Its extended hours (lobby with clerks open to 9 pm on…read moreweekdays, unheard of!) are so convenient and helpful when I have something that must go out that day, but I've missed the cutoff at my local location. Lines can be long, but the self service kiosk can help me most times. Sometimes people jam the package bins, though, which somehow goes unnoticed by staff, and means you have to get in the sometimes long lines anyways. There are a wide range of extra services offered here, and tons of a wider variety of the free priority packaging options than most other locations have. There's a large parking lot, but people whip through it, so be careful! This location and its convenient extended hours are such an asset for local small business owners and residents alike.

But when I have needed window service, I have had polite and friendly help. Shoutout to Red!! Clerks have gone above and beyond for me, like when I've forgotten to cover something on a box which might affect delivery. Give respect, get it. I've learned, through talking to these folks, that sometimes there are circumstances beyond their control. People complaining don't seem to get that they have rules they need to follow. They care about their jobs, and they know what they should be doing and how to do it. Town Hall is across the street and despite a sign politely requesting only Post Office customers to use their lot, Town Hall customers park there, so it's not always as crowded as it might look. Lines can be long, yes. Many times there is only one clerk available, and since they do passports here, which take a LOT of time... well. There are also a lot of folks who require help with their packages. A lot of elderly folks and people who don't do it often enough to know how things work. If all you have is a dropoff, you're good. Please give the clerks a break, sometimes it really does take a while to give folks the service they need. I have seen people come into this place literally 2 minutes before closing, with a package that's STILL OPEN, and not even addressed. You think they're going to be happy about that!? Of course not. But they still spend a good 10-15 minutes helping anyway, advising folks of their options, taping up, etc. Sometimes scans take a while and there have been times when I checked tracking for my packages and didn't see a scan there for a few hours, but jeez, if you buy your labels online then you have a record, so no sweat. If there is a long line, and you really must have a scan of half a zillion packages and receipt printout and will snarl if you don't get it... I'd suggest going instead to the "basics" branch in the Four Seasons gas station at the intersection of Pawtucket & Waterman a mile or two away. Usually no line there.

My business partner and I started our company a little over a year ago and we designed our own logo and business cards to save money and to say they were lame would be an understatement. So we went to Minuteman press and sat down with them to design our logo, business cards, brochure and internet flyer. That was one of the best business decisions we have made. About a year ago I submitted a 3 week hold mail request. The mail was redelivered a week early-…read moreleft on my porch with the hold mail slip with the correct resume mail date right on the top of the pile. Luckily, a neighbor noticed the pile and retrieved it before it got soaked. I recently had my mail held for two weeks. When service had resumed but I had only received 4 pieces of mail I went to the post office to pick up the rest. The female clerk on the desk on 2/27 handed me a loose pile of mail. When I started to go through it I realized that I had at least 25 pieces of mail belonging to 3 different Portsmouth residents who lived at different addresses- credit card and bank statements, letters from health insurers, etc. In the middle of this pile I found a hold mail slip for one of these residents who was not due to return for another 2 weeks! If my two experiences with this post office are an example of how their operations are being run, it appears that some significant changes need to be made.

Told hubby I wanted to bring them there so I could talk to someone and weigh my options. I was SO glad I did! The owner was extremely helpful. He showed us our options & prices. Suggested the best way to send the envelope since it had some important info in it. When we left we were very pleased with the service & definitely plan on going there for our shipping needs in the future! Oh!! and they also sell packing supplies and have a kind of gift shop too! If you're in the area and the south attleboro post office is wicked busy or closed I suggest you go a little more south & check them out

Simply the best option in the area for developing film - & it's not even a close competition…read more Whether disposable or 45mm, the team here takes care to do the job efficiently & well. You "can" take your film to a big pharmacy chain to have it developed, but those companies ship out to a third party. It takes time. There's a risk of damaging the film. It's not supporting local. Kerry's team does it in house & does it quickly. They also use WeTransfer now, so if you don't need your negatives, you don't have to go back to pick up your goods. The prices are super reasonable & all the folks who work at Kerry's are pleasant to interact with. Highly recommend Kerry's & all of her film-related services. I can't speak to printing & framing & whatnot, but if they apply the same diligence they use for developing film to their other services, I'm sure they're fabulous.
