The restaurant is still small and at 10 am- full! We had a larger party of 6 and luckily the waitress asked a couple (no food yet) to please move from the 6-seater they were at to a 4-seater, as we were ready to say "uncle" and leave without ordering. Back in the day, Rosy would have never let 2 people sit at a table for 6. As for the food- the giant pancake was a standout. Huge and thick and yummy! Loaded with butter and syrup the entire table ate pieces of it. I had a cheeseburger and fries, it was good- not special but ok. I think the hash remains a favorite of my fellow diners. You can now get hash everyday (back in Rosy's time- it was a twice a week treat). Service is overall a bit slow- but cooking space is limited and they were busy- so it was expected. It's still a cash only business. So bring your dollars, patience, and an appetite!

Bread on the Turkey sandwich toasted perfectly and dressed with a cherry jam for butter. Really enjoyed our meal. Asked for Hibiscus tea for the road and off we went. The place needs a deep cleaning, servers could have been more attentive and the menu has room for expansion. A friend and I ate there on a day where other local establishments were closed. The full parking lot may have been because of those businesses not being open. My friend had a soda that was flat and tasted off. He was never offered a refill. He had a chicken breast sandwich which he described as average.i had the Cubano breakfast sandwich. It was underwhelming. Here are a couple of oddities; no fries or tots. Hash browns, American fries or red baked potatoes. No deep fryer? No air fryer? For as greasy as the place felt, bringing in a deep fryer would be a good investment. Also, buns on sandwiches not toasted. A small touch like that would have helped the taste quite a bit. Overall, knowing there are better options in the area (when they are open), I'd suggest looking for one.
