This place is adorable. All the pieces are in good condition and are incredibly well-priced. They have shoes, coats, dresses, skirts, even undergarments :) The jewelry is really cute, as well. The men's stuff is also of good quality and fairly priced. I asked the owner where she gets all her amazing pieces. She said she looks everywhere, going all over the country. I was concerned about all the high school kids who filled the place right after school let out, but the staff took the influx of possibly dirty fingers and annoyingly giggly 16 year olds in stride. I don't know if I would've been that calm with that many little 'uns around. I ended up leaving with a gorgeous 1960s overcoat for a really great price, and actually probably less than what I would've paid for a new, cheaply-made one. If you're into vintage, you can't miss this spot. read more

Time to sing the praises of this wonderful vintage shop. :D The owner and staff were pleasant and very helpful. Always nice to see an owner who is "living the dream". I loved the music and positive energy in the store. Good people definitely are here. I'm thankful that the girl working let me keep trying on clothes after it was time to close up. Thank you so much for this! With vintage you have to try on lots and lots of different items until you find what fits you. Cuts are different, sizes are different. So it took me awhile...but then I found the dress that I was looking for! I can't wait to wear it out to an event for Yelp this week!! I will be back in the future for more digs. Can't wait! read more

I have been wanting to go into this store forever!! Today was the day and I'm so pleased. Beautiful clothing and nicely displayed. Things are easy to find and Christine was very helpful and kind. I found the most incredible blue flower print dress with a matching cover-up; so 1950/60s... I'm in love. So tasteful, feminine and playful. Will be wearing to my babies baptism. Yay!! As a bonus also found a lovely 1920s style black taffeta-like party dress which I can't wait to wear out. Date night here I come!! Weeee!!! So I think I officially found my new FAVORITE store. Thank you!!!! read more

I am a big vintage shopper and was excited to check this place out as I am visiting from NYC. There was a dress hanging up high on the wall I wanted to see. I asked the associate (page) if I could see it. Her response was very unprofessional and rude. She told me the dress was extra, extra, extra small and doesn't fit many people.. basically refusing to let me look at it or try on. I wear 0-2 dress size.. I was very offended. I've never had this treatment anywhere I've ever shopped. Her job is to sell items and help customers not try to make people not want to purchase the item. She definitely needs some manners and training. Horrible place to shop. read more

This store fulfills all my needs! Whether I need a new skirt/dress for the coming weekend or need a new purse for the season or even if I just want to see a friendly face with a friendly smile...it's got it all! Everything is organized by decades, which makes it very easy to shop if you're looking for something in particular. They offer a variety of products from clothes to jewelry to even makeup, so if you're looking for a one stop shop, this could be it for you. Best of all, everyone that works here is super helpful and very easygoing. Personally working in retail and doing my best to offer great customer service, it is really nice to receive it in return when going out to shop for myself, and Elsewhere Vintage definitely fills that satisfaction. I love this place, and although I, too, want to keep this shop a secret to myself, it is too awesome of a store to not want to see it thrive! read more

love love love this store. I've recently transitioned to only purchasing vintage or second hand clothing as newer clothing tends to come from inhumane working environments and conditions. My first experience with elsewhere vintage was fall 2016 before the fall dapper day. I purchased a statement wool dress that wasn't exactly cheap. However, the quality of service and merchandise quickly made up for that. Paige was the lovely girl who helped me pick out my dapper day outfit. She was extremely friendly, personable, and drop dead gorgeous. Ever since, I've even a very frequent visitor of the shop and have purchased countless dresses from them. Thank you elsewhere vintage for existing! read more

I've been a fan of secondhand and vintage shopping for decades. I have been to vintage stores in Asia and Europe and this place is one of the best. The items are carefully selected and bought by independent dealers, according to the store clerks. Each item is tagged with information about the piece including its price (of course), size (down to the bust/waist size), and the period/decade from which it came. I spent about 2-3 hours studying several pieces, reading their detailed descriptions and trying them on. The 2 store clerks seemed to be art students and they were quite friendly. According to them, the store obtains new pieces everyday and the success is growing so much that they are opening another store down the street. The prices vary and seem to be quite high. However, they seem to be reasonable considering the uniqueness and quality of the pieces. I have plans to frequent the store in the future. read more

