There is always joy for me when I see a Starbucks Coffee Roaster in a place where there is more…read morepain than joy. The unmistakable green sign with the mermaid or Siren, welcoming you in for that taste of goodness. It feels like healing, drinking a cup of pike place. This location is of course within a hospital. Right there smack dab in between the two main entrances. There are the normal treats and sweets as well as sandwiches, stone ground oatmeals, and egg bites too. Little gift trinkets and beverage containers and bags of whole bean or ground coffee to. Plenty of room to sit and socialize or hop onto the internet for surfing. Everything to help your day go better. I get a chuckle everytime I see coffee being offered in such a way at a hospital. Not to long ago there were all these warnings and cautionary precautions being thrown around about the evils of such a product. My how the tables have turned on the so called experts claiming to know better. I will continue to carry my cup of coffee wherever I go and will fill it with Starbucks as often as I can. I've got my cup and I'll have a coffee cup for you too.

If you're passing through this town as a traveler then it's a great place to stock up on snacks, get some coffee and go to the restroom before continuing your drive. They have plenty of drink selections like any other Starbucks and the merchandise selection is good. They do take payments through the gold member Starbucks app and even let you redeem rewards. I did hear from the cashier that they should be building a stand alone Starbucks coming soon. Which is neat. Until then, enjoy this one!

The shop stunk, not like coffee either, it smelt moist. Kinda like wet dog minus the dog. All of that aside, I carried on. The staff were rude, with an overall energy that I was by somehow doing them wrong. The menu prices were also wrong, and I was just pointed to look at a sign that was off to the side and not clear either. It only said minimum $0.50 extra on menu items, which the staff blamed on inflation, and I paid an extra $1.50 for my drink. After I got my coffee I couldn't find the sleeves that were hidden behind stuff and the staff were not helpful, other than saying they were there. The coffee is okay, maybe around 3 or 4 stars. However, the service awarrants a never to return.

They also seem to be one of the last coffee shops I been at lately that is using styrofoam cups. I had brought my own , but the majority of the people sitting around me had these type. We were in somewhat of a time crunch, so kept it simple with a chai tea latte, hot and a simple cup of black coffee. We also opted for two raspberry vanilla scones. The regular black coffee was good and we love that the barista asked if she needed to leave enough room for cream. We often don't see that at other coffee houses. The chai tea latte was good as well. A little lighter in flavor compared to other chai teas I've had but I appreciated the change. As far as the raspberry vanilla scones went, while I found it delicious in flavor and love that it was a little crunchy on the outside, but soft on the inside, My husband would've preferred for it to be a little bit softer all around. All in all, this was a very cute coffee house and somewhere we would definitely go back to again
