She walked me through the entire process, explaining the customs form in simple terms and answering every single one of my (many) questions without a hint of rush or annoyance. Thanks to Geri, what could have been a stressful and confusing errand turned into a quick, easy, and even enjoyable task. She is a tremendous asset to the post office and a shining example of what customer service should be. If you have a complicated mailing need, ask for Geri--she's the best! Located adjacent to Aquidneck Centre, there is a steady stream of traffic when trying to enter or exit so proceed with caution. Due to cutbacks, they don't have packaging tape for customer use anymore. They have boxes and padded mailers for sale along with gift cards, money orders and of course stamps. If you're just dropping a letter that has the postage affixed, the drop box is along the street and there's another inside. Sometime the staff on duty is minimal but they do an excellent job of being efficient without being curt with each customer. Inside is very clean and they kindly offer recommendations if you need them when mailing items. I couldn't find a smedium...yes small + medium = smedium, size box to mail a gift, thanks to Geri who assisted and ensured that it was properly wrapped to protect it from breakage. Her sense of humor and patience make you feel welcomed. If in the area, I would frequent again and can refer others to this location. The customer service here should be replicated at all their locations.

I have had other post office workers tell me that that was fine and they won't do anything for that weight bc they take the scales + or - into account. I paid $130 to ship a package FedEx Priority Overnight for Saturday delivery but the employee created the shipping label incorrectly. As a result, delivery was/is scheduled for Monday. It is a high value package going to a large apartment building in Manhattan. I arranged for the recipient to be there all day on Saturday. Since it will now be delivered on a work day, the package could very easily get lost sitting in a hallway for 10 hours. I spoke to Bill (owner) Saturday morning. This was his response: First thing he said -- "I don't like being bothered on a Saturday morning". He showed absolutely no willingness to even discuss, which added to my frustration. He told me he didn't like my tone. And when I said my husband (a regular customer also) wasn't happy either, Bill said "I'm sure he isn't, he has to listen to you" and hung up the phone. No apology. No attempt to rectify. No refund. Save yourself aggravation and money. Go to the FedEx store around the corner. They are professional, efficient and understand the value of customer service -- everything Post All is not.

I felt confident that the items I dropped off would be handled in a timely manner. If you'd like one, a receipt is given to allow you to track your shipment or returns. Capable of accepting cash, credit cards and contactless pay. Parking is shared in a shopping area, shared with neighboring businesses. No matter where you park, it is a short distance to the door. This location has a bin if you want to drop off your items you'd like shredded. It's a large 55 gallon, lidded trash can that is secured so once you put documents in it, no one can randomly pick through it. It's unlocked by the personnel who do the shredding. They can accept items for the USPS, FedEx, UPS and have items for sale if you need tape, boxes, envelopes, bubble wrap, styrofoam peanuts and postage. There's a copier on site, fax service and, a few other services. Conveniently located to me and the hours fit my schedule. I would frequent this business again as well as refer others if they needed any of the aforementioned services.

One of the things I really love about this post office is that it's so 'personal'. The employees have photos of the soccer team they coach, sports team banners, pictures a little customer drew for them, etc posted on the walls. A local woman keeps the wooden barrel planters out front filled with seasonal plants! That's the sort of thing you'll only find in a 'small town' post office like this one. The clerks and Post Master are friendly and always go the extra step to accommodate my needs. Some days the lines are long (holidays, summers) and the clerks calmly give each customer their full attention. Sometimes staff are limited to what they can do by post office policy, but in my experience, they do everything they can and are happy to assist. The customer service area has 'flat rate' USPS boxes, forms you may need for registered mail, return receipt, customs forms, etc., plus a 'shipping center' where you can purchase your packing materials. If you live on the island, you can rent a post office box here - mail is up by 10 am Monday - Saturday and the local paper is included in your mail box by Thursday morning. In a business like the post office not everyone is clamoring to write a review and the only time you may think to write one is when you are unhappy. In the seven years I have been frequenting this location, I've only had positive experiences. I have found the folks here to be very friendly and I highly recommend this location for your postal business.