It's hard to find a place as dedicated to not only curating beautiful vintage pieces, but educating and helping put together looks to keep people inspired and happy with something that is as unique as shopping here. I'm an installation artist and a "dresser" for people who want a particular look from a particular decade, and want something genuine, period-accurate, beautiful and unique. NO matter if I'm looking for something completely unwearable and in tatters but over 100 years-old, or a pristine 1940's evening-gown for a night of dancing, I am consistently impressed with the way that I am treated, and how dedicated Kristine and the other members of her staff are to getting quality goods to their customers. (FYI they also have plenty of 100+ year clothing that is in pristine condition :) I am a cis-gendered male in a women's vintage clothing shop. I am used to being questioned, looked at oddly, (all in a day's work---) but upon my first day in, I was treated graciously and with enthusiasm. The ladies working there spent well over half an hour pulling dresses, suggesting new styles, and working with my model to tirelessley find the perfect dress for my client, even going so far as to help her in and out of even the rarest and most delicate dresses---ask me how I feel about having a customer handle an enormous, delicate, elaborate satin 1930's evening gown---- and some say that prices are high? It's nothing compared to all the work that goes into the experience, and the quality and the rarity of the pieces themselves. I hope I look half as good as all of those dresses once I hit 70. I highly highly recommend those with even the most specific demands to come to Elsewhere Vintage with your looks and dreams in mind. Just know what you are looking for, be understanding about the wonderfully mercurial nature of vintage clothing, and definitely remember to show your appreciation for the business and the products. So much work goes into the whole thing, that it's easy to take a small business like this one for granted. There are very few things in this world that I can dedicate myself to doing 24/7, and these guys gotta get some credit for it. Love the whole experience. I am sure you will leave with a new favorite treasure. -Ryan H PS---I should probably know her actual name because she's literally the most helpful person and helped me multiple times, but if you go in and see an impeccably dressed brunette with a killer suicide roll, she's awesome. read more

I love to thrift and read about this store close to me. Great selection. Clothing from many eras, I was impressed. They also carry a line of dresses that are reproductions from the 1920's that were stunning. This will be on my list of my go to vintage shops. read more

I wasn't looking for this place during a recent Orange Circle stroll, but I found it and I'm glad I did. Elsewhere Vintage is exactly what every fella hopes they'll find at a vintage shop, but seldom does. Mid-century light fixtures, night stands and steamer trunks (all for sale) set the ambiance while serving as the display stands fore EV's carefully-selected collections. Cuff links, ties separated by era, fedoras, suits and slacks comprise some of their offerings. What makes EV amazing is the attention to quality treasure hunting its owners have undertaken. Some items are still in the original 40s and 50s packaging, including Van Heusen shirts, shaving/grooming materials and beautiful pocket lighters. Rather than a rounder of over washed, nondescript bowling shirts -- EV displays two or three, highlighted by striking colors, with classic embroidery (they seriously look fresh out of a 1955 Elks Lodge tournament). That type of thoughtful selection is exactly what makes this place so special. I had resolved not to go into vintage stores anymore. They traditionally deliver very poorly on what they claim to offer, but at Elsewhere Vintage, they clearly live and love this style (and this is obvious to me after having only visited once). When you enter, see the selection and style, hear the Andrews Sisters-era music playing and speak with Paul (great conversationalist) -- you'll love it too. read more

The gold standard to which all vintage stores should be held. The vintage is exquisite. It is organized by decade, measurements are written on the tag, and is in beautiful condition. The prices are on the higher side- but for the experience and quality- totally worth every penny. If you are looking for a special dress for a certain occasion- this would be the first place to go- because I can almost guarantee that you will find it here. They also carry Besame cosmetics for anyone interested in this line- and you can try out the shades. Above all, the owner and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell that they are passionate about vintage- they adore it- and that is the driving force behind this successful little shop. read more

I can't get enough of this place! It's conveniently located in Old Town Orange, and just fantastic. The woman who runs the place is just lovely and so so classy. The selection she provides as far as stock is also very nice. She even carries vintage style makeup! Probably my favorite vintage place to get sun glasses :3 read more

Hands down the best vintage store I've ever been too! Wonderful selection of clothing and accessories, thoughtfully curated, lovingly cared for and very reasonably priced. The shop is organized by era, and individual items are labeled with helpful details about time period, garment type etc. Also, the staff are friendly and knowledgable about the clothing-- no snobbery or pretense here, just a clear love of and and appreciation for beautiful vintage clothing. read more

I could have spent the entire day in this vintage wonderland. Such beautiful things and really well taken care of. The women who work there really know the fashion of the eras. Before you try anything on they remind you that clothes were made differently 60 years ago, they don't stretch, don't stretch the seems or zippers, they do this so that they can keep this rare items beautiful and in one piece. One of my favorite things about this place is not only do they have dresses, they have hats (I'm a huge fan of hats, and they're so hard to find ), scarves, handkerchiefs, jewelry and so much more. All at a extremely reasonable price. Seriously, as a fan of vintage this stuff can get pretty pricy. I will definitely be returning!! read more

