I had a fantastic experience at Embassy nails. My nail tech was Lisa, who listened to my concerns about my nails. I had a previous manicure done at a salon in Raleigh, leaving my nails, thick and bumpy. She gently soaked off the gel manicure and tips and give me an absolutely wonderful gel manicure. I will absolutely be back and so grateful for her treating my nails with care and expertise.

Cindy Lou was wonderful. She was patient with me when I was picking colors and helped me understand the difference between gel and dip. She did a great job with my French manicure. I went with the dip and I love it. I will definitely be coming back!

Matches my warm weather attire and swim wear. Vacation in the south!

Needed a nail fill while I was on vacation. Stopped in here because it was near where we were dining. The decor is nicely done. It was a little more expensive than the place where I go in NY($20 compared to $15) for a standard fill. Wish I checked in prior to getting the service since they actually offer a Yelp discount on salon services. Will need to try to remember that the next time I am down visiting my daughter. Selected a blue polish that matches my swimwear and many of my summer outfits. Seemed to take a longer time to dry. That may be weather related. No one came to check on me and I finally just turned off the fans and left. Was in and out fairly quickly.

Very very basic pedi
Mendy M.

Pedi in a pinch sure, otherwise, it's a no. I needed a pedicure and hadn't had one in almost 45 days. I happened to be going to a business next door and stopped in. Price sheet is taped to the front desk, I was looking it over to get an idea of the cost and I was greeted and asked what service. I proceeded to ask the guy the prices, he told me...I felt a basic pedi at 36 is on the steep side! (I'm from CA and can find places waayyyy less expensive than that, too bad I won't be back in Cali for a while lol). $20 to add gel...I almost choked lol. Just because I have the money doesn't mean I want to spend it! NEVER heard of a 20 up charge for gel ...not even in Chapel Hill! ...Yes, I've been to many places and this places prices are byfar more expensive than a lot I've come across considering the look and feel of the place. It was clean and they use a new baggie for each client but there were flies (or a fly) flying around the place annoying me. I wasn't offered a beverage nor was I asked if the water was OK. All in all my pedi is still holding up (I got basic polish and will go elsewhere for gel!) I wouldn't visit again, but if you're in a pinch and just want a basic pedi and in the area it's fine for a one time experience.

French pedi

**Beware** I came to the salon yesterday for a French pedicure with gel polish. My total came out to $72 excluding the tip. I got home and realized I was unhappy with the work that was done on my feet so I immediately called and spoke to the owner whom I gave my name to for reference and told him I will be back tomorrow and he replied " I can come tonight or tomorrow either or is fine ". So I came the very next day after work and before I even left work I called him again to set up an appointment as a reminder and for my nails because I also wanted to get my nails done since that was actually the original plan yesterday but I had ran out of time. First of all the French polish they did on me again was terrible I water 1 hour of my life on that. I actually think it was worse than the first. They were not understanding any of my request during the process and didn't comprehend simple things that I was saying. After my terrible pedicure experience yet again I go over and get my nails done which I request in ombré. Yet, something they but yet again poorly! All of my nails are uneven and you will see a photo attached to this review. I have never been so disappointed in a salon before in my life and I'm even more disappointed because this is not my first time coming here. After I receive the very terrible job I go to the checkout and my total is $101 so I am questioning why that is and they explained that I am paying for a pedicure that I already received yesterday. So I again asked to speak with a manager because we had worked this out and they said he was not there but they will call instead so after my nail tech spoke with a manager on the phone I guess he forgot to tell them that I had called him twice already to confirm that I was coming in to get my feet redone and to get my nails done so they finally fix the charge and I only end up paying $65 for my nails which I'm actually really unhappy with and will probably be paying another $65 to go somewhere else to get a better job done this week. This is the second time in a row. So unhappy.

Pedicure day!

The salon is SUPER clean, staff was nice. Vey quiet atmosphere. I got the Green Tea spa treatment, it was relaxing. The service came with a free beer! Lol! Jenny did an AMAZING job! My feet are as soft as a baby's bottom! I will be back!

