Ordered a pizza, wingdings which I was informed was supposed to be whole wings which they were not, and a chicken wrap. Pizza and wings were good. Slightly disappointed with the chicken wrap. Maybe you have to eat it as soon as you get it because I waited the next day to eat it. Overall it wasn't a bad place. A bar type vibe. Nothing romantic about it, but if you want some quick food this might be the place to go. Happy eating!!!

Bear Paw has a lot to offer, including: kayaking, lodging, gear and incredible food. It's in a stunning location, very near the Wolf River. We had a " pub style, plank pizza". It was loaded with fresh vegetables and meat with a medium thickness crust. A crunchy, yet tender crust, at that. I can't wait to go back. Eric, one of the owners and operations manager, was cook, bartender, server and entertainer. He does it all with a smile and makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend you try this place. It's on a stretch of Hwy 55 that winds and dips and while it is fun to drive, is a puke factor "8" out of 10 when I'm driving with my cat. Yeah, I drive with my cat.

We decided to stop for dinner on our way up north tonight, and unfortunately, what should have been…read morea quick, enjoyable meal turned into one of the worst dining experiences we've had in a long time. First, we waited nearly 20 minutes after our server brought our drinks before she even came back to take our order. Then we waited over an hour for our food. When it finally arrived, two of our plates were nachos absolutely smothered in onions. The problem? Onions were not listed as an ingredient on the menu. Had they been listed, we would have ordered something else or asked for them to be left off. And as if the entire experience wasn't already disappointing enough, as we were leaving, the owner/manager actually told us to "have a mediocre night." Well... mission accomplished. After waiting nearly 20 minutes just to order, more than an hour for food, receiving food that wasn't prepared as described on the menu, and then being sent off with that kind of attitude, I can confidently say we won't be making that stop again. Sometimes it's not the food that ruins the experience--it's the complete lack of service and customer appreciation.

Best pizza we've had so far in NEW! Service was good,…read morefriendly atmosphere, lots of locals. Totally would recommend for their amazing pizza. Only drawback was we weren't aware that this is a cash only establishment. My hubby realized it when he observed everyone was using cash for their purchases. We did find a VERY small sign on one of the doors as we were leaving saying it was cash only, so lesson learned. Couldn't see an ATM in there either, so we were just lucky that we had cash. Not the most convenient way for many people to complete their transactions in this day and age when most people don't carry cash at all. Otherwise, great place & recommend!
