We were able to schedule the work done easily on a Saturday and the crew was extra fast in getting this done within a few hours for us. They also did air seal on the same day. The crew was very nice and overall did the best they could to clean, although it does get dusty so make sure to cover as much as you can or do this before moving any furniture in! For sound proofing / soundproofing / insulation, I called a few places but couldn't find many except for Elite Thermal! I live in a building built in the 1970s and have early-riser loud upstairs neighbors with toddlers that woke me up everyday for nearly a year (even with ear plugs and sound machines) - and the soundproofing ultimately worked where it brought the noise down to about 10% or maybe 25% of how loud it was before so I could sleep through it! David from Elite Thermal was extremely responsive and provided helpful email documentation & descriptions of the different levels of soundproofing that could be done. And I worked with Chad and Gabriel for the renovation itself. The sound proofing renovation took about 1 week (I opted for the highest level). And Chad communicated the schedule and what each day would be expected, while Gabe with his team communicated when they would arrive/depart each day. It was structured and prompt! Naturally with any renovation, be prepared to clean your place up from the plaster (although they did a good job of covering the floors and walls and sweeping, but dust gets everywhere no matter what). I love that this is a family owned business and they come with decades of experience as David grew up in the business as his father works in insulation on the East Coast. You can't put a price on experience and I could tell talking to him that this work is a passion for him. Decided to have wall insulation drilled in and went to Yelp to start my project. Elite Thermal was one of the companies responding to my inquiry. David, the owner, like other reviewers said is very responsive by email and text. Price was competitive. Work was done timely. I also had them do the patching and painting which I believe they contract out for. I was probably a little annoying as I was concerned with the patches being painted and it blending in with existing paint. In the end I had them paint the entire exterior. Elite Thermal was dedicated to high quality and thorough. I chose Chad and his team over two other contractors because of his thorough needs assessment of our home and knowledge of the considerations to take when deciding where and how to install the insulation. He was not the cheapest quote, but it was all well spent. There were some unexpected obstacles that came up, but Chad made sure to go and check everything himself and was in constant communication with us. Examples: It ended up that our home had stucco over plywood due to previously being a clapboard house. The team problem solved and drilled in through the stucco and plywood respectively so that the insulation could go in properly from the exterior. While drilling in from the exterior, a wire was cut. Chad had an electrician repair it the same day. Weeks later when we discovered some electrical issues, he sent an electrician again to repair it until it was resolved. After the stucco was patched and painted, some overspray was visible. Chad sent his team a second time to repaint the house to ensure the exterior paint job was still in good shape. In the crawl space some of the insulation was prone to sagging, so the team came a second time to reenforce it and make sure it would stay long term. Though the project ended up more complicated than we expected, Chads team was dedicated to getting it right and stayed in communication the whole time. The difference in insulation has already been noticeable! Can't wait to see how our energy bill improves as well. read more

Unfortunately, I just got a new roof and the roofers decided to leave trash, broken wood, and boards etc. Chad from Elite thermal,was kind enough to ask the installers to pick what trash they could & take it out of there. Then they even took the trash & disposed of it. How kind is that? KIND! So in my eyes? They went above and beyond. I haven't even got to the best part... My house is only 1300 ft.². Elite Thermal lives up to their name. In converting my garage into a working studio for VO, self-tapes and writing, I required more than just a simple insulation install. Lighting, soundproofing, a split A/C, flooring etc. were necessary to make the space functional, comfortable AND have the foundation to be converted into a future ADU. Chad arrived along w/ two other vendors competing for the job precise understanding of the assignment and won me over. I was looking for a company to do the insulation for my parents home that was built in the 1920s as it had no insulation in the roofing/attic space since it was old and very cramped (I'm talking a skinny person would never fit) most companies couldn't take the job because they didn't have anyone that could fit but these guys made it work on top of that they were priced better than competitors! Top it off they were sooo CLEAN! They wrapped each area they were around in plastic, had their shoe covers etc so professional I didn't have to bother them about anything they were in an out! Chad it was great having you on this project you're an amazing guy I had no idea about how insulation works and why their house was so cold but he is soo knowledgeable about this that he left no doubt in my mind that he and the team would get it done! We had zero insulation in our house, we got 3 different quotes and even though Elite came in a bit higher than the other 2 quotes, there was no question to go with Elite, not only did they not have to go through the interior of our house. Where we'd have to move everything plus the added amounts of drywall dust everywhere. Elite was able to go through our outside of the house. They quoted us to be a 3 day process, it was all finished re-stuccoing the outside in 2 days. We were beyond pleased with the final outcome, they matched the stucco and all. We did our entire attic space and a few outer walls. There's so little space under the flat roof numerous other companies said the job was too complicated. His team was up for the task including all of the finishing work (retexturing wall and ceiling plaster, repainting etc).