I recently moved from Orange County to the Burbank area. I was happy to find that I was minutes away from a boulevard filled with vintage clothing stores. I've visited a handful of them and none of them gave me the same impression as Elsewhere Vintage in Old Town Orange. The dresses, coats, hats and jewelery are of outstanding quality. I've never had a piece fall apart, unlike some of my purchases at the Sunday flea markets. I AM ALWAYS GREETED when I'm in the store and receive OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVCE, especially Kristine and Kalli! Kristine has an amazing eye for finding top quality merchandise. I've never met a person who respects vintage clothing the way she does. All of the items that I've purchased in the past were dry cleaned prior to being put on the rack! Seriously folks! When you go in, make sure you take a look at the items in the display cases. There are treasures to be found in the form of pins, amazing statement necklaces, and clutches with amazing designs details and lining. There are also some items that are clearly marked as reproduction pieces that are fun. I purchased a 20's flapper headband with feathers. The piece received many positive comments at a New Year's Eve party that I attended last year. I LOVE THIS STORE! I will gladly be making the 38 mile trek down to Elsewhere Vintage. read more

Elsewhere Vintage has such a beautiful array of clothing. I especially love the authentic Victorian clothes that they have. The gals that work at the store are very nice and extremely helpful. When I came in to inquire about an item I had seen on Instagram they brought it out and it fit perfect! I love shopping at small businesses and I especially appreciate that they follow Covid guidelines and make sure everyone is wearing proper face coverings. I have an artificial heart valve and pacemaker which makes me very high risk. I felt very comfortable and safe in this store! read more

Awesome vintage shop! Super cute dresses some are grossly overpriced but most are a good deal. I bought a super sweet 50s sundress from them for $42! Probably would have cost me at least $60 on etsy! Parking is super annoying but if you can parallel park like a queen you'll have no issues! The only bummer is they don't have an etsy shop and don't really update their Instagram enough to make it worth coming up more (I like to see what's new before heading down to vintage shops). The lady's seemed nice enough but not very friendly. I think they are used to people coming in to look and leave. They seemed shocked when I went to purchase my stuff. Other than that they are awesome. Side note: Coupon/check in offer only works on vintage items nothing in their reproduction section read more

I love this place! Kristine is amazing and very knowledgeable. Workers are always dressed beautifully.

All vintage, great layout for browsing. Kind of pricey, mostly sized 8-12. Friendly staff. Left without buying anything.

Great clothing although a bit over Priced wonderful customer service but the owner acted like a b word when I asked a simple question. Simply out, try similar vintage clothing company's. read more

I moved out to California in December and have never been to a vintage shop (they don't really have them out in New Hampshire). I walked into this store and fell into heaven, meaning, it took my mother a while to get me out of there. They have everything I could of ever imagined and I mentally buy all the outfits I fall in love with. One day I'll be able to buy something comfortably with out worrying about my funds (meaning, a job) and finally get to support my favorite spot in Orange, Ca. I feel like a teenager at the mall on a Friday night when I walk into this store, and I am so going to be doing it more and more! read more

If I could give this store any less stars I would! I tend to stop by once every 2 weeks (if my work schedule allows it) or once a month to stock up on the daily goodie finds. I would always find something awesome, or did. Now resume to TODAY (Nov 28, 2016 time: around 4 to 5). I recommended my mom the store because she is having a 1940's themed party and told her she'd definitely find something there. We got there around 4 ish my mom found a beautiful red dress. I told her try it on and go for it. Long behold the lady behind the counter told her she wouldn't get it down for her because it wasn't in her budget. Mind you this employee never spoke a word to us from the moment we walked in, (No, she didnt say she wouldn't get it down because it wouldnt fit her, only because I had already told my mom that before you try on something they measure you to make sure the items aren't forced or damaged further; so it's not like I misheard). So how could she possibly know it wasn't in our budget? Or did she think that because we were 2 Latina woman that we couldn't afford anything in the store? Totally rediculous! A total WTF moment. This store was my main go to for everything vintage but considering the poor customer service that was provided to me and my family which was super disrespectful! I will not be returning. This is the first and final draw. You don't disrespect family, nor make pre-judgements based on someone's appearance. Train employees to not judge or simply hire people who can actually handle to be in customer service, let alone work retail. read more

