    Bar

Dropped by here on a weekday afternoon and it was pretty empty since there wasn't a game. Staff was quick to take my order and I was able to sip on a delicious beer in less than a minute. There are plenty of beers on tap with plenty of seating and a number of tv's to catch the game. Definitely worth a visit if you like Elysian beers or if you're looking to grab a beer in the area.

    Now this.

I've only been here a couple times but yummy! Came here today for a brew before going to the car show. I had an amber ale. A delicious golden brew light for Elysian Beer. They had just opened so the place was empty and I enjoyed chatting with Corey the bartender. The space is huge inside here and Lumen field is right next door. Maybe sometime I'll eat some food here. But for now, the beverages are what I'm down for. Drink well and treat yourself!

Not sure why this place has 3 stars! Good beer and great location. We headed here after a Sounders game to watch the Mariners playoff game. Plenty of TVs, seating and people slinging beers. I mean what more could you want?

    Delicious Mac and cheese

The Mac and cheese is incredible. They make it with their beer cheese sauce and it's is rich, savory and creamy an everything you would want your perfect Mac and cheese to be. Not pictured is my cherry limeade. It was very refreshing. Our server was great he checked on us frequently and refilled the sodas often. I love the sports bar atmosphere . We got there right when it open and I would say there was a frequent flow of people going in for a weekday.

We decided to hit up Elysian Fields before catching a Mariners-Red Sox game at nearby T-Mobile Park. We got there about two hours before the game began, where we were able to beat the rest of the crowd. We got off the train at the International/Chinatown station, which was about a 10 or so minute walk to get here. As we approached the entrance, we saw a sign on the door of the 1st Avenue entrance that said, "Please Use Occidental Avenue Entrance", though this door itself was cracked open. We were initially confused, but we used the 1st Avenue entrance anyway. It wasn't that busy so nobody really noticed that we entered through the wrong door. We found the Occidental Avenue entrance in the back, where security was guarding the door, checking IDs, and stamping peoples' hands. Elysian had many beers on tap to choose from! We ended up skipping the food here so we only had beer. I ordered the Hydra Hefeweizen and my dad ordered the Odd Berry Citrus Sour. The Hefeweizen is one of my faves to drink and it had that excellent light flavor to it. My dad said that he enjoyed his sour. This is a great place to go to before or after the game. It's also conveniently located across the street from Lumen Field!

The bartender Aaron said he was new behind the bar but he seemed like a seasoned professional. Super awesome patio and the relaxed vibes on a Tuesday afternoon was exceptional.

    Mac & Cheese -AWESOME

Decided to stop in on a Sunday around noon to watch a baseball game on one of their many TVs. First off, I love how spacious this place is. There's ample seating so even if it gets crowded you'll still be able to find a place to sit and hangout for a bit. The food options here are fantastic. We tried the cheese curds, hummus plate, and garlic fries for our apps. Would genuinely order all of these again. For my main I had a pesto chicken sandwich with a side Caesar. It we light and so very tasty. Also the brews on tap are cold, crisp, and honestly a bit strong so be careful! Looking forwards to stopping in here again one day soon.

This is what I got for $16.99. Not even a game day. I live in the neighborhood. I won't be back.

Do they open early on Seahawks home game days? It says they open at noon on Sunday's but the Hawks play at 1. Hoping they open earlier than noon.

Yes about 3 hours before game time

From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere captures you: modern décor, intimate lighting, and a warm vibe that feels both upscale and inviting. Everything is immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. If you're a bourbon lover, this place is paradise. Their collection is incredible, but what truly sets them apart is the service. The Bourbon Curators, Ms. Hannah and Mr. Tommy, along with our amazing waitress Ms. Sassy, make you feel like a VIP from start to finish. They welcome you with open arms and create a personalized bourbon journey -- teaching you about flavor profiles, history, and how to discover different palettes you never knew you had. It's not just a drink menu... it's an experience. And the food? Michelin-worthy. We shared the Autumn Chicory Salad and the homemade Autumn Mushroom Pasta -- both beautifully crafted, rich in flavor, and perfectly paired with the bourbon experience. Every bite showed off the kitchen's talent and passion. We were actually recommended this restaurant by strangers we met at the Seattle Space Needle -- and wow, did they steer us right. The Ballard's Cut surpassed every expectation. If you love bourbon, phenomenal food, and top-tier service from people who treat you like family, then this is the place. Do not miss it.

I genuinely don't know what to do with that explanation. The food took so long. I ordered my steak medium rare and it arrived overcooked. I thought this was a steakhouse and yall can't even cook a steak medium rare? One person in our party never received their salad despite asking multiple times. Their stupid steak dish is $50 entree with zero sides. I added cauliflower for an extra $17 charge and received something I could have made in five minutes. Finally, we tried to order dessert and were told they were out of the item we all wanted. This place is a ripoff with terrible service.

