They have a nice selection of sushi, wagyu, noodles, and Japanese sandwiches, so there's definitely something for everyone! I started with the Shigoku oysters and hamachi tataki. Both were great choices if you enjoy seafood, especially if you prefer something lighter before moving on to the heavier dishes. Next was the Wagyu Waku roll, made with wagyu and shrimp tempura. I also tried the curry udon, which was a nice change from the sushi. The noodles had a great texture, and I enjoyed having something warm and comforting alongside the other dishes. My absolute favorite was the Wagyu sando! The contrast between the crispy exterior, juicy meat, and soft Japanese milk bread was so satisfying. If you're visiting for the first time, this is the one item I would absolutely recommend ordering. It's also something a little different from what you typically find at a sushi restaurant. For dessert, I had the strawberry cream sando, which was a lighter, sweeter way to finish the meal. A little insider tip: They also have a separate sando shop in Wynwood specializing in Japanese sandwiches. So if you're mainly interested in trying their sandos, you don't necessarily have to make the trip to Doral. Overall, Aiko & Mumu is worth checking out if you're looking for Japanese food beyond traditional sushi. There's a good variety of dishes, and the Wagyu sando alone would be enough to bring me back! Would I return? Yes, especially for that Wagyu sando!

All of the sushi we tried in the Pandora's Box was excellent. The fatty tuna was melt in your mouth and all of the rolls were tasty and fresh. I don't normally opt for California rolls, but this might be the best I've ever tried. I had the onigiri bento and it felt like I was back in Japan. It's getting a little more common to find onigiri here, but it's still rare. And now I can say I have a legit place to get great onigiri. And I especially appreciated the delicious and so-authentic Japanese pickles that come in the bento. The umeboshi is just like I remember back in Japan. I loved the yakitori skewers, though the chicken ball skewer was a bit too sweet for me. My friend had the dark miso ramen which he really liked and said was better than Ichimi's ramen, which had been the best I've found here in Miami, so that's pretty high praise! The gyoza we had was better than any I've tried even in Japan. The perfectly crisp pan seared side was so good, and the filling was delicious. We liked all of the recommendations we got for our sake flight which we split three ways. I loved my cloudy sake-not too sweet and so clean tasting. Lastly, our waiter was awesome. Attentive, knew the menu well, had good recommendations and asked good questions. The sous chef saw us with our pup outside and had a big smile waiting for us letting us know they were happy to welcome us and our dog in the outside tables. I wished I lived closer, it's about a 40 minute drive, but that's not going to stop my wife and I from becoming regulars here. Can't say enough nice things about Anaba!

Server was pleasant and friendly but accidentally put in an order for an onigiri that we never ordered and forgot to put in the order for a black garlic ramen my friend ordered. When we asked about the missing ramen order he quickly went to the back to put in the order but ordered the wrong ramen which was a regular tonkatsu ramen. Another thing that was a little irritating was that the bathroom's paper towel dispenser was empty so you couldn't dry your hands after washing. Given that there was only one other table with two customers during the entire duration of our meal, it seems kind of inexcusable that the employees could not check and replace the dispenser while they were also using during the time of service. Regarding the meal, The black Garlic ramen was decent albeit slightly salty and the texture of the noodles was nice. My friends tonkatsu ramen was a little too creamy for the soup and came with thinner b noodles which was a little disappointing and unexpected as it was not mentioned in the menu that there were any differences in the type of noodles in each ramen choices. The sushi rolls were good. They were well made and flavorful. Overall I would recommend this place and think it's worth a try.

For my feast, I ordered the Assorted Crispy Rice, the Sushi Combo for my entrée, and saved room for the warm "Ligers" Cookie. Everything arrived in a reasonable amount of time, and the food was on point. The sushi tasted fresh and was nicely prepared, but the crispy rice stole the show for me! Crunchy, flavorful, and absolutely my favorite of the meal. And that warm cookie? Freshly baked vibes all the way! Soft, warm, and just done right. The perfect little finale. Now, here comes my one Yelp Elite observation... For such a beautifully decorated restaurant, I was surprised by the extremely casual attire. I spotted quite a few guests in gym clothes, while others looked like they had just stepped away from cleaning their house. Listen, I'm all for being comfortable, but when the restaurant has this much style, a little effort in the wardrobe department would definitely complement the experience. A simple dress-code guideline from management could elevate the entire vibe. Great sushi. Great crispy rice. Great cookie. Just bring the restaurant's dress code up to the same level as its food and décor. Overall, a tasty experience with plenty to enjoy, and yes, I'd come back for that crispy rice!
