I was armed with not one, but two MRIs from other doctors, ready to hear the dreaded "Let's schedule surgery" speech. Instead, I met with a genuine, down to earth, personable doctor that actually listened to all my complaints and I mean all of them lol. Not just "my back hurts," but also my entire medical history. Dr. Desaloms already has my MRIs up on a giant screen ready to review my issues. This office clearly invests in top-notch technology, and it shows. Love his PA Stephanie (extra bonus points for having her in his back pocket!). He's not the kind of neurosurgeon who pushes surgery just because he can. I may need it someday, but right now he's focused on what's best for me. That kind of organic, patient-first approach is rare. The entire staff at Dallas Neurosurgical and Spine, from the front desk, tech, PA to billing -- were exceptional people who obviously enjoy (and love) their jobs!

Dr. Dike - Affinity Neurocare Frisco…read more This is THE BEST Neurologist I've witnessed in my 35+ years in healthcare as both a practitioner and an administrator! I highly recommend Dr. Dike and his team! Office Manager Shervonha: You are truly a servant leader whose presence resonates long before you speak! Thanks for constantly checking in on us and ensuring everyone was comfortable and updated on statuses while we waited in the clinic. Your presence is comforting. You're a phenomenal leader and the clinic is very blessed to have you! Thank you. My Mom had her new patient appointment on 12/4/25. I want to thank the Affinity Neurocare team for your excellence in care and the patience that was shown as my Mom visited the clinic today. Thank you all so much. From the first interaction with Alexis at the front check-in desk, we felt comfortable and appreciated as clients of Dr. Dike. Alexis is a sweetheart and she was very polite. She's a wonderful first introduction to your clinic! We then met Leah, who is in a league of her own. Leah is awesomeness wrapped in a human body!! Her spirit resonated throughout the clinic. She was sweet and very warm at every interaction with each person we saw her speak with today. She is very knowledgeable, patient, and professional. Her smile speaks volumes of how much she enjoys what she does. She spoke very highly of your clinic and your practice, as she should. You guys are amazing. Tommy was another sweetheart. He was very patient as my Mom took her cognitive test today. Unfortunately, Mama had bilateral cataract surgery within the past few weeks and is experiencing some visual issues (which we are praying will subside within the next few months); therefore, some of the test questions were a little difficult for her to see. Tommy was patient and waited for her to feel comfortable before moving to the next questions of the test. Thankfully, he read most of the questions to her. Please thank him for his patience. Dr. Dike took time and listened intently as I went over a plethora of information related to Mama's medical history and some of the alternatives that have proven effective for her. I'm grateful for his patience and his ability to make his patients feel at ease while interacting with him. He listened, asked questions, and took time to understand everything that was being said before attempting to provide next steps for treatment. he did not rush us, cut us off, or rush to leave the room. Being one who facilitates best practice courses for providers and other healthcare professionals, I know that this is not always the case. I found your practice online and prayed over whom we should seek for neuro support, and Dr. Dike did not disappoint! We need more providers like him. Please thank him for his excellence in care. We also met Derrick, who is AMAZING! Derrick is another very professional, very knowledgeable, and very patient young man. He ensured Mama and I were comfortable while administering the ordered tests. He explained everything thoroughly and made sure Mama knew what was expected while taking the tests. He's a phenomenal professional. Please thank him for us. It was a blessing finding Affinity Neurocare and I'm so grateful for the excellent patient service you all provide to our community. Thank you so much for everything you do and for making a positive impact in the lives of our neighbors. It was well worth the drive from Wylie to Frisco to meet you all and I'm grateful to have your gifted hands overseeing Mom's care now. GOD bless you and may you continue to bless others through your gifting.

After having been to another neurologist who scared the bejeezus out of me by flat out telling me I had Multiple Sclerosis without the benefit of any testing whatsoever, I was desperate to find a neurologist and obtain help for myself. I had already been to the E.R. at a local hospital and was told I needed to see a neurologist immediately. The neurologist I was referred to had a 6 wk wait. In the meantime, I saw the scary neurologist who was of no help whatsoever. On a desperation call, I called Dr. Tobleman's office. I was sobbing pretty hard on the phone as I didn't seem to be making any headway with obtaining medical assistance. The kind person who answered the phone at Dr. Tobleman's office asked if I could please hold. When she returned to the phone she said Dr, Tobleman could work me in between appointments that very day. My husband drove me to Dr. Tobleman's office as I was in no condition to drive myself. When I first met Dr. Tobleman he said " please come in and sit down, take your shoes off, sit a spell". Okay, he didn't say the last bit but he did ask me to remove my shoes so he could test the reflexes in the soles of my feet. Dr. Tobleman proceeded to patiently listen to me and ease my fears as I was crying. Dr. Tobleman told me before we freaked out, let's do some testing and see what we are dealing with? Over a period of about 6 wks I had an MRI, a spinal tap and heavy metal testing. All of which were clear. Dr. Tobleman did prescribe one and only one medication for me and that was for my severe headaches. Dr. Tobleman told me he found nothing wrong with me and that he felt with time my symptoms would disappear. At the time I was working a very toxic job. Amazingly, after I was fired from my toxic job, my symptoms went away never to reappear. They don't make doctors like Dr. Tobleman anymore. The point of this long winded review is that this man has a caring and kind demeanor but he also goes the distance in investigating one's illness. If one is ill, it only crushes one's soul further to be not taken seriously by the medical community. This is just not the case with Dr. Tobleman. I would give this man 100 stars if possible.

I came to her after a very frustrating experience with a previous doctor where I simply didn't feel heard. From the moment I started seeing Dr. Cantrell, everything changed. She is incredibly patient, engaging, and understanding. What sets her apart is her tenacity--she will exhaust every bit of her medical experience to get to the bottom of what is wrong. I also deeply appreciate her directness; she tells you what you need to hear, which has made me feel safer and more "mentally healthy" than I've felt in a long time. It is so important to have a strong relationship with your specialist, and I've found that here. Don't hesitate--just book the appointment. You will not be disappointed!

Please do not become her patient, and do not let your loved ones become her patient. This was truly…read morethe worst--and actually traumatizing--physician experience of my life. At first, her bedside manner seems caring and attentive. She appears to listen, but if you ask a question that doesn't make sense to her or ask her to clarify something, she quickly becomes irritated and dismissive. During my visit, she rushed through my physical exam, then returned to the room and abruptly said, "We need to have a serious conversation--major problems. You definitely have neuropathy and cognitive issues." As I sat there stunned and in tears, she continued by telling me to start taking her brand of vitamins, do memory puzzles, and return in six weeks after completing additional tests. After my testing and MRI results came in, her assistant called to tell me that my disc issues were likely due to my weight and that I needed weight management. I am 5'9" and 140 pounds. It was clear she hadn't reviewed my file and simply gave a standard response she uses for anyone with disc degeneration, assuming they are overweight. The worst part was her response to my MRI results, which showed chronic ischemic small vessel disease. She said it "wasn't a big deal" and was "just due to your advanced age." I'm 40 years old--dementia and vascular changes are not normal at my age. She dismissed my concerns and implied that my symptoms were simply because I was "elderly." She also recommended a four-day hospital stay to monitor my brain waves. When I asked for more information, she became defensive and short-tempered. Please ignore any positive reviews. Get another referral from your doctor and run far, far away.