The space has a warm, modern-industrial vibe, wood floors, soft lighting, exposed ceilings, and thoughtful decorative touches. It's intimate without feeling cramped, and the open kitchen adds a nice energy. Our server was incredibly personable and professional, striking that perfect balance of friendly and knowledgeable. We did the American Omakase. We started with a trio of entry snacks: smoked anchovies, prosciutto with watermelon, and fresh focaccia. The anchovies were punchy and vibrant, definitely for fans of big flavor. The prosciutto and watermelon were refreshing, and the focaccia tasted like it came straight from a great neighborhood bakery. Course 1: Amberjack Crudo Fresh, clean, and beautifully balanced. The tomato compote and rolled vegetables paired so well together, and the flakes of salt on top really opened up the flavor of the fish. Course 2: Diver Maine Scallop Hands down one of the highlights of the night. The scallop was paired with breadcrumbs, oyster mushrooms, and a miso sauce that made the whole dish feel warm, savory, and almost Thanksgiving-like in its comfort. VERY good. Course 3: Pork Belly Served with carrot puree, apple "sauce", and leeks. The pork belly itself was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the sweetness of the apple paired perfectly. The leeks were a surprise standout. Course 4: Lamb Rich, moist, and deeply seasoned, with a lovely rub. The artichoke hearts added such a sharp, earthy contrast that it legit gave me goosebumps. The potato purée and jus tied everything together. Course 5, Dessert: Chocolate something (oops it was like a mousse) with Poached Pears & Raspberry Creamy, balanced, and not overly sweet. A perfect finish. Overall, Violet delivered a thoughtful, memorable meal with impeccable pacing and standout dishes from start to finish. Would absolutely return

Inspired by two British drinking terms, Brimmer & Heeltap seeks to celebrate the moments that exist between the first sip of one's libation and the last drops lingering at the bottom of the glass. Since late 2013 we've delighted in creating an environment that is inviting, lively, and comforting. A sense of playfulness is present in everything we do, from the inventive dishes our culinary team prepares, to the friendly, genuine hospitality we provide. We're a bistro that takes pride in being a neighborhood place - the kind you can escape to at day's end for a delicious meal shared among friends." Ambiance: "Located in the former Le Gourmand space in beautiful Ballard, Brimmer & Heeltap offers an intimate, cozy atmosphere complete with an open kitchen, full bar, and multiple sections to drink and dine in. Our garden patio is one of the best-kept secrets in the city, offering a dreamy place to dine outdoors during Seattle's spring and summer months. We also have a tucked-away back studio that offers the perfect setting for special, private gatherings year-round. Just how many pennies does it take to cover a floor? This dining room, beloved for both its wall of menus and its shining penny floor, is a favorite place to break bread with loved ones, and plays into the restaurant's blend of nostalgic and contemporary design. The restaurant was designed in collaboration with Sean Sifagaloa of KRFTWRK and local builder Mike Marian, owner of Marian Built. What I ordered: Wishing to sample a little of everything, we were served, family style, two orders of Bread ($9 each) - buttered with salt and pepper; Fritto Misto ($12) - assorted, lightly fried and pickled vegetables with tarragon aioli; Smashed Burrata ($19) - snap peas, preserved lemon, mint, basil, sherry reduction; Carrot & Tahini Dip ($16) - caramelized garlic, feta, pistachio, crudite; two orders of Heirloom Tomatoes ($21 each) - melon, chevre, crispy quino, soft herbs; Crispy Potatoes ($16) - whipped feta, hot honey, mint; Mushroom Agnolotti ($34) - roasted maitakes, chanterelles, whipped ricotta, miso butter, thyme; Roast Chicken ($42) - chickpea, berbere yogurt, marinated cucumber, mint gremolata. To finish off our meals, we shared the Olive Oil Cake ($14) - basil yogurt cremeux, strawberry gel, and the Chocolate Tiramisu ($16) - mascarpone, rum, amaretto, candied hazelnuts. What I loved: Oh man, every dish was delightful. I found something to savor and repeat in each of the dishes we were served. From the sweetness of the heirloom tomatoes, to the creamy burrata, from the crispy potatoes, to the fresh peas and everything in between. Our least favorite, at the table was the mushroom Angnolotti, inconsistent from bite to bite. The presentation of the Carrot & Tahini dip was a bit haphazard compared to the rest of the dishes served, but the flavor was still lovely. Why I loved it: The service was unparalleled, comfortable yet professional and quick to offer recommendations for our larger party. The decorations and quaint spaces truly welcoming, and the food, excellent. Cost: High ($40+ per person)
