Lively little gem of a place. Stopped enroute from Minneapolis to Michigan for lunch on a weekend road trip. After looking up Gluten free meal options in the area, we found "Three Brothers" on Yelp. Called ahead to confirm that they had this option and they confirmed. When we arrived we were greeted with an enthusiastic "NORM!" The chairs are extremely uncomfortable. The floor is really un level. The restrooms are right off the small eating area and there is a steady bad smell. Waitress was very helpful and told of up charges and offered alternatives. Food was so so. Salty so if you have water retention issues, ask them to use less. Burger was extremely dry. My husband and I stopped in for an early dinner. We got a table in the deck overlooking the Oconto River. Beautiful view. The bar had a small but varied number of draft beers and a large range of bottles and cans. The staff was welcoming and efficient. I had the pizza (The Deluxe with addition of black olives) my hubby had the Thursday special-stuffed shells. Both were delicious. The pizza crust was crisp with toppings to the edge (just the way I like it). There is a thick crust available. The stuffed shells were excellent with extra sauce for dipping the bread sticks. They goofed up my order and replaced it promptly. I have been here countless times and always love it.

Tonight we ordered a pizza, hot wings, breadsticks and potato skins. The "potato skins" we ordered are a soggy flavorless mess that appears to be soggy wet potato chips....not potato skins, the "hot wings" are also soggy, look old & are undercooked.... they look like they were probably microwaved. The pizza at first looked good, but after trying to eat it we discovered the middle of the pizza is "doughy" and under cooked. The breadsticks are the only thing that seems "ok"............... This was our first time ordering from this place, and our first impression of it is not good at all. Completely disgusted.... And to think we spent nearly $40 on this order. read more

The Oconto restaurant was awesome. The bar was cozy and friendly. The dining area was great. Had several parties with clients there.

We ordered Breadsticks, Mozzarella sticks, 2 large pepperoni and sausage with thick crust and on top of that we got a free nugget!! when I ordered the food the lady of the phone was super nice! And the wait time wasn't to bad, and the was really good!! I really enjoyed the mozzarella sticks my self and the pizza was pretty dang good too! Thanks for a great dinner guys read more

The Brothers Three is casual but they seriously have one heck of a pizza. I am craving it just writing this review. We always make a special trip with the boat and tie up of the river. The pizza sauce, crust, toppings and cheeses are all great quality. We have had the cheesy garlic bread which is simple but just so darn yummy. food The staff is always so nice and always enjoy the bar area for a cocktail. First let me say that the server was a pleasant young lady and I don't hold her responsible for the terribly burnt pizza, overcooked chicken "flappers" (their name, not mine) and the salad bar that someone literally diced all the veggies into incredibly small pieces. They have a full menu, but the pizza is the star. They have some of the best pizza anywhere. I recommend the deluxe...minus mushroom because mushrooms on pizza is gross. ;) They have all the standards, but have specialty pizzas, too, like cheeseburger, reuben, etc. You really can't go wrong, dine in, carry out, or delivery. read more

Will never ever go again. Pizza was over cooked on the edges and raw in the center. Calzones were missing cheese and several were BURNT. At least 2 of the 6 Calzones we irder ed were burnt. The saving grace was the bartender knows how to make drinks. Staff is friendly and cheerful. Food so not worth it. read more

Went for a bike ride, and we were going to eat at Dockside. But it's closed on Mondays! They need to update their website. So used Yelp to find a open place to eat. What a great place to eat! Food was quite average. I had the Reuben with mediocre bread and a few slices of pastrami. The cheese curds were better than average and the burgers were tasty. Thirsty patrons beware! we ordered soft drinks for the table, which were served promptly, but then we ordered some water. The attentive server asked if we would like a pitcher, which we were appreciative of. However, when I looked over the bill, I noticed a 4.99 charge for the pitcher of water. Decided to update my review in hopes management will see this and make some changes. The pizza was good but service was horrendous. The atmosphere and was incredibly awkward. We came for dinner and was very slow inside. Nobody greeted us and wasn't sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves stood there for awhile with my husband and 3 kids while the lady at the counter was looking at us but not talking. After awhile I asked do we seat ourselves she responded with yes but more of I should know that. After 5 minutes I decided I needed to look and find us a menu since nobody gave us one. Than we ordered garlic bread as an appetizer and 2 large pizzas. We waited 20 minutes for 4 pieces of garlic bread again the atmosphere was awkward not inviting at all we actually felt awkward being there. The pizza was great so was the garlic bread. Went there on a Monday for dinner. Bartender was drunk and doing shots behind the bar. Had to get up from our table to order a drink and tell her we wanted to order. During the 1 hour wait for a steak sandwich, (which was the special) had to get up from my seat again for a drink. Stood by the bar for almost 10 mins again while bartender was still doing shots behind the bar. Then she comes over and asks me what I want while I'm standing there with an empty glass in my hand and money. Finally get our food which the kitchen brough to her that she left sit there until I asked her if should would bring it out to us. Sandwich was cold and soggy. After i had to ask for the bill so we could leave, she charged me for the drinks I paid for at the bar. I didn't even want to argue with her paid the bill and left. Will never go there again. We've eaten there for decades and like their pizza. They have a secret-ingredient homemade sausage that's really good so we usually get that on our pizzas. Occasionally we order their "Taco Pizza" which we also like a lot. It has fresh salad toppings over taco meat, and is served with sour cream and taco sauce. Occasionally they do burn the crust a little, or maybe don't scrape the oven enough so previous bits of burned crust are on the bottom...not sure which it is. Their crust is not homemade and seems to change from time to time, presumably as they get good buys from various vendors. Sometimes it's better than others, but it's never "bad." As others have said, the bread sticks are fantastic. They're deep-fried with a crunch on the outside and soft and bakery-like on the inside. The dock and outside seating seems to be well-used and appreciated. read more

Their pizza has certainly gone down hill over the past years. After trying it once again, I think we've ordered our last. We had a deluxe and I could count the sausages. There were about 10. The toppings are so skimpy, I can't see how they could possibly charge $20 for it. They must make a fortune! The top is supposed to be browned but it's just soggy, melted cheese. The pizzas at Papa Murphy's are huge (the family size) and loaded with toppings. Have you ever seen how much meat they put on? They must still be making a profit even though they only charge $14 because they are growing. Even another local establishment, Luigi's, puts them to shame. I don't think they are good enough anymore to carry the name "Brother's Three" and should either consider changing their name to Wimpy's or Skimpy's OR give customers what they deserve! read more

Prior to today I would have given 5 starts, which is why I was willing to drive from Green Bay to Oconto for dinner tonight. However, my experience tonight will cause me to never return again. My kids got kids meals, my wife got a fish sandwich and I got pizza. My pizza order was wrong. The server checked the slip and it was written down right but made wrong. I DO NOT blame the server or the kitchen staff because we are all human and make mistakes. I was not angry about the mistake and just told the server that I didn't want another pizza because my family would be done eating before I got it. My kids would never have sat peacefully waiting for me to eat. The server told me she would take the pizza off the check. So, for their kitchen screwing up my order, which I did not eat, the manager instructed the server to only charged me $10 for the pizza instead of $12. Yep, for a pizza that I gave back to them with only 1 bit out of it and they took back without an argument, and the server said would come off completely, the manager felt I should pay $10. It wasn't until I raised my voice and made a scene that he finally took off the full price. By the way, no one ever told me they were only taking $2 off. I had to discover that myself when I got a $35 bill for 2 kids meals and a fish sandwich. This kind of lack of integrity is inexcusable. read more
