I just love Dr. Raroque and his staff! They are all very nice and professional. Dr. Raroque always…read moretakes plenty of time to listen to you and let you voice your concerns. He is very good about explaining treatment options and really wants patients to take an active role in their healthcare and the "detective" work that goes into understanding sleep disorders or other neurological conditions. Dr. Raroque is very thorough in ordering diagnostic tests to rule out other, more serious health conditions before starting you on medications that may have adverse effects to your health. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because I have often had to wait a long time to be seen, even when on time to appointments; it is very hard to get an appointment unless booked 6 to 8 weeks or more in advance (so no chance to move appointment if something comes up last minute...unless someone else has also canceled last minute on another day) ; and for some of the medications prescriptions they require you come pick up a paper Rx and will not call in refills to your pharmacy...so this can be a real drag when your follow up appointment is in 8 weeks but they only give you a 1 month supply prescription at your appointment. Otherwise I really like the office and staff and quality of care.

I was referred to this office by my PCP. I was wanting to be seen for a know neurological disease…read morethat I have. They ordered lab tests, and I went to Labcorp to have blood drawn. My insurance company denied the claim based on a diagnosis code. I called the MDO office in DECEMBER OF 2017. I was told by the office assistant that they would re-submit with a new diagnosis code, which should be approved. The process was supposed to take up to 6 weeks. I am now getting notices from Labcorp's collections department. When I call to inquire, they tell me they have not gotten new diagnosis codes. I have left multiple voice mails and have never gotten a call back. I am now likely going to be out of pocket close to $300 to keep this from hitting my credit report.

I was SO disappointed in our appointment. I went to this office specifically for one service -…read morewhich was not performed - arranging everything beforehand, including sending x-rays from the referring dentist - and the office agreed and quoted a price. Today, it was like the dentist knew none of this. They just repeated what the previous dentist had done. And the amount I was charged, was completely different from the quote. Yes, I brought it up politely, but they never addressed the problem, just repeated the amount owed and expected payment. No discussion. They sent a 'treatment plan' that had absolutely no mention of treatment, just a lump sum, and something to sign to indicate how we'd pay for it. And their prices were NOT reasonable. Clearly, profit is all that matters here. To top it off, the dentist was not someone with whom I felt confident. They failed in every possible way. Please don't respond with fake apologies like "I'm so sorry you feel that way." It's meaningless and insults the readers' intelligence.

I walked into a a busy office, but the experience was amazing, since I was greeted immediately and welcomed with a friendly vibe as the reception got the check-in process started for me. I swear she is just trying to bill insurance for as much as she can. She doesnt explain her…read morethinking and basically is looking for something wrong with you. She wants a gazillion of tests and blood tests to look for anything wrong grasping at straws to see what sticks. Thats what it felt like. I saw Dr. Debra Combs Cantrell last year, she was the 5th specialist I saw in a 10 month period…read morethat was recommended to me by another doctor. She is a kind woman, a bit eccentric, I believe at the time I found her cartoonish but I think that was how her voice sounded through the migraines. Here's the thing, she seemed to care and she tried to help me. The biggest issue is that she would schedule our follow ups 2-3 months apart. Had she been willing to see me more frequently I could have wasted less time with her as she was not able to help me. She was the only specialist I saw that prescribed something that had some change in my symptoms but it wasn't fixing them, it was simply changing them and I was not able to improve my quality of life on it. In fact it had a strong physical effect on me that was not healthy. However, I would wait in her freezing room for 40-55 minutes past our appointment times for 15 minutes of consultations and instruction to come back in a very long time. It was disrespectful and she wasn't able to help me. She also insisted on another MRI and MRA even though I had given her the laundry list of testing I had done including 2 other MRIs that she had the results of. This however, seems to be a common practice among all neurologists but makes the patient feel like they aren't being listened to. What did end up being wrong with me was on the MRI but "that's not what neurologists look for." When I was in tears with her about medicines that were not working and that my symptoms were inhibiting my driving ability and I was scared but I had to get to work each day... she told me not to drive anymore... than suggested I drive to places across the state. In fact, it was basically up to me to diagnose myself and when I thought I was on to something and asked her for a referral she basically said that sounded great but she didn't know what to tell me. I was already discouraged and frightened when I started seeing her for my symptoms and I still felt that way when I decided to stop seeing her. I would recommend you consult heavily with your primary care physician before you see any neurologist and there are other ones here but I also recommend you get second and third opinions as this field commonly uses patients as guinea pigs and tell you that you may never know what is wrong with you. That aspect is more the fault of our country's medical care system than her fault. I am giving the second star because her bedside manner and concern were unfortunately a lot higher than 3 of the other specialists I saw. This may not seem like it now but this is a comparison review of the field and there are ones out there that are worse. Her staff was always cordial to me, never had a single complaint there. There are also other neurologists out of this office, I cannot speak to them. There is an MRI facility on site so you can schedule to get one done a lot quicker than at other places.
