Unfortunately, the occasion for using Gordon's Ink was not a happy one: I wanted a large headshot blown up for a memorial service. I also had several other photos enlarged, but on a smaller scale. I needed all of this with a four day turnaround and I ended up needing one of the photo scans for the memorial program and Chris was great! I have done some of my own enlargements using Picasa and cheap photo labs and it ended up being well worth it to employ someone to get good quality enlargements. It helped that I had high quality originals, but I was thrilled with the end product. Chris' prices seemed reasonable given the quality. I think we paid $70 for an enlargement from 5x8 to poster size. This included whatever touchups were needed. I didn't compare them head to head, but I know the studio mark, at a minimum, was edited out which was great. Go check out this man's company! If I lived in the area, I would consider getting some of my own travel photos done up for hanging here.

I received the guidance that I was looking for and was able to make a truly informed decision, a final product that I was really blown away with, and a nice demeanor to boot. I don't have a need to ship a package very often, but when I do, this is the UPS location I have…read moreused over the past several years. Our last visit we needed to return the previous owners license plate from a vehicle we recently purchased in another state. The original owner let us use their plate until we had it register here in RI. As soon as we had the vehicle registered, we stopped by UPS and sent the plate on it's way back home. The gentleman assisting us was polite and enthusiastic. We let him know what was needed, he quickly began the process of creating a label for the package and let us know when the package should arrive, barring any unforeseen circumstances. There was some information on the label that needed to be changed (name spelling), which was quickly accomplished. I wanted to be sure the spelling was correct as the package was being picked up at another UPS store, not delivered to a business or home. We paid a reasonable amount, had the tracking number in hand and were out of the building in just minutes. The package did arrive in the time expected. The owner let me know they had returned the plate to their DMV and that was that. Quick and efficient. Just what you want in a delivery service.

I was expertly assisted in deciding on minor details like which mat best complemented the art, how to best size the mat, and which frame looked best. The work that they did for me was meticulous.
