don't have "bar" offerings. To top it off, they had a bourbon that is hard to find and it was a fair price (pappy- rip van Winkle 10 yr). Great experience. I blame Alicia.

There are few things better than date night with your besties... We enjoyed delicious beer on the outdoor patio on a beautiful night in August. We shared so much yummy food, like cheese curds, loaded beer fries, bruschetta and the pub pretzel. Everything was delicious and our beers continued to be refilled as we laughed and chatted the night away. Our pizza was delicious and look forward to another trip!

Food was fantastic, that was the best part that is why it's 4 stars. Service was brutal. They clearly didn't want a party of 6 there despite us waiting a while and buying beers. Rushed out, despite wanting to get to go food.

We've found ourselves in this particular moment, him 5 years sober, me 26 and often confusing experiences of pain and pleasures on the thin ice of addiction. Today we are in wisconsin, visiting family, having coffee to stay at a cafe my grandma recommended we go to. She has my tiny brother, so it's just my dad and I, how things were for 16 years. We work as a team to find free parking. We love doing team things to save a dollar, a minute, or find a loophole. We decide on our coffees, and when the barista asks if we'll have them to stay my dad says yes, which brings a smile to my mind. He suggests we share this berry oat bar thing. One thing I find so charming about his sobriety is his need for sweets. It's somewhere in trainspotting 2 that mark tells spud "you'll always be an addict. You just have to find something else to get addicted to." I think of this when i see him with a big fat bowl of ice cream after dinner and a new exciting hobby every other month. I think of this when I consider what my life might be like if I decide to admit some things to myself sooner than later. But right now it's me and my father, having coffee to stay in cute mugs, no rushing, no changing things, just farting around in a midwest summer.

Picked up a chocolate croissant and an almond croissant from Voyageurs at the farmers' market by St. Brendan's Inn, where I am staying. Both were delicious, and the almond croissant was huge! I've been snacking on that throughout the day. I mentioned to them that Yelp has them listed as being open until 2 AM on Friday night. They clarified that they close at 2 PM on Friday's, like the rest of the week. Nice folks, very kind and helpful. Their breads looked delectable as well.

First, the sour dough bread is absolutely amazing! Some of the best I've ever had…read more We will definitely continue purchasing the bread. We won't go in for brunch again though. I ordered toast, crispy potatoes, a side of bacon. My daughter ordered eggs Benedict . My order came and the waitress had forgot to put in the potatoes . This was after confirming the order twice. When the potatoes came it was a small portion swimming in some kind of spicy seasoned oil. For $8 I would have expected a bit more portion wise. The bacon was fine. Nothing remarkable, and $4 for two slices. The toast and jam was ok. The toast bordered on burnt and was served without butter. The jam was more like a strained strawberry puree. The toast was tasty, except for the slightly burnt top. The eggs Benedict was $22. For that price they should be stellar! The English muffin had burnt bits, the hollandaise was ok, nothing special , the ham was tasty , but the egg was poached way past the point you would want or expect with eggs Benedict . There was a side of thinly sliced zucchini and squash that was quite tasty . Again, terrific bread- but we will skip the dine in options.
