The space is elegant, unique, and lives up to the photos. I also want to recognize the manager, who was polite, professional, and kindly explained that reservations were required. I completely understand and respect that policy. Unfortunately, my interaction with the bartender before speaking with the manager was the complete opposite. As I tried to get her attention, I felt like she repeatedly looked at me with annoyance and made me feel unwelcome. Rather than simply explaining the reservation policy herself, she went to get the manager instead. She had a problem with Hispanics. She refused to engaged at all. The way I was treated left me feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed, especially as someone who was genuinely excited to visit. A beautiful venue can only go so far when the hospitality doesn't match. I would have happily accepted that reservations were required if I had simply been treated with basic kindness and respect from the start. I truly hope this was an isolated incident because the location itself is stunning, and the manager handled the situation professionally. Being a SUPER optimistic about everything in life, I rushed to make a 5:30 p.m. reservation at 7:00 p.m. I know, it was pushing it but for $150 a person I did not want this opportunity to go to waste. We arrived at The Space Needle and were whisked up to The Loupe Lounge. The host was not sure if they could still serve us so she rushed to get the manager. She must have gone back to NYC Fashion Week because here comes the manager looking like a whole GQ model, super trendy manager in the house! Well, he accommodated us, very cool of him. You're an Angel cause we were starving! The food was packaged to go, it was so delicious I'm super bummed that we didn't get to experience this in person. It was pretty in a box can't imagine what it would have been like in person! Beggars can't be choosers! The meal was fantastic! Caviar was packaged with ice! How accommodating and it passed TSA. Drinks were amazing and Andrea was the BEST waitress! Lucky we had her! Overall, if I'm back in Seattle this is back on my to-do list! Very cool experience and worth every penny!