This is one of my favorite vintage stores in OC. I come here every time I drive down from SF. The prices are reasonable considering this place is very well curated with a broad selection of vintage clothes and accessories. I feel like those who complain about the prices don't know how much work it is to source all these items. The staff is great and really nice very knowledgeable about the items they have. They're always well stocked with great vintage hats ;) as with most vintage places clothes are on the small/medium side. I love coming in here to get inspired or find more vintage accessories for my growing collection. The hours are great most vintage stores cloth around 5pm in the area last I checked they closed at 7pm! read more

I stopped in here to check what else I might find since we'd been next door looking for a suit. I looked at their veil selection (you have to ask to see it, since it's not kept out on the floor) and while I didn't find anything, the veils were in good condition and there were many to look through. What I DID find was a reproduction 20s headpiece. I'm planning on adding tulle to it to make it into a birdcage veil. I've had the idea of some sort of headpiece in my mind for a while and I'm so happy I was looking into the glass cases and came across this one! A different woman was working today than last time, and again, I received excellent service. She was very helpful with getting out the veils for me to try on, following up with us, and helping me with getting the headpiece out for me to try on. read more

Don't waste your time! Over priced and most dresses are stained or ripped. Lacking customer service. Inquired about a dress in the window display and (never leaving the back of the counter) the sales assist said they don't show the window display dresses because it is a "hassle" putting them back. I recommend you go to a store where they actually want to sell dresses. read more

One of the best Vintage stores in SoCal Period!! Not only does it have a great selection (in a varietal of sizes) in just about any era you'd want, but it's clean, organized, and the prices are reasonsble!! I've been shopping here for years and Kristine is so helpful, and loves to share her wealth of vintage knowledge. I wanted to post a big Thank You for my last purchase of a beautiful 50s silk dress that I wore to the Disney Concert Hall. I can't wait to go back again!! read more

Heres the thing, they are a great shop. Customer service is great, over the top, sensational. However, look out for the prices and the quality of the piece your buying. I bought a $75 pair of vintage jeans. After wearing twice, I noticed a bleached stripe right down the right leg, I didnt notice it since its kinda dark in their store. Also, the right leg ripped! The pants were not tight enough to rip on their own, I always buy my vintage clothes to be more forgiving as i normally do not wear a corset or girdle underneath. After looking at the tear, I noticed that it had been sewn wrong to begin with, a bad "'ll fix it" attempt before selling. Im not going to bother taking the piece back as I may be blamed for it. I just think if your going to charge over $50 bucks for a simple pair of jeans, they better be in OK condition. I might come back, but I will be more anal abut the clothes. Update: I called them and asked abuot the pants. They blew me off. I know its old and vintage, but for the price I paid, I expected more. Oh well. read more

Clean and organized, found a dress for 80.00. In the middle of trying on and purchasing my 6 year old decided he needs to use the restroom. Knowing they have one I asked for him to use, they stated it's only for employees. As much as I loved the dress, I had to leave to take him across n down the street to Starbucks to pee. Didn't go back for the dress. read more

I really want to like this place but I always get treated weird... And by weird I mean badly. I adore the actual store, it's beautiful but I always get stared down at by the workers and feel like I'm being judged. Please ladies, I know I'm not dressed in head to toe vintage on this Tuesday evening but I do expect some respect because I am a paying customer after all. And for the dresses, some of them are modern but are still priced at 50-60 bucks? It's not really the store to go to and I advise on the selection of vintage stores on harbor in fullerton. read more

I was kind of disappointed by the selection. It was way too crowded with stuff. Just "stuff". I wish they had a bigger store to make it less cramped. I didn't want to stay in there long enough to actually shop. read more

By far the best vintage shop in Orange County, CA! I shop tons of vintage stores and this is my absolute favorite. The shop has a great boutique feel. The owner, Kristine, is fabulous and always willing to help and I have been in so many times that she knows what I like, so often suggests things that "look like me". Everything I have purchased here is one of a kind and in absolutely incredible condition - very much like buying designer vintage. Her prices are great. The pieces I have taken home will be worn for a lifetime! They are that fabulous! read more

This place is fabulous, tons of amazing vintage pieces and the staff is super friendly. Prices are pretty reasonable, and I managed to scored a striped 60s dress for $13! It was marked down 50% twice because of some light dirt stains that wouldn't come off, and a couple patches of loose stitching. I honestly didn't even notice the stains at first and it was pretty easy to fix up the loose threads, love my new purchase now. I also came across a gorgeous Victorian boned jacket priced at $124, had my wallet been fatter I just might have snapped that up too. read more
