This is a mediocre nail shop... I won't say "salon" because it's no frills. You are greeted with a holler from the back, while a nail tech is doing someone else's nails. It would be nice to have a person up front, welcoming their patrons instead of a shout. You are curtly told "pick a color" ... The tip sitch is annoying... theywant to to pay cash or ask you to send the tip through an app. Not cool. With a mail shop on just about every corner or strip mall, they need to up their mail game! I called this salon ahead of time to see how much painting my toenails and cutting them would cost since I didn't want a full pedicure. Mimi said it would be $10. Mimis daughter did a great job on my toes. However, I got a dip manicure done. it only lasted a week. The dip didn't cover my entire nail making it easy to come off. The dip just fell off of one of my finger nails. To top it off, when it was time to pay, Mimi decided to change her mind and say my pedicure was actually $25. Do not go here! I wanted a short set, so I went in and was helped by Christina. Very nice lady, however after getting my nails done I had acrylic everywhere. It appears that she used the wrong sized nails on my nail. I got my nails done Saturday, and Sunday while washing my hands a nail popped off. I went back Monday and got the nail replaced in which she filed a cut in my finger. Literally as I was taking a shower this am another nail has lifted and is about to come off. I tried out this place while I was waiting for another appointment and got a gel pedicure and a dip nail set with Mimi. She did a great job on the pedicure and was careful with shaping since my toenails are short (not posting pictures because no free foot pics!) and did a great job on the dip set. The shape is absolutely perfect and she was super good about constantly checking in with me to see how I liked the nails. I did take off a star since I feel like some of the nails were a little thick, especially for dip, but wish I could give a half star for how quickly they were able to get me in. read more

I came to Richmond to visit my sister in college and decided to get my nails done here. I got dip powder set which I have been getting regularly for about a year. It was so easy to make an appointment and I really loved the service here. My nail tech was rly attentive and was just rly nice. But the main reason why I decided to write a review when typically I don't is because my nails turned out so well and lasted sooo long without lifting or breaking!! I got my nails done January 14th and it is now February 19th. After getting dip powder for almost a year, my nails tend to show a bit of lifting at around 3-4 weeks but i'm on my 5th week w this set and it seriously looks perfect still. Great spot! Definitely make an appointment. It gets very busy with walk ins. I got dip on my nails and it's was well done and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that when I was seated and soaking my hands in the bowl to remove my old dip polish and I had to sit for 20 minutes or more which was very drying and hard on my hands. I went for a full set, the service was nice and the nail tech did great on the shape , but the acrylic was layed soo thin. I got my nails done may 15th. on the 20th i noticed a small crack in my thumb, and i literally woke up with a broken nail on my ring finger on the 25th. anyways today my thumb actually cracked straight across my nail bed.. it's bad , im bleeding and idk how to take it off w/o hurting myself , even cutting it down is pretty painful and it hasn't even been a full two weeks , a waste of 50ish dollars , sad to say i wont be returning. read more

I've been here twice now, and feel comfortable to write a review. The first time I came, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and well decorated the place was. Nothing is worse than walking into a dirty nail salon, and this was not the case! The place was IMMACULATE. I got a fill the first time ($17) and the lady did a really good job. She took her time and was more than patient with me when I wanted her to fix one of my nail shapes. The second time I came, I actually got my acrylics taken off ($10) and then a gel manicure ($25) I've been to other places where they kinda pry the acrylics off which is actually very traumatic, but at Eliz's nails they take their time to soak off the nails which can be a very long process which is something they clearly don't mind doing. My manicure was great, but I feel bad for the lady who keeps doing my nails because I'm so particular with my nails, I asked her to fix a couple of the shapes again, and she had no problem doing it. For just having acrylics taken off, my nails look amazing. Their prices are affordable and they have such a nice selection of gel polishes. I'm 9 months pregnant and my mother decided to give me money to treat me to a relaxing spa day. This experience was the opposite of relaxing and I regret going and leaving such a nice tip out of kindness. This is a detailed review of my experience from start to finish. Upon entering I was asked what services I need from across the room to the point I'm having to yell what I want done in front of others.. I wanted a simple mani and pedi with regular red polish. The woman points me to pick out a color and come to the back. The woman was very bossy and rude. She is a older Latina lady who was wearing a headset around her neck. She spoke on the phone the entire service. She pulled a hang nail off my toe nail and made me bleed. She did a very rushed job and didn't wait for the polishes to dry before applying each coat and top coat. Did not clean up the edges of the nail and no filling or smoothing the edges of my nails after cutting them with the clippers. At one point she dropped her nail clippers and picked them up to continue. I'm saying all this to say the place/business has potential to be very nice but the tech I received should not be there. As I was left at the pedicure bowl to dry..after 30-40 minutes of no further communication or check in from her , I decided to pay and leave. She tried taking my card without telling me a total first, so I asked how much and she said $48. I gave my card and put on the receipt a $10 tip ( out of generosity). She proceeds to ask, "Do you have cash app instead?" I said no and she looks disappointed and ask if I'm sure. This is highly unprofessional and ungrateful honestly I wanted to just take the tip off and say forget it. I left and was very frustrated with my entire experience. Some of you maybe thinking if I'm so picky to do my nails at home and I normally do but when you are pregnant you can't reach your feet or your back is hurting, It's nice to be pampered. I have high standards with nail salons because i am also one. I have my cosmetology license and know all the proper techniques that should be taken from sanitation to customer service. However, the business is very clean and I would recommend you to request someone specific each time to ensure proper service. read more

I was very happy with this being the first time my nail shape has been just as I asked (I show a guide every time). The color is accurate, they have a nice organized variety, and very friendly staff.