I have gone to this shop off and on for years since I have lived in the area but I will not be returning after my last encounter. Yesterday 6/10/2024 around 430-5pm I entered the shop in Garner and asked for a pedicure. When I arrived there was only one other customer in the shop and 6 nail techs. When I got to the pedicure bowl I told the male tech, who I believe was unsure about the pedicure type I chose, that I also wanted dip, he said okay and proceeded to do my pedicure. While sitting there 4-5 other customers arrived and out of those 4-5 at least 3 requested pedicures and dip. When it was time to receive dip the tech told the women and they refused to do it and told him to tell me to come back the following day but completed the pedicures and dip for the 3 customers who entered the shop after me. The women are rude and the vibe I got was that they just did not want to provide the service for me particularly. The gentleman who had just completed my pedicure then told me that he does not know how to do dip and that gel was better. He also told me that it would not chip even after I explained that it does if you wash your hands or use sanitizer frequently. I ended up just getting a regular manicure, which will not last with polish but by this time it was too late to do or go anywhere else and I was going out of town the next day. I was not going to pay 20.00 extra for gel when I knew it would chip/peel in 1-3 days. The experience made me feel super uncomfortable as a customer and I will never return.

Less than a week after gel nails. Dents and nicks in polish

A friend recommended this place. I was hesitant to try since their reviews are horrible but I was pleasantly surprised when my first set of gel nails lasted and looked lovely. Then I noticed my second set started denting and looking rough within a couple days. I sent a picture and asked about having them fixed when I got back in town a few days later. I set an appointment and was blown away when I was told it would be full price to replace the obviously defective polish. When I explained that it was clearly a polish problem since I had not had a similar result the first time, I was told they would give me five dollars off, are you kidding? When I pay over $50 for gel manicure I expected to last more than a few days and when it doesn't then good customer service would dictate that you would fix the problem. They've now lost a customer and received a negative review. Not good business people.

Absolutely love this place seriously. I'm a Jersey girl born and raised. As you may know we love nails! Let me tell you about Jon he's thee best and most genuine nail tech I know. He is very neat, organized, and pays close attention to detail.

Dip powdered perfection done by Bear. Love themmmmm!

I just went there last night and had a great time. I had Bear, he had me laughing the whole time. Gave me positive affirmations and took special care of my nails :) like, he really took his time. I appreciate everyone there. They work so hard. I will be back, and requesting bear

Nails are cut so short after she tried to "fix them" they hurt. I have one big toe longer than the other & some square and some round.

This is THE WORST pedicure I've ever gotten in my entire life. They rush you as if they were doing the service for free you ask for one thing and get another. They completely messed up my toes I had like 3 different shapes and tried to let me leave with a streakiest mess. How do you mess up white nail polish? Never going again, to top it off service is so horrible & everyone was so rude after I corrected her on what she was doing, she proceeded to make faces and snicker. Save your money go anywhere else but here.

Went to go get my nails done on a Friday next day both my thumbs were cracked went to go get it fixed... 3 days later I have 4 nails cracked I paid 50 dollars!!!!!! Really disappointed!

I told the nail tech I wanted full set. She asked if I wanted powder or gel -- thought she was asking what kind of polish (dip powder or gel) so I said gel. She starts doing my nails and I'm noticing something isn't right. So I ask if she's doing acrylic. She said no, that I asked for gel. And I said yes, gel polish. She then acted like I was stupid and it was my fault when it was really her fault for not explaining. So then she starts giving me acrylic. I've been getting acrylic nails for many years now and she definitely did a rush job. She asked me if I had gotten a full set before toward the end and I said yes, so I think she was trying to see if she could get away with being rushed. She asked what shape I wanted and I told her rounded square but to make them look natural and then I showed her a picture of what I wanted so that it was extremely clear. She was shaping my nails and I asked if they could be shorter and she said that they would be too short. I said "but I really want them shorter than this" so she fixed it. But don't tell a customer no! Then she spoke to the person next to her in a different language and I just know she was complaining about me. It was obvious. She also never asked if my shape was okay. She just kept hurrying to try to finish my nails. At one point she told me to take my hands out of the light too early and messed up my thumb nail but then told me that I messed it up and that I need to hold my hands a certain way under the light (which I wasn't even touching the nasty table anyway under the light). I just said "ok". Didn't feel like arguing but didn't appreciate her telling me I messed up -- terrible customer service. My nails look so thick and chunky and just bad. Moving onto the polish change on my toes. I just said I wanted a polish change on my toes and they gave me gel -- which is more expensive. There was no clarification. Just assuming I wanted gel on my toes. Then I got my eyebrows waxed and the room was so nasty looking. The whole place just felt dirty. There were flies everywhere. Terrible experience. I tried calling the salon to see if I could come back and get my nails redone but they haven't answered. I read the reviews before I chose to go here and I ignored them thinking it couldn't possibly be that bad. But it is. Listen to the reviews. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

