My fiancée treated me to a gel manicure appointment for my birthday and she booked it the night…read morebefore for the only available spot at Nail Yeah! In the past, I've been loyal to one local chain boutique nail salon, but after a bad experience the last time, I was ready to branch out and try someplace new. Enter Nail Yeah! I had the best experience. I can truly say this is where I'll be coming now. I was impressed with not only the quality of the manicure and the cleanliness of the studio, but also the conversation with my nail tech Paulina and owner Crystal and the small, intimate feeling of the salon. I wasn't elbow to elbow with other clients or squeezing around work stations! Further, I felt super safe in regards to COVID precautions being taken by the salon with everybody wearing masks, receiving a temperature check at the door, being asked to wash my hands upon entrance, and Paulina wearing gloves and changing out paper towels and towels on her work station throughout my manicure. Finally, I'm really impressed with the social media presence of Nail Yeah!. I love that Crystal uses her business and her platform to amplify important causes. I love that I feel not only safe, but welcome as a gay client. I love that their values align with mine and I know I'm supporting good people and good values when I come to Nail Yeah!

I liked the short pinkish color I settled on. There want many options but I am very satisfied with this color. I purchased short press ons that included the entire kit. I followed the directions. I installed right before bed (so that my nails could set without any use after install). At least three didn't even hold up for a full 24 hours. The application process was a bit difficult compared to other press ons (like Kiss).

Posh was a nice salon with several attendants working at once. There was a large rush of people…read morecoming in around 2pm on a Friday but the wait was not too long. Offering beverages, and nail menus everyone seemed well taken care of... Nicole did a very nice job with my nails, especially since i had cut a nail too low and it was very sensitive. She was bright and friendly. I'm sure when I go back I'll ask for her help again!

After having a busy day with Doctor appointments, I decided to take myself and my parents out to…read moreget a manicure and pedicure. All three of us had birthdays in August, so it was the perfect opportunity to have a treat as well. Manicures and pedicures are not typically my thing, so I didn't readily have someplace in mind. I did a Google and Yelp search to find a place that had good reviews. I came across Posh Nails off of US Highway 17 in Garner and decided to go there and see if they allow walk-ins. Luckily, when I arrived they had availability and did allow walk-ins so the three of us were seated right away for our pedicures. It's a nice set up at this facility. They also have free beverages available while you're being serviced. Christina was my nail technician. She did a great job with my pedicure and my manicure. My parents pedicure and manicure also went well. There were two things that I observed during my visit that threw me for a loop. (1) I was unaware of an additional service charge separate from the cost for the manicure and the pedicure. My first thought was that the beverages aren't really free, and there's a secret charge for the beverages but when I inquired about what it was for, I was told it's because I had two different services done. That struck me as very odd. Some nail salons actually give you a discount if you're having a combination manicure and pedicure service. This was the very first time that I heard of a service charge because I had two services done instead of one. I was eager to see the bill so that I could see exactly how it was listed, but conveniently enough, I did not receive an itemized bill just a credit card receipt. (2) My technician set up a small fan so that I could have my nails dried before I left the facility; however, my mother's technician tried to have my mom leave right after he finished painting her nails without drying them first. It took my father's technician to point out to my mother's technician that he needed to dry my mom's nails first because they were still wet. I was quite surprised that my mother's technician thought it would be OK to not dry her nails before letting her leave the facility. Overall, our visit went well, but because of those two instances I mentioned above, I have reduced my score from 4 to 3.

Great price, grab you some wine and kick back! Staff are great also. Quick and efficient.read more

The first time I came here, I loved it. My roommate and I had the best time with the staff and our…read morenails looked fantastic. However, we went back and it was like a switch had been flipped. Music was so loud my friend and I couldn't even talk. I asked for a French tip with one white nail with a ladybug as pictured. I wish I caught the First Lady's name who did my nails, she was fantastic. My roommate had Kevin doing her nails. She wanted short almond shape (like I have). Kevin argues that you have to get long nails in order to do almond shape. She said that she had to get short nails because of work. He said he can't do short almond and my roommate agreed to short square. He began doing round nails. She asked him to stop and then he tried to act like she was the one being confusing. He proceeded to give her extremely thick square acrylics. Then came time for my ladybug. My nail tech warned me that she doesn't do designs, but she would try which I appreciated. She was not happy with her product so she said she was going to get Kevin to come and do my design. Kevin came over, already seeming annoyed. He spew through my ladybug half doing everything. As you can see some of the legs aren't even connected. There is no line down the body. And it's much smaller and off center. I know I could have said something. But at this point we just wanted to leave. It felt very unprofessional. A different tech got up on the nail bar dancing for someone's bday, pouring boxed wine into her mouth, and stuffing small oranges in her shirt. No joke. Very odd experience. On top of everything, there was an extra $10 on each of our bills. Online their prices say a full set is $55, French tip is $10, design $5 and up each nail. In my opinion. These "ladybugs" are $5 designs. So my bill should have been $75 but it was $85 in the end. I will not be returning.
