I've tried giving this place a chance, but I'm done wasting my time. This is the third time I've driven here, about 20 minutes out of my way, only to find the place closed when their posted hours say they're supposed to be open. This morning was the final straw. Their hours say they open at 5 AM, and here I am sitting in the parking lot at 6 AM writing this review... and they're still closed. You can see the timestamp in the photos. Today is Monday incase anyone is wondering if I showed up on the correct day. To be honest, the coffee isn't even that great anyway, so I guess they're doing me a favor. What really made me laugh is the sign on the window asking customers to leave a 5-star Google review in exchange for a punch card credit. If you have to bribe people for good reviews, that might be a sign something isn't right. Maybe instead of asking for 5-star reviews, they should focus on something simpler--like showing up on time and being open during their posted hours. At this point, I'll just make coffee at home. read more

I've been coming to The Bean Bro Roastery & Coffee Co in Daleville, right off the base, almost every morning before work, and the coffee is usually really good. That's why this is disappointing to write. Today, I ordered a hot coffee but was given an iced coffee instead. When I politely let the worker know about the mistake, she responded with a bad attitude rather than simply correcting the order. It wasn't about the mistake -- those happen -- it was the way it was handled. It may seem like a small issue, but when someone is preparing your food or drink, attitude matters. A negative response in that moment doesn't leave you feeling confident about the overall experience. Customer service goes a long way, especially for regular customers. Amazing service from Angel today. My first time and the service did not disappoint. Angel was very knowledgeable on things she recommended since it was my first time and also took the time to explain what each drink consisted of. Her sells pitch definitely deserves a raise! This coffee joint was pretty much in the parking lot of the Daleville Inn that I was staying in. It's a fun little stand alone kiosk that I just had to try. My wife and I walked up and ordered a "summit" and she ordered a "Miami Vice" fruit smoothie. I also ordered an "old fashioned" doughnut and she ordered a bagel with cream cheese. Everything was made properly and promptly. The young woman that served us was pleasant, friendly and all smiles. Everything tasted fresh and my coffee was nice and hot. The fruit smoothie was super yummy. The building is clean and the area around it is also well maintained. It has a drive thru that was continually busy. I suspect this place is a favorite of the locals and army personnel headed onto the base. read more

Around 10:15 AM on April 25, I had an upsetting experience while receiving my order. I was met with an unreasonably hostile tone over what turned out to be confusion on the employee's part -- I was handed a hot beverage instead of iced (which is what I ordered) followed by a confrontational exchange regarding the order. People come to your shop for one reason: to enjoy a drink from the menu, not to be spoken to with egregious hostility over a simple mistake. After realizing she had been looking at the wrong drink ticket, the employee offered a remade drink and a free drink coupon -- a nice gesture, but one that doesn't undo the unnecessary verbal hostility I experienced. I left in tears. With two years of experience in the coffee industry, I've never encountered treatment like this from another barista. I also don't recall ever seeing this particular employee before. I have been a loyal customer since moving to the area, and it's incredibly disappointing to even consider leaving a review like this. I'd like to understand what action is being taken regarding this employee's behavior before considering taking this one-star review down. It costs $0 to be kind. read more

I got the "Fresh Fruit Pina Colada smoothie" thinking it's a safe option and shouldn't be hard to mess up since this was my first time trying this business. It tasted disgusting!! Found this place randomly on our way to Fort Rucker Base. It was such a pleasant surprise! It was so cute and so delicious. I got the Carmel Macchiato blended. I would not go if you want to be in and out. The drive thru is slow and if you're already committed to paying for your coffee, you just have to grin and bear it. Tipping does not speed up the service. If I'm driving by and see more than 6 cars waiting in line, I pass and go home and make my own coffee. This has actually saved me a lot of money. Their lattes are delicious, but expensive. West Coast coffee prices in Daleville, AL. We do have Military and their families from CA at Ft. Rucker. Perhaps these are the customers they're targeting? Just can't waste time if I'm on my way to work. If you're a stay at home parent, and you've just dropped the kids off at school, you've probably got time to spend 10-15 minutes waiting for your coffee. This is my second time trying Bean Bro and unfortunately both times were not great. This time I ordered their cowboy cold brew with a splash of milk and a little bit of sugar free vanilla. It was very watered down and could not taste the cold brew at all. The sugar free vanilla was also very overpowering. I could not make myself drink anymore that I had to pour the whole thing out. I would save your money :( The service was fast and friendly but their coffee was not great on both occasions. I'm sure their specialty coffee drinks/lattes are great for someone who likes something very sweet. This place blew me away. The hut-style coffee shop has a convenient drive-thru and offers a loyalty stamp card. The service was outstanding and the drinks were beyond amazing. We came 15 minutes before closing and were greeted warmly. They even gave my dog a treat! We had no idea what we wanted and Our server suggested multiple drinks and was super friendly and helpful. We got a cowboy cold brew with sweet cream and a patriot italian soda. Both were out of this world delicious. They serve a large array of cold brew, hot beverages, and non-caffeinated beverages. They also serve downtown donuts which is a huge plus since downtown donuts is further away from base. Bottom line, I think this is the best coffee around fort Rucker and I highly recommend it.