While waiting for my appointment, a massage therapist walked out into the lobby, with her mask down, eating a snack and playing on her phone. I know people are at work and need breaks; I just did not think this was professional in the front lobby of the spa. My appointment was at 5:15pm. No one said anything to me about my massage therapist running behind. When I asked if she was late or what was going on, the receptionist's response was "Well, I have only been here half a day, so I don't know." ...... (????) When she returned, she did not apologize or provide an update; she simply sat back down at the front desk. My therapist came out shortly after to greet me and walk me back. There was no apology from her for running late and she did not introduce herself at all. She simply asked if there was any area she needed to focus on and left the room for me to undress. However, all of this being said, the massage was great and definitely worth it. I did ask my therapist what her name was when leaving, and the receptionist was very sweet and helpful while checking out. I just wish there would have been better service from the front end, so I would have been less annoyed going into my massage.

They were really nice and had a lot of business at 10am! My nail tech was really nice, knew exactly what I wanted and went to work. My nails looked great. I was really happy. I got a gel manicure. Today, Friday (Oct 28) I noticed two of my nails had paint coming up on the sides. They began to peel. And the underneath is really sticky. Like it didn't dry correctly before she kept applying. So 37 dollars later (before tip) and as I type, 3 nails are peeled and sticky. I was satisfied with the look but I'm very disappointed with the results; 3 days later. Because it is gel, I know just typical hand washing wouldn't do this. And hand sanitizer shouldn't either! We've been in a pandemic since March 2020 and this has not yet happened to my nails.

All three of us had birthdays in August, so it was the perfect opportunity to have a treat as well. Manicures and pedicures are not typically my thing, so I didn't readily have someplace in mind. I did a Google and Yelp search to find a place that had good reviews. I came across Posh Nails off of US Highway 17 in Garner and decided to go there and see if they allow walk-ins. Luckily, when I arrived they had availability and did allow walk-ins so the three of us were seated right away for our pedicures. It's a nice set up at this facility. They also have free beverages available while you're being serviced. Christina was my nail technician. She did a great job with my pedicure and my manicure. My parents pedicure and manicure also went well. There were two things that I observed during my visit that threw me for a loop. (1) I was unaware of an additional service charge separate from the cost for the manicure and the pedicure. My first thought was that the beverages aren't really free, and there's a secret charge for the beverages but when I inquired about what it was for, I was told it's because I had two different services done. That struck me as very odd. Some nail salons actually give you a discount if you're having a combination manicure and pedicure service. This was the very first time that I heard of a service charge because I had two services done instead of one. I was eager to see the bill so that I could see exactly how it was listed, but conveniently enough, I did not receive an itemized bill just a credit card receipt. (2) My technician set up a small fan so that I could have my nails dried before I left the facility; however, my mother's technician tried to have my mom leave right after he finished painting her nails without drying them first. It took my father's technician to point out to my mother's technician that he needed to dry my mom's nails first because they were still wet. I was quite surprised that my mother's technician thought it would be OK to not dry her nails before letting her leave the facility. Overall, our visit went well, but because of those two instances I mentioned above, I have reduced my score from 4 to 3.
