Don't let other reviews scare you- the items in the shop are meticulously hand picked for originality and authenticity. of the items are vintage, perhaps others felt wronged but I have only had exceptional service and kindness while shopping. This is my go to vintage store! Let me count the ways I love Elsewhere Vintage: 1. Beautifully organized selection of dresses, pants, skirts, and jackets. The dresses are ordered by decade which makes it very easy to look for the style you want. All the other clothes have the decade listed on the tag. 2. AH-MAZING service! My boyfriend and I frequent this shop so often we have come to know the employees there. They are always kind and helpful but not overbearing. Also, we have met the owner of the store a few times and man she is so passionate and knowledgeable about vintage clothing. She was telling us all these stories about zoot suites and the history behind the clothing. She seems like such a cool woman. 3. You have a very high likelihood of finding a treasure at a reasonable price! Compared to other high end vintage stores you can really find a bargain shopping here. What's more, is next door to this location there is a strictly women's store with more high end pieces. Let me tell you, these dresses are gorgeous, but they are expensive. This is the best Vintage clothing store I've ever been in. Love to look thru all the clothes. I am so amazed that these fabulous items have survived. I bought a cute little "70's" dress that I've gotten so many compliments on. The prices vary. Some things are reasonable and some things are priced high. That's what we should expect. This shop is too cute! I could have spent hours in there but I would have also spent all of my money so I limited myself to perusing the jewelry and certain racks of clothing. The care that Kristine and her staff put into cultivating unique and good condition vintage clothing is really quite amazing! They are extremely knowledgeable in their field and passionate to boot! Their pricing is always quite fair (each article is most likely one of a kind at this point), especially when you consider that any garment that can be is either washed or dry cleaned before being put on the rack! If you get your kicks finding something the market values at $200 for $10 at an estate sale, then sure, you're in the wrong place, but if you value service, product care and knowledge, and small family business, then I imagine you will love this place. The one negative I would have to say is that all the dresses and outfits seem to be one size...very small. Everything was adorable though so I suggest if you don't weigh 120 pounds at 5'5, go somewhere else. read more

We were looking for a 1920's Flapper headband and necklace. The choices were very nice and the prices comparable to the Web. The nice part was that we could see and try what we were buying, not buying blindly, and it was very good quality. Online left us guessing. Stumbled upon this store on a visit to Orange vintage row. What a find! Adorable, neatly organized and just fun to browse even if you don't buy anything. I wasn't "looking" to buy anything, but ended up with an adorable fringed 60's black cocktail dress and a jewelry box. Nice sales help and owner (or at least I think it was the owner). I adore this store - coming in always makes me incredibly happy and feeling like I'm finally "at home." As a vintage loving gal, its hard to find a place that 'gets' you... but this is the place. Elsewhere Vintage is uh-maze-ing! We are from out of town but were visiting family in Orange County and we happened to stop in at the Men's Store. My fiance bought the coolest belt and suspenders. The owner of the shop was so helpful and nice! We walked over to the Women's Store next and i really couldn't control myself. The pieces are so beautiful and well taken care of. I walked away with the perfect high-waisted jeans, some amazing black trousers, two beautiful 50's dresses and a skirt. As if that weren't enough, I came back the next day and found an Italian leather purse, another dress and shoes. This place is simply a treasure trove, and the prices are extremely fair. The owners of both shops are a husband and wife team who really care about vintage clothing and their customers, and it shows in their shops. They were both just so extremely helpful and kind. I went there today in hopes of finding the perfect dress for my niece's wedding. The owner, Christine, was a delight. Great store, but pricey for ME, since I don't have a job. If you have money to spend, this store is definitely as good as it gets. Mostly everything I saw was beautiful and one of a kind. I really wanted to buy an authentic hippie vest" but couldn't do to lack of money. Will definitely be coming back once I have enough money to spend. Really nice store. This place was awesome! So many cool outfits to choose from with really reasonable prices! My sister was looking for a 1950's dress for a New Year's Eve party. She found so many dresses to choose from and the sales girl was really friendly and even helped with zippering her up and putting the rejected outfits back for us. My sister narrowed her choices down to three, but ended up buying a really cool olive green tweed dress and matching coat. We checked in on Yelp and were able to get 10% off. Out the door she spent less than $60. This store was really organized and clean and so much fun to shop around in. I love this place! It is so great to go into a vintage store that is run by knowledgeable people with great taste and a even greater love and respect for all things vintage. I go crazy everything I go into this store. I could spend hours in here and still manage to find something I never noticed before. The best thing about the stores, besides the selection, is the organization! They have everything categorized by decade. How smart is that? Instead of browsing through clothes upon clothes on racks until I find the perfect Mod Mini dress, I just go directly to the "1960s" rack and its like I have a personal shopper! The price is pretty good considering yes it is vintage, and they have the BEST selection of hats I have EVER seen! I am wearing one right now that I picked up at the store yesterday. They also carry Besame cosmetics, which if you are a makeup/ vintage clothing fan like me, this makeup line will be right up your alley! This place takes vintage seriously. There are signs all over the place that say to please not grab on the clothing and to move them carefully by the hanger. Rightfully so! The selection is amazing of clothes, shoes, hats, gloves, even lingerie. Aside from that, this is where my mom gets her lipstick- it's pricey but the colors are rich, beautiful, and they even have a nice subtle sweet taste on the lips. The owner is usually always there, helpful with suggestions and looking like she really enjoys working in this adorable shop. Their clothes aren't just for Halloween- this style is coming back with a vengeance and they always have a great selection of 1940's and 1950's flowy sun dresses and printed shirtdresses. Items are priced comparably to modern items (so, a 50's day dress costs about the same or a little less than a similar one from ModCloth, for example) which is great for quality vintage. Any time I have been in the shop, the staff - and especially Kristine herself - are more than accommodating, even to the point of going in the back to check for additional stock that meets my requests but may not yet have been put out on the floor for sale. Prices are very reasonable for AUTHENTIC vintage, quality of the items is fantastic, and the staff KNOWS what they are talking about! Considering that women's sizes have altered drastically and arbitrarily (today's size 6 used to be a size 12! WHUT??), I'm extremely grateful that they take the extra time and care to measure and provide garments that will fit beautifully and as intended.
