I went in on a slow Wednesday afternoon and was immediately greeted by Denise, the bar manager. They didn't have my regular choice of fruity beverage so Denise said, "I got ya" and made me a great mixed drink. On her recommendation, I had the grilled cheeseburger (comes on Texas toast) and the fresh-cut french fries. Wow, absolutely fantastic. Exactly the comfort food I needed after a long day of travel. All the patrons who came in were over-the-top friendly and talkative. When leaving, I told Denise I'd be back someday... Turns out, someday was the next night! When I walked in, the joint was more crowded but as soon as I stepped through the door, Denise yelled, "Fruity drink!" and before I sat down, she was already making the same thing! Once again, I relied on her recommendation and went with the house-made pizza. Great choice! I'm a pizza fanatic and this was better than most pizza restaurants I go to. And again, everyone in the place was chatty and friendly. If you're ever in Marinette WI and need a homey, friendly place for a drink and great food, stop into Alibi, you won't regret it. And don't forget to ask for Denise!

Nice size bar for sitting and eating. Parking is pretty simple too. Four stars for a great greasy spoon bar. Not sure why all the negative reviews since it's a bar and grill. Service was fine, maybe slow but sip and go is the attitude. I think breakfast ends at 11 am so fair warning.

Decided to take my wife for her Birthday dinner, we ordered ribs and chicken dinners. Food tasted as usual very good. On the way home i get a small pain in my stomach, nothing big but it just keeps amping up in pain. My wife says she feels fine only to change her tune around bedtime, where she is doubled over in pain and gets sick. Im guessing it was the chicken that got us sick. We really like this place but we have to pass on going there again.

The chicken tenders were great, thought maybe a bit more seasoning would be even better. My son loved his burger and be warned, the peanut butter burger comes in Texas toast which was unexpected. The steak fries aren't seasoned at all, but they were hot and crispy. Everything we had was cooked perfectly but it seems they play it safe with flavor which i can understand given the location. Maybe a seasoned option could be possible. Overall we enjoyed our food and the service, ambience was solid, we couldn't understand why it wasn't more crowded. Definitely check it out!

A good Wisconsin bar and grill experience, like so many in this great state; we'll be back.
