By far the best vintage shop in Orange County, CA! I shop tons of vintage stores and this is my absolute favorite. The shop has a great boutique feel. The owner, Kristine, is fabulous and always willing to help and I have been in so many times that she knows what I like, so often suggests things that "look like me". This place is fabulous, tons of amazing vintage pieces and the staff is super friendly. Prices are pretty reasonable, and I managed to scored a striped 60s dress for $13! It was marked down 50% twice because of some light dirt stains that wouldn't come off, and a couple patches of loose stitching. I honestly didn't even notice the stains at first and it was pretty easy to fix up the loose threads, love my new purchase now. I also came across a gorgeous Victorian boned jacket priced at $124, had my wallet been fatter I just might have snapped that up too. read more

This is my go to vintage store! Let me count the ways I love Elsewhere Vintage: 1. Beautifully organized selection of dresses, pants, skirts, and jackets. The dresses are ordered by decade which makes it very easy to look for the style you want. All the other clothes have the decade listed on the tag. 2. AH-MAZING service! My boyfriend and I frequent this shop so often we have come to know the employees there. They are always kind and helpful but not overbearing. Also, we have met the owner of the store a few times and man she is so passionate and knowledgeable about vintage clothing. She was telling us all these stories about zoot suites and the history behind the clothing. She seems like such a cool woman. 3. You have a very high likelihood of finding a treasure at a reasonable price! Compared to other high end vintage stores you can really find a bargain shopping here. What's more, is next door to this location there is a strictly women's store with more high end pieces. Let me tell you, these dresses are gorgeous, but they are expensive. This is the best Vintage clothing store I've ever been in. Love to look thru all the clothes. I am so amazed that these fabulous items have survived. I bought a cute little "70's" dress that I've gotten so many compliments on. The prices vary. Some things are reasonable and some things are priced high. That's what we should expect. Stumbled upon this store on a visit to Orange vintage row. What a find! Adorable, neatly organized and just fun to browse even if you don't buy anything. Elsewhere Vintage is uh-maze-ing! We are from out of town but were visiting family in Orange County and we happened to stop in at the Men's Store. My fiance bought the coolest belt and suspenders. The owner of the shop was so helpful and nice! We walked over to the Women's Store next and i really couldn't control myself. The pieces are so beautiful and well taken care of. I walked away with the perfect high-waisted jeans, some amazing black trousers, two beautiful 50's dresses and a skirt. As if that weren't enough, I came back the next day and found an Italian leather purse, another dress and shoes. This place is simply a treasure trove, and the prices are extremely fair. The owners of both shops are a husband and wife team who really care about vintage clothing and their customers, and it shows in their shops. They were both just so extremely helpful and kind. Any time I have been in the shop, the staff - and especially Kristine herself - are more than accommodating, even to the point of going in the back to check for additional stock that meets my requests but may not yet have been put out on the floor for sale. Prices are very reasonable for AUTHENTIC vintage, quality of the items is fantastic, and the staff KNOWS what they are talking about! Considering that women's sizes have altered drastically and arbitrarily (today's size 6 used to be a size 12! WHUT??), I'm extremely grateful that they take the extra time and care to measure and provide garments that will fit beautifully and as intended. Great store, but pricey for ME, since I don't have a job. If you have money to spend, this store is definitely as good as it gets. Mostly everything I saw was beautiful and one of a kind. I really wanted to buy an authentic hippie vest" but couldn't do to lack of money. Will definitely be coming back once I have enough money to spend. Really nice store. This place was awesome! So many cool outfits to choose from with really reasonable prices! My sister was looking for a 1950's dress for a New Year's Eve party. She found so many dresses to choose from and the sales girl was really friendly and even helped with zippering her up and putting the rejected outfits back for us. My sister narrowed her choices down to three, but ended up buying a really cool olive green tweed dress and matching coat. We checked in on Yelp and were able to get 10% off. Out the door she spent less than $60. This store was really organized and clean and so much fun to shop around in. The best thing about the stores, besides the selection, is the organization! They have everything categorized by decade. How smart is that? Instead of browsing through clothes upon clothes on racks until I find the perfect Mod Mini dress, I just go directly to the "1960s" rack and its like I have a personal shopper! This place takes vintage seriously. There are signs all over the place that say to please not grab on the clothing and to move them carefully by the hanger. Rightfully so! The selection is amazing of clothes, shoes, hats, gloves, even lingerie. Aside from that, this is where my mom gets her lipstick- it's pricey but the colors are rich, beautiful, and they even have a nice subtle sweet taste on the lips. The owner is usually always there, helpful with suggestions and looking like she really enjoys working in this adorable shop. If you have any questions the staff seems very knowledgeable and friendly every time. They also carry a few new items that are styled after vintage patterns and the like. The staff seem passionate about their products and even dress according to the era. The lady who helped me try on a hat from the 1950s that I was interested in was very sweet and showed me how to untie/bring down the veil, while explaining that purpose of that design.
